    doing upscaling in pieces is a great idea. leonardo just came up with an upscaler in the same vein as magnific...currently not as many options as magnific, and not rolled out completely at the moment (sometime in the next week or 2) but the idea is the same. it truly is magical, i havent gotten this excited about a new ai feature since the beginning. i like bringing the hallucinate level up to maximum then bringing it into photoshop and mix and matching different hallucination levels in the frame

    I've just discovered it, if Topaz doesn't catch up, they might be in trouble! They used to be hands down the best at this. This is not just upscaling 8:20, this is pretty much recreating the photo from scratch!

      Topez AI does its own thing. But yes, if they added an ai enhancer/upscaler to their Topez AI software, that would be awesome. I wish they would add a colorizer for old photos while they're at it.

      @@CoolhandLukeSkywalkr yeah these ai upscalers are not really upscalers in a sense. idk what you'd call them but yeah topaz is doing something different. topaz does leave me wanting for a lot of stuff though, it would be cool if 'hallucinating' was an option there. it seems to me that adding skin detail while retaining likeness shouldnt be that difficult of a thing but im probably wrong

      @@spacekitt.n The problem is that both Krea ai and magnific ai are still both too cartoonie and not photorealistic, especially in the faces of people. They have their use cases, but they need a lot of improvement for photorealistic images and actual photos. I'm not trying to turn my photorealistic art into a cartoon. If they can come out with an enhancer /upscaler that doesn't ever ruin faces, I would be very grateful.

      @@spacekitt.n Topez is super useful, but if you need to repair pixelated faces with blurry eyes, it won't do that by itself. myheritage or remini enhance will be necessary, as well as upscaling and face repair in Topez. So, it's a matter of finding the correct tool for the specific job at hand.

      I remember they were running a test day recently when you could get some free credits to try Magnific. Hopefully they will introduce that as a permanent feature. Until then you need to pay the monthly subscription fee to try it out. I will try to reach out to the creators to see if they can share some free credits with our viewers.

    • @CoolhandLukeSkywalkr
      @CoolhandLukeSkywalkr 8 месяцев назад

      @@klerb342 One example. I make art of James Dean. I have an ai art generation with a James Dean prompt, and it got me close. But then krea Ai totally fixed the half assed version of James Dean I had and put a super realistic much closer version of James Dean in the picture instead. With Taylor Swift, it's even crazier. A blurry sdxl image of Taylor Swift that absolutely didn't come out correctly at all was tested by me in krea Ai, and it came back with phenomenal Taylor Swift art that looked exactly like her. I make celebrity art. This feature is super helpful for me. Unfortunately, it didn't work with Macaulay Culkinuly home alone art. But it worked with multiple celebrities I've tried so far. Also, magnific is sharper and, in some ways, more technologically advanced, but I feel like it's overly sharpened in its outputs. Also, it makes everything look painted, for the most part. Krea and magnific are the only two true ai enhancer engines so far an I much prefer the look of krea images for the most part. Sometimes magnific is the clear better. It depends on which picture. My favorite thing I can do with the enhancers is upgrade old Black and White and color photos. I am planning on training sdxl loras soon, I'm using krea to do restoration work on the old photo after I colorize them in hitpaw. In the best case scenarios, I get photos that look 2024. I get 25 of those, I can train an sdxl lora of a golden age actress like Marilyn Monroe and Paulette Goddard and Donna Reed who I am working on for my first sdxl loras, once the restoration work is complete. I train sdxl loras on a third party website so that I can improve my versions and see if I'm ready to actually get the sdxl loras trained for real. These are amazing use cases. I hope we see two or three more AI enhancers like this before 2025.
