- As the devastation of Hurricane Harvey continues to mount, some good Samaritans in the Houston area are not letting their neighbors fall behind. Beatriz Basaldua opened her home to 10 adults and five children, who are sheltering together on the second floor after the first floor flooded. "I told them they're welcome to all come and they all came in at the same time," she told Inside Edition. "We are blessed that we were all able to move into the second floor where we are dry and safe." #InsideEdition

Bro. My mom let neighbors stay while the hurricane happened and a week or two after....they stayed for 6 damn weeks. Had annoying ass kids too. I’m happy to have them to stay at my house for safety, but after a week or two, they should have left. Drove me insane.

Yesterday I had to be taken out of my house by boat the current on our street was so bad we couldn't walk in it knowing the streets you road your bike on the day before is now being evaluated by a fire department boat is terrible people outside of Texas think they know what's going on but they don't all they see is what's on the news not what's really happening like families not being able to bring their pets shelter and leaving them in 2 feet of water (I was able to get my dog out the next day) don't trust what's on the news it's all just highlights of everything else that is happening they're creating drama over a church that wasn't able to open for their on safety not that you can look outside and see people on their roof or parents screaming for help struggling to keep their babies out of the water don't judge until you know what is really happening
