I did a bit of research on the McCracken family. Turns out Robert and Phyllis were married almost 60 years and passed away 2 days apart. Robert passed away on Feb 13 after battling cancer for a number of years and Phyllis passed away Feb 15 after suffering a stroke 6 months earlier. Together, they owned a local motel for a number of years before turning the operation over to one of their sons in the '90s. They were well known and beloved in the community for their fundraising efforts every year on St. Patrick's Day of hosting a party of Irish Stew and beer; proceeds were donated to local causes including local citizen's medical expenses after an accident, local schools & students, library, etc. Their son, Shawn, passed away after his parents in 2010 as Shawn is listed as one of the survivors. Be safe & take care!
Wow that is incredibly sad a whole family gone just mere days/months apart. I'm sure the wife died of a broken heart and the son I wonder what happened to him that is just heartbreaking. The loss of three people in less than a year. Did it say how the son passed away?
These are people just like we all are.. trying to have a happy fulfilling peaceful life.. These were people who did their best to bring love and give back and be the best they can... Good bless them and rest in peace.
Katherine Grace Gaylord - I found her obituary from July 27, 1950... "Fennville (Special) -- Katherine Grace Gaylord, 8, only child of Mr. & Mrs. John Gaylord, died Sunday morning July 23, in Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, where she had been for two weeks. Cause of death was believed to be leukemia, which may have developed after the child had measles. She was born February 7, 1942, and attended the Fennville school. Surviving besides the parents are two grandparents, Mrs. Caroline Haan of Grand Rapids, and Wayne Leverich of Fennville.
jilliebeane that’s sad. It’s hard to believe that this young lady had been gone for almost 70 years, but if she had lived, she could still be alive today.
Such tragedies make me remember Final Destination movie. There was similar story where a lady survived 9/11 tragedy where she worked in one of the towers as a maintenance person and died few years down the line in a plane crash.
I almost lost my life by the hands of a man.. I am grateful everyday God let me live to raise my beautiful daughter! "Live each day to its fullest because tomorrow is never promised!"
Kim, I've survived a stroke a blood bacteria and lymphoma cancer, do you think the God that was with me and got me through that can handle anything that people go through in life?
The McCracken's deaths are true a tragedy for the family. The father died Feb 13 at home, the mother died Feb 15 in the hospital & then the son. (Who is listed in Mrs McCracken's obituary among the surviving family.) Such a blow in the course of a couple weeks.
It’s nice you remember to be greatful for the small things. My daughter cannot talk and it breaks my heart daily but I’m also greatful it’s not worse. Bless those who are gone
I've been going through some depression issues lately, so thank u for reminding me to appreciate the little things and more importantly, be grateful for life.
I have severe arthritis, am in constant pain and can barely walk. I sometimes get very low. But you are right, Lamont. This is such a beautiful world and every day is precious. Thank you for reminding me.
I have Multiple Sclerosis, my friend, and sometimes my legs and hands don't work, just know, if we wake up to see tomorrow, it is a beautiful day, because it's a day, we have not met yet ❤
@@andreawheatley5528 You are so right. Thank you for your kind words. I salute your courage and wish you many beautiful sunrises, rainbows and sweet-smelling roses. Warmest wishes. Avril. 🌄🌈💐
You're a very special person more people should subscribed to your videos it's amazing for such a young man who is so loving an caring your a old soul in a young body your videos are done with so much respect thank you so much
My 2 closest friends that I have known since birth - one died of a rare disease 4 years ago this October. The other one - 47 years old - never smoked, never drank - one of the best human beings that I have ever known - had a massive stroke in February. He survived, but is paralyzed on his left side and they have said that the right side of his brain is completely dead. He is still in the hospital and will probably never walk again. One of the saddest things I have ever witnessed. The old adage of why bad things happen to such good people...I will never understand it.
Words of wisdom, Lamont. We need to remember to be thankful for every small thing as they may become big...just like every moment we live. Thank you for your videos...
“I mean, they say you die twice. One time when you stop breathing and a second time, a bit later on, when somebody says your name for the last time.” - Banksy
Lamont...Great job as always. The respect you display for those who have passed is very refreshing. The minute or two you use to explain a loss of life that possibly should not have occurred hopefully will help our younger generations to think about drinking and driving, using drugs or becoming part of a gang. Yes...useless loss of life following a poor decision. Please travel safe Lamont, and continue your excellent work.
🐝 Lamont you are a inspiration TO ME. It's just good to know that I'm not the only one that thinks about the little stuff and how important it is to be thankful. Bless 💞🕊
He's given me the inspiration to go film my local cemetery, where many friends and neighbors lay at rest. Another cemetery that is supposed to be the most haunted, but when I went years ago, I saw family's buried all within a week of each other, like a sickness got them all. So I think I will look in to a few cemeteries around me. I've always read the stones. One ladies stone read...Are you looking for me? Great inspiration Lamont. I have MS, but love making interesting Content!!

I met your channel through Dee, and I love this channel. I have lost so many friends along this journey in life. My son is a Combat Veteran, as is a few cousins, nephew and neighbors children.
