At 18:18 you talk about a watermark removal tool but earlier in the video you mention that AI needs to add watermarks 😂. The technology is moving too fast for any kind of security or verification signature. People are just gonna have to be informed about new technology advances.
It's a fair point - but we are trying to decipher the difference between a visible watermark for are more enjoyable viewing experience while having a digital watermark to still keep original artists protected (where it applies).
This was really well put together and insightful, definitely will share it. Hope to get my hands on the google image generation soon and the depth maps are super useful.

Have you seen the work of Kelly Boech? She makes absolutely stunning videos. She takes the strangeness of AI and uses it to her advantage by starting off with very strange and abstract images! One of my favorite AI artists out there. I see her mostly on TikTok.

5:30 Not sure of the point of going from 3D to 2D. You could have just used Midjourney. I thought you were going to show low res 3D to high res 3D. Literally could've used MJ and removed the background.
The big thing would be control. By using a 3D asset you can have more control over the object and composition, lighting, etc. But both options could be helpful depending on your creative needs.
The watermark removal thing isn't the end of stock photography; it's part of the systematic dismantling of IP protections. However my advice to stock artists is to keep making stock art without watermarks, just ensure all your images you'd usually put water marks on instead are processed by several layers of different AI poison. Gotta protect your livelihood these days from willing participants in the big art heist in modern history.

Im a old school 3D Modeler Animator so l personally can already see the benefits of using "some" AI tools to the extend that l now can Develop my own Models/Tools from scratch. So we could now say Designers that can design and program their own gig from the get go will be on top for sure. 😉

Agreed. I think the same thing when I hear governments talking about the risks of deep fakes. There's no stopping this now.
I think the difference is between visual and hidden watermarks, that are part of the encoding format or container the media resides in...

Using Runway - you can extend the generation to up to 15 seconds.

What do you mean and 'editable' final video? Most of these platforms will let you export in formats like .mp4
Or just take audio file, run through it with chatgpt to get images, then animate with pika lab. That's my work flow to create my short stories :p
