Can you do more for tutorials OHD? The landscape materials are driving me nuts. Also figuring out which files need to be in my mod folder vs what can stay in the actual ohd folders. It's all super confusing

I use GenericEntity from create menu and use that as a child under the house and put all the trees/fences etc in that.

What's your reason for not making the house the child of the generic entity and putting the trees and fences as children of the house?

Personally I found it more convenient. Just due to the fact that you can just drag the house around or duplicate it and it takes everything else with it.
Hope I answered your question correctly

@@Piano_man4854 That makes sense. I like the prefab method as well. I wonder which method is better for performance? I was actually asking @invert6actual585 why he puts the generic entity as a child to the house and not the other way around. I wasn't sure if that was the proper way or it was just preference.

@@dylanwright907 so i can adjust the trees to the terrain slope easier.
