Unconditioned reinforcer: Ex. breathing or regulated body temperature Unconditioned punisher: Ex. loud noises Conditioned reinforcer: Ex. compliments Conditioned Punisher: Ex. bullying Generalized Reinf. &Punish: is an example of this being scared of all snakes in multiple settings with multiple people Stimulus Control: the stimulus control of a hot stove will prompt me to stand back Rule governed bx: wearing a coat in the winter Contingency shaping: is an example of this teaching a learner to tie their shoes? You nailed it! I love your examples. It’s so much fun when we can identify ABA in everything we do. I usually associate teaching a learner to tie their shoe with behavior changing procedures (forward chaining/backward chaining) or behavior shaping procedures.
