I'm thinking of Church members who watch this and think, "She took advantage of BYU's cheap tuition." At the same time they should be thinking "she served a mission- for free."
Also, the reason members get cheaper tuition is because BYU is funded by tithing, which we can assume she paid for years, so she deserves cheaper tuition just as much as any current Mormon.
I was with a childhood dog when he was put down. I cried every time I talked about it for 7 years. ♥️ Amazing and beautiful story. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Seeing this new generation embrace their authentic selves and giving the old establishments the message that we're done with their misunderstanding gives me so much hope that things are finally starting to change. Thank you, Jillian! I wish I'd had half of your courage at your age.
I had a real similar supernatural experience - I prayed about me being gay and it was late at night and I heard “you are welcome in my kingdom”. I have not had anything like this before or after, and this message was so absolutely clear to me, that it settled every doubt and debate I had within myself. It was so profound, that 25 years later I can still remember that night as if it was on videotape. It’s so powerful I love that other peoples narrow minded misconceptions on the greatness of God not need to limit your desire to commune with him. Bravo! A girl after my own heart.

Jillian's experience with her revelation from God is really how answers to prayers come. The answers, supposedly from God, are really your mind giving you the answers.

Yep. It’s the natural path of smart, proactive honest kids from the younger generation. It’s a problem with the church not the youth. The church sucks at being honest and with its claims and with its leadership and they won’t change which is why membership is imploding, starting with the younger members.

And he ALSO died the day after my first long-term relationship ended. He was always there for me, and loved me when I thought no one else could. I get that. 😢❤

It is so sad that a church and a religion can cause so much pain. Christopher Hitchens was correct when he said religion poisons everything. That this woman had to go through all of this angst because of what she had been told in church is so incredibly sad. It's such a waste of emotional energy, and it's cruel. @1:11 A very interesting topic has risen. I have never been to Utah, and the exit interview info is fascinating. I could have listened to more detail on that,as it is apparently only something for a certain age group or returned missionaries. It seems like the returned missionaries only want girls who want to make babies right away and stay home and cook their meals, clean, (a maid) or just be students forever while the guy makes a career/income, etc. Maybe that's why the guy was not keeping up. I think it would be easy for a guy to overpower someone who isn't making a living to provide for themselves so his higher income is an influence for girls to marry young, or maybe it's just hormones and that culture. The whole culture aspect in that region is fascinating because they do get married so young.
Oh my- he answered my question right after I paused the video to type the above. He's good. Dang. He nailed it to. And her statement is SO perfect, finding someone to run along side you and keep up. That is the right way. This girl is going places.
