Gotta love how Payday 3's biggest positive impact was having youtubers who were previously only playing payday a reason to branch out in their content.
People say that but then his 2 helldivers vids got a lot less views
@@OhNoTheFace I mean..
In case of HD2 you just kinda would enjoy it more by actually playing it yourself
@@OhNoTheFace well, that's to be expected of a channel that made 10 years of Payday content suddenly branching out to another game
*cough* GeneralMcBadass
@OhNoTheFace yeah that's gonna happen. If you jump off the ship, you gotta swim. If you diversify, you have to contend with people being unfamiliar with the content. It's like starting over again, but with the benefit of having some content doing ok (hopefully). You have to consistently make the new content to grow that audience.
Speaking (ironically) as a PD2 player who physically can not speak, devs who assume that people are just going to use a mic and don't let you use a text chat can go take a long walk off a short pier.
Same. Lack of text chat in a coop game is a horrid experience when you really can't talk.
i still cannot believe the finals have no chat system at all, just voice chat. i don't know why not having text chat in multiplayer games is trendy nowadays
@@martinszymanski2607because its easier and they're lazy
Probably because then they have to make a chat monitering system
Yeah it's embarrassing
At this point it's obligatory to put "It's Clown Time" for every Payday 3 announcement
My favourite part is when we completed that achievement and then proceeded to clown all over the place.
I mean, we’re LITERALLY playing as clown masked robbers… 🤡
corporate overlord engagement boost
I don't want to give up on the game but they're making it really hard
Same here. Not to mention PD2 is Getting more crash happy.
@@drewholmes7356 It is?
@@MyUsersDark nah. all i see is a bunch of idiots on the steam forums complaining about crashes when they dont know how to update their mod manager
@@devlintaylor9520 alright, I figured it would be strange for it to get worse if it wasn't even getting updates anymore (at least in the past few months...)
Same but from the opposite side. Beta left me with an off feeling so i skipped PD3, partly coz Darktide's launch had left me a little wary.
I figure if they can get offline and server stuff sorted i'd chance it on sale, and with a few more bits on top i'd be willing to full price. But that assumes the game survives.
And i was hyped for PD3, even dragged my ass through the secret and brought my achievement completion to 50+%.
Feels like every new Knowley video is just further cementing how out of touch Starbreeze is with us.
I want you guys to remember they have a skeleton crew on this while they're trying to churn out another two live service games by 2028.
Starbreeze is blind to the point of it feeling intentional. It's like they want the game to die.
idk why they think leaving there big title to bleed out for 2 new games with no ip investment and the dev teams now known for not caring for us is going to succeed. raid didnt and that game was functional unlike walking dead
So that explains why it feels like there's barely anyone left from the original development team.
Didn't Starbreeze run out of money when they went indie mid-PD2? I recall those times being complete garbage and they needed 505 to buy them again.
Here I thought this game was going to be GOTY. Boy was i wrong
Yeah BG3 also came out that year so it wasn't even close
Think its overdue Knowley find a new game to upload, payday shat the bed and is on the process of kicking the bucket
Have you not seen him doing helldivers content or are you complaining to complain?
@@shinyrayquaza9his helldivers content gets less views than his payday content, so it’s not working out as much as expected
@@LD-sx9prthat is expected though, it's not a primary Helldivers channel so they aren't expected to get the same views anyway
Helldivers is fun to play but boring to watch (just my opinion)
Basic features after 7 months, YAY!!!
I sadly won’t play til there’s a filter for heists. I keep joining a heist with loud load out when people are stealthing or stealth loud out when people are loud.
I appreciate your vids as a way to determine if its worth jumping back into PD3. So far it hasn't been, but im hoping that will change in time, as unlikey as it seems.
Yay, i love my gaming field slowly becoming a nuclear winter.
It's so utterly fascinating that they had Payday 2 right there, one of the most fun, entertaining and personally best multiplayer games of the last decade and instead of taking what worked from that to make the best multiplayer game of THIS decade they instead spaffed it so far up the wall it starting to drip from the ceiling and there attempts to fix it amount to putting a bucket on the floor to catch the dripping.
Like man i bought the pre-order editions cause I loved payday 2 and i really wanna love payday 3 but its getting difficult my dudes
Not that Helldivers and Payday are the same, but it's so bizarre to me that the sequel to an immensely popular, long-lasting and very profitable game has flopped so hard in comparison to the sequel to a niche but doing alright top down shooter. Like damn.
Seems mainly due to the fact they want to change some things so it doesn't copy and paste the same mechanics from pd2.
So you can't really blame them much, The problem is they executed bad.
@@vothbetilia4862 The thing is, payday 2 as I said was really, really fucking good, so most people probably wouldn't have minded if they just took the idea's form payday 2, improved upon them and called it a day.
They had a really fancy rimmed decked out wheel and they tried to improve it by making it a hexagon
these update videos are the only payday 3 media that i consume. Seems like this game is starting to get to a ok state. It makes me happy that they're still pushing through this mess
I thought this was gonna be another rant video but im happy to see that you actually say alot of positive things in this update! In my eyes, payday 3 has alot of potential but it just released too early with not enough content and way to many bugs. I really hope next year or maybe late this year PD3 will get better and more popular! They are starting to go into the right direction
It’s a difficult balancing act. I think all creators associated with Payday are finding it tough to not be disillusioned.
My focus at the moment is to keep it entertaining, even if it’s negative or critical, I don’t want it to be mean spirited and I want to give credit where it’s due. Appreciate the comment!
It’s as if they wanted to *have to* go back to PAYDAY 2 updates
I really love how honest you’ve been about payday 3 when a lot of RUclipsrs for other games tend to be misleading for games. It’s good to see the community acknowledging that this game is dog shit (at least at this time), and there needs to be far more work put in to fix this game.
Thanks for keeping doing these and being honest with perspective, at end of the day we here for you and faking emotion would be a disserve to self and level headed fans, cheers for the vids
These updates are like putting a bandaid on a gunshot wound it may hide the bleeding and cover the hole but does nothing to fix the core problem of a lack of ability to improve upon the last game and has lost the interest of the majority of the gamers who thought the game did have some potential but was squandered in less than the first month
I think the biggest issue with payday 3 is the lack of a game to play whatsoever. The launch heists are realistically all anyone will get to play without any future dlc, and every single one of them are beyond boring in comparison to even the most mundane heists from payday 2.
1:30 its because I don't care. I did care. I cared a lot. I pre-ordered PD3 and I dealt with launch problems and not getting my pre-order bonuses for a month. Now I see a game that could have been good and maybe eventually it will be but I just don't care anymore.
Well, as it is always said, Payday 2 was also bare bones at launch and even a while after
Can sit in the van = good update
I’m still holding out hoping a “no man’s sky” situation takes place. Where they turn a launched mess into a now fan followed and enjoyed game
To me, I think PD3's update have had a trend of "One step forward...and that's it." The Form a Party system is a perfect example. You can finally stay with the group you were playing, just like the lobby systems from PD:TH and PD2, except that's all they added and didn't bother to add simple stuff like a chat box, voicechat or any other means of communication, something that would have been a glaring problem in QA testing, yet they didn't do anything about it. They added part of a system, but not the other part of the system that really makes it work. "Good enough (for now)" seems to be the mindset of...well I'm not sure honestly (devs, directors, management, big stockholders?)
I genuinely appreciate the new pdth style running animations so much, because it gives it that little bit of a cinematic flair that pd2 was missing.
I know this is weird but I’d unironically enjoy your voice analyzing “I have no mouth and I must scream”
the fact i've gone 400 hours into deep rock galactic with 0 voice chat interactions, yet thousands of text chats should be an easy indicator to how important an in game text chat really is.
throwable that hard counter certain special enemies could make them more useful instead of some being clear winners
title flashbanged me because never would i have thought you'd know that book
Can't believe I didn't comment on a Knowley video yet.
Man, I love your vids. I stopped playing Payday 3 a month in but continue to follow along on each of your content upload.
To keep track with what's being worked on, but mostly for your dry, subtle humor, quality scripts lacking any kind of bloat, and soft, comforting delivery of said script.
I really enjoyed you taking the time to separate devs from the art team, and actually giving props where it's due.
You seem always fair in your judgement, while keeping that passion for the payday franchise through and through.
Thanks for sticking around dude, and please keep making vids ❤
Appreciate it!
I had almost no issues with payday 3 from a technical standpoint, me and my friends kind of just played all the heists had our fun with it and I have no reason to want to come back.
It's worth noting that personally for payday 2, I only returned to the game after about 3-4 years afterwards once the game was filled with loads of content to see all the stuff I missed
Man you didn't have to out me with that australian ping comment.
When i play a l4d2 server thats accross the globe with 199+ ping do i give up? NO. Do i ever back down? NO. NEVER GIVE UP
The problem tho with PAYDAY 3 is that unlike PAYDAY 2 the more ping you have, the more unplayable it will be. Trust me, rollbacks and teleporting because of ping isn't fun at all...
Goddamnit Kknowley, my ping isn’t THAT bad. Then again, for your next challenge run, send Yelwonkk down under lol
i have no medic bag and i must heist
we shoulda had a feature-length payday movie before this slop
Seeing the most basic of features get added MONTHS after release really tells how much extra time this game needed in the kitchen
I have watched and followed you for a long time a few years. I have to ask at this point is their anything else that you love that you are just as passionate about that isn't such a demoralising thing to cover.
I honestly would enjoy to see you cover other games as well giving you an eventual out should the entire payday franchise collapse if things come to the worst.
thank you for your coverage sir.
At this point I'm starting to believe what I once read: Payday 3 is a lost cause and they're not really making any effort because they only want to release DLC that they have to release by contract and once that's done they'll stop supporting the game, which It would make all the sense in the world.
I do hope they can bring the game to a decent point and get the amount of players up. I just need a reason to play once I get my main PC hooked up again. I kinda just wish they kept the core of what Payday 2 was then got the modern AAA game look/feel. The game looked/felt amazing but there’s not that much substance to it, like why am I trying to get money/exp?
I wish a game I have been playing stops nerfing every goddamn thing and making the game harder and less fun especially for solo players.
Was not expecting the LilGuyG cameo
I feel like the party up function best summarizes Payday 3 so far. Good feature, but not fully implemented. It's like the game is always going two steps forward and one step back.
I have no bag and I must heal
New voicelines were also added, but for some reason that wasn’t brought up in the change log. I don’t understand why that would happen. It seems like it’d be super simple to just write down every change you make, then sit down and make a list of all the changes between each team of devs. But what do I know.
i have massive hope for the first liek 2 months they could change the game but once helldvers came out i realized imo that theyre not doing enough at all, tbh they need to pull a cyberpunk asap
Thumbnail looks more like "My mouth was covered in clay and I must scream"
At this point, the only way to save this game that I see - make it free to play
I can't really be excited about changes that feel like I paid full price for a beta, or should have been there in the first place (especially if it was in PD2), which is how I see many of these updates. But content is really the culprit keeping me and my friends from playing. It needs a bucketload of new content if its going to pull us back to playing with any regularity. That said, its in all of our libraries, so if it gets good at some point, we may check it out, but we've moved on from watching for it too closely at this point, and won't likely be the first folks back when/if it gets its act together, we'll hear about it in passing and either be like, "cool" or shrug.
Honestly, they should just open up the mod workshop and give us an SDK. It would let people thrive and give the game a chance to grow a lot more during content droughts. This will help when they abandon the game after year 1.
"Ability to enter the van had been reinstated."
WE ARE SO BACK, BOYS
I feel like at this point, even if they do somehow manage to dig payday 3 out of the grave it’s in, all the hype would of died down and really only people who are still actively following the games progress or people who didn’t know about all the problems that release gave us, will be around to see the the game in it’s actually finished and actually good state.
I bought payday 3 after a month or so of release (always online difficulties at the start were something i 100% predicted, and was 100% correct on happening, even said it on your own videos), and i think the game is fun. But i'm going to have to say one of the negatives i had at the time was that it feels like payday 1. I know. Alot of people adore payday 1... but there's a reason people keep playing payday 2 compared to 1. Payday 1 had a ton of problems, it was extremely unforgiving, not just to new players, but to everyone. Which might sound good, but it really never felt like there was improvement because of it. Yes, i learned where things were, yes i could get to them faster, but if something went wrong just a small bit, it was game over. An ally misses a vital shot on cloaker, an enemy runs inbetween a shot meant for a dozer's visor, etc. etc. all the little things out of your control felt too punishing.
It's a problem in payday 2 but only when you're on the hardest difficulties. Problem is that it feels like it's a problem at all times in payday 3, like it did in payday 1.
That said, i also warned people that when the game came out it was gonna be in a horrible state. I know they had a ton of time to work on it, but they were coming off a horrible situation with money laundering, their company almost went bankrupt, guarantee they had to fire people, probably ended up having to hire new people, and to add to that... payday 2 sucked when it came out. That's the thing. Payday 2 wasn't good when it came out. i remember hearing so many people complaining about it. It's like tf2 in that regard. Most people forget that before they started adding cosmetics, tf2 was an abject failure struggling to keep player count going. The same was true for early payday 2, and it took a ton of work to fix it.
I don't want the return to the death sentence one down BS from payday 2, but i will fully admit i want the rpg-logic, unrealistic meme-y gameplay elements from payday 2 back. Payday 3 feels boring right now, even though the gameplay itself is smooth. It's missing what made payday 2 great, and alot of that has to do, believe it or not, with the arcadey way payday 2 was compared to pd1 and pd3.
I will say the grenade does seem like a step in what i, personally, would consider "the right direction". but i fully admit my opinion is subjective.
I lay in wait.
4:03 feel that’s to prevent Reddit complaints about “why am I put in a high ping lobby?”
Honestly, I'd probably be one of the players of this game if it didn't feel like my pc was struggling to run the tutorial. But with everything that's happening, it's honestly quite a wild ride that this game is still active but with so many features that were either half-baked or probably ignored until they were forced to address them. I wonder how much stuff was mandated by deep silver and how much of it is Starbreeze trying to course correct, but that's my optimistic view on it.
i really hope that payday 3 becomes a better game
It's simple, previous social features were done through steams backend. The pd3 team didn't need to have any talent for design in this area since the folks at valve did it already and you can tell they paid no mind to it's importance in a COOP game. I also blame cross platform and the mandate to use Starbreezes backend infrastructure instead of valves.
The continued rollout of added animations just proves we're still in beta release.
Payday 3 was THE ONLY game ive ever pre-ordered, because I absolutely LOVED Payday 2, and heard so many good things about Payday 3 from content creators. I loved it at first, the menu was pretty crap, but y'know I thought it was probably just a low-priority thing, some devs are pushed just a bit too fast and hard so maybe a fully cropped out menu and GUI hadn't been made yet...
I started playing it the literal hour it came out, and for the first few hours it ran perfectly fine, apart from me having to play on lowest graphics to avoid lag (which wasn't a me issue, it got fixed after a couple updates), but after a few hours of launch, the game became unplayable with the long as hell waiting times, which just made me want to play it more.
Finally, after god knows how long, that all got fixed and I got straight back into playing it.... But after just a few more hours I finally realized that, really that was it, there weren't really that many guns, not many heists and all the heists were the exact same every time, no matter how many times I played them, there was maybe one thing in two heists that would ever change, and the cops were pretty easy to deal with, that and the no chat in the menu, the still crappy GUI and other bugs and unfinished things started to really get to me, including the fact that there was only really 3 good guns that were a strong cut above the rest, and certain perks that you absolutely had to run to have a good time...
After that I stopped playing, and really unless they do a big overhaul of everything, I still probably wont come back, and I know a large group of people who feel the exact same way as me on this. its gotten to the point now where we just dont like the game anymore, which sucks because Payday 2 is still in my heart as one of my top 3 favorite games.
KNOWLEY... I CAN JUMP IN THE BACK OF THE VAN NOW?! YASSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I have no ARGHHHH and I must NEED A MEDIC BAG!
the Kknowley Depression arc continues
Payday is in the same boat as cod, they celebrate putting the bare minimum into the game, and then act like that’ll save their game, mw2 almost killed the entire franchise because of this, so then they released mw3 which saved it for the time being, I really hope payday3 really releases something that brings everyone back, I hopped onto payday 2 cuz it was a goofy heisting game where you could do some crazy stuff for the fun of it or being super serious just cuz you could
With all these Payday 3 updates I can't wait for the new Payday 2 DLCs!
With the fact that they've switched stories, sorry to tell you they won't. Payday 2 story is over in terms of development
@@killerytbfr5899 I mean at this rate they either go bankrupt or return to Payday 2, didn't stop them before, so why would it stop them now? Something something no more paid DLC
You know if these were weekly updates and the game were in Early Access, I'd probably be happy.
I gave up with Payday 3 after 4 months, my opinion, they should abandon all hope with Payday 3, remaster Payday 2 so it looks pretty and keep adding content to that.
At the pace these updates are going, I might consider redownloading the game after update 10. Might finally be enough stuff to justify it.
theres a good reason i havent touched the game in a long ass time. there hasent been a new heist to play since NOVEMBER for me and there hasent been a new heist in general since DECEMBER theres just nothing to do
Update 6 - AKA the 6th fail state of PD3 and nobody plays this
Payday 3 having no melee weapons was already a bad start but no game chat no variety of heavy weapons and barely any mask customization killed the game instantly.
Honestly, I have no faith in Payday 3 being a consisitently worthwhile thing to boot up for 99% of people for multiple years.
Payday 2 got and stayed popular because it had enough missions and veriaty in their types by the time it started getting popular popular. The issues casuals had got sanded off over time in ways and others stayed as part of the charm like the crimenet map. I genuinely think for what they wanted to go for the stealth heisting and hostage taking with the pseudostealth and unmasked interactions are great and the best bit of the game, but not everyone wants to grind stealth all day and while the wave shooter aspects of it are great the smaller scale of 3 compared to 2 (which is obvious because why would they port everything over right away that would be dumb unless they wanted to make this like overwatch 2) fits better with the campaign setup.
Honestly Payday 3 as it is now feels like the best bits of a better single player focused game repurposed for the tacked on multiplayer sidemode.
I look forward to summer 2026 when it might be worth playing
By the time chat is added gta 7 will be released
To me the reason I don't have much fanfare over PAYDAY 3 updates is because the game feels like it's BELOW release grade. I'll have fanfarre when it feels like it's got enough for launch, and even then, it'll be a "hey, I heard it's decent now".
And I say this as someone who checks the updates to see what's up, because I do genuinely want to play the game, but I'm not holding my breath with how ass Starbreeze is at handling the game.
they had something incredible with payday 2 and the lead up to payday 3, man
how did they fumble this hard
We are seven months into this game and we've had one heist added through DLC and two missions ported over from PD2 with a handful of weapons. Meanwhile, Payday 2 managed to get three new heists, the Infamy 1.0, the Death Wish difficulty, a Halloween event, two weapon packs, the Courier pack, and a Christmas soundtrack. I'm sorry, but some weapon inspect animations and a throwable is pathetic.
i’ll answer that question for you: it is already too late to turn things around.
Given games like No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 exist, I really doubt it's impossible, but it feels like the dev team doesn't want to go in the right direction for some reason
@@SirBinding these games had much larger studios behind them, didn’t ever dip to 300 players and had a significantly better update cadence
@@SirBinding this is copium, those games were bad at launch but were both trying to push the entire medium forward (and eventually succeeded, depending on who you ask). this game would be like a 7 or 8/10 if it was complete at launch, nobody will care about this title if things like DRG and helldivers exist
@@martinszymanski2607 Nah. Neither of them were trying to push the entire medium foward. They were both feature poor and had significant technical issues. Neither did anything to push it forward, doesn't matter who you ask. Creating a subgenre of loser youtubers who make tier lists of cyberpunk content in YT shorts is only revolutionizing content slop.
The big difference is that Payday is a live service multiplayer game. Without a playerbase it is screwed. It's just like the Battlefield 2042 launch. You have a very small window to fix a broken multiplayer launch, and Starbreeze missed it by a mile. The small indy game about flying around procedurally generated planets is going to get more of a chance than the coop shooter, because a coop shooter you can't play coop with is worthless. A story based RPG is going to get more opportunity to fix it's godawful bugs and shite release because underneath it, it's still a story based RPG game with a story to enjoy. But the coop stealth/horde shooter game? No, because nobody wants to spend their time grinding out status symbol cosmetics in a game that nobody plays.
@@kalreynolds5829 no man's sky is a space game at a scale that was completely unheard of in 2016 and cyberpunk is a huge leap for open-world RPGs in general. no idea what "content slop" you're watching but maybe you should sort that out lol
Thiugh it isnt a huge update it does make me hopeful for the future since this update does feel very "payday" to me i just hope they can recover the players they lost in the beginning
In PD2, I was a Socio ICTV frenzerker. Seeing the shock grenade gave me the same feeling as the panic skill, but it was also a reminder that PD3 was not built with players like me in mind.
I was excited for PD3, but seeing how they completely removed the playstyle I love, in addition to the horrid launch, I can't help but feel apathy towards the game. The updates the game is making just isn't doing anything to make a player who felt burned actually care about the game.
Call it a skill issue, I find PD3 to heavily punish combat now with both health and armor being a finite resource and requiring half your skill points to barely rectify, I just can't play knowing eliminating enemies, arguably the main gameplay loop, is cutting into the amount of time I can spend on the map before I have 0 armor and a slither of health.
Imagine being Australian. Couldn't be me. No... not at all
update looks good, one thing i'm still hoping they do soon is let steam players upgrade their game edition, because i'm not paying the full price for the new DLCs no way at all.
So I still haven't played the newest heist
To me it seems like in the news they promise big changes and then we see small changes at best, or things that go in a whole other direction than what they said they would do. I am a diehard payday fan and I haven't touched this game since February.
In fact I haven't touched pd2 either. I've just been playing Hitman and Thief Sim 2 instead.
Basic features after 7 months lets gooo
Back to payday 2
Its sad to see this game struggling to get the most basic features while also needing more actual content. Shoutout to the 250 players keeping this game alive
my mind when i think about how they coming up with ideas: 15 ppl are talking what new update should include and how to make these thingies but it takes so long to get everyone agree that everyone after 2 hours say "fuck it, i agree with you"
my class when they are asking about going to school trip: so maybe we go there? or maybe there?
everyone: yea sure whatever
but after that teacher dont know what to do so shes doing nothing
yea, in ovrkl HQ situation really looks in my mind like situation in my school, that just sounds soo childish
I'm happy to see that they actually cared to change the animations, I kept saying that the game looked like a cheap chinese COD ripoff. still holding out on a purchase though, i'm a believer in this games future glow up.
It'll be too late to save the game when they don't implement peer to peer networking before Deep Silver pulls the plug.
That book is so fucking good btw.
Payday 3's launch and subsequent development has felt very similar to Victoria 3's honestly. Rushed development, the game comes out in a completely broken state, and the devs have to spend months just making it playable. In a couple of months to a year, the game will finally be in a state it should have been in at launch, but the game's chances have already been squandered. Every fix is a "yeah, this is better but still not great." instead of actually making full fixes. They're just in damage control mode. The problem with that is, most of the time games don't survive damage control, at least not without falling into complete irrelevancy. At least with Victoria, the game it was a sequel for was much more outdated, and hadn't been updated in years. Payday 3 doesn't even have that, since Payday 2 is a fantastic game, with incredible content and a great modding scene. Maybe some day, publishers will start realizing that there can only be so many games that make a comeback after a terrible launch, and people are getting very sick of these broken launches.
I don't think there's a polite way to say this, but I have *never* cared for using the weapon inspecting. There's never time to use it.
So knowing we aren't getting features that truly matter, it feels frustrating to me. I know enough of game development that not every person works on the same thing. There's one or two dedicated devs who tried adding what they could, but...the inspection is *only* viable if your mask on but not having any alarm going off. Is it to just twiddle your thumbs because your build means you're not helpful while your team does stealth??
Having health and armor be literally limited while also having limited free time or even endless assault waves, why on earth would I stand around looking at my gun, even if it looks cool?
im not trying to side one or the other but during payday2 main lifetime with all the big heists and what not they were a very small studio. not payday 3 they are dealing with what every big studio deals with. the dev teams for each part of the game are 100% put in a room by themselves in a different part of the building. so its either walk across the building to qa then sound then design to warn about these problems or just wing it. its why live service will not work with fragmented teams in a building. they need teamds members souly to going between teams that are good at this teams cant respond to each others work if there stuck in there tablets with other devs in there department only.
NGL I hope to see operation medic bag lasting 1-2 years and if we're being honest, the game should have probably been delayed that time instead of being a live service beta testing like it seems to be now. Each update is a drip feed and after a while i think the game will be ok... though will they do enough to win us back? I think we need alot more free content for the game.
TBH i have somewhat given up on the Matter of Payday3, i'd much rather Play Payday2 or anything else honestly instead of PD3.
They say they listen to the Community and to some extend they do but they still do 85% of the Stuff they think is important und then end up doing only half of it which is blatantly obious when you take a look at the party up feature. :/
I don't know if I agree with voip. Services like Discord and Teamspeak are so common place, last I checked Steam voice parties also are still around, I think it's reasonable to not bother with the R&D for it when a 3rd party service that pretty much everyone uses is going to do the job better.
however that stance doubles down on the ludicrous oversight to not have a text chat.
Personally, yeah. I'm long passed acceptance. They messed it up. I think the only Payday 3 I want to see anymore is the outfits be brought to Payday 2. Heck, do one better, port the Dead Game hoodies to Payday 3 and swap them out for the fantastic outfits. Shoulda just ported 2 to Unreal or a full remaster.
i checked the steam charts
on the plus side this update made the player count double the highest amount the game has had within th last week
you wont be out of a job if you beat payday 2 as gordon freeman
It feels like sunk cost fallacy to play the game now
I'd pay for more content, but that's the bleeding edge for me, I need more content! I would love more weapons, skill TREES, build variety, etc, but I really really need more maps! I've played them all at least 20-50 times and I'm bored now. Modifiers aren't going to shake things up for me because ill be going through the exact same motions regardless 🙃
How much water are you gonna boil? Maybe go short and just info? Expanding video duration to fit advertisment in?
