Thanks for making the video, it definitley helps us address the concern. As a pr who is sponsoring my wife outside of Canada, I need to travel to the US for business trips for a couple month and I called IRCC and they've confirmed that it's totally okay for me to leave. However, you'll need to be physically present in Canada when you submit the application.
Hello Suyash... texting just to inform you that you are a Hero :) i watched all your videos... took all your instructions seriously and after 3.5 months got AOR and Biometric request for my spouse... Thank you so much. Keep up the good work.
Hi Suyash! Your videos have helped me tremendously. This whole process has given me so much stress and anxiety... and I can't believe I'm this close to finally living with my husband without having to worry about visits! I have a question regarding the topic of the video. I am married to a Canadian citizen and we have applied for Inland Sponsorship seeing as I was in Canada as a visitor when we applied and I stayed in Canada for as long as legally possible (visitor stay + extended stay). A week ago I had to return to my home country, Argentina, due to my extended stay expiring, and my husband came with me because, after all, we got married to be together. We are in the final steps of the sponsorship process (already sent the Quebec undertaking application, medical exam got approved). I was wondering if you knew if it's okay for my husband to be outside Canada at the time of approval, when I receive COPR if all goes well. I keep reading different things but never from the Canada website as they never mentioned this. Please help me, I'm so worried... on our flight to Argentina he got very sick due to motion sickness and I'd feel awful making him have to fly back to Canada by himself (it would be his second time traveling, first was coming here with me). Thank you so much in advance if you happen to read this!
My question goes yet another direction. Bringing my wife and her daughter on a visitor visa, then applying inland for sponsorship. What I am curious about is having a holiday from my chilly Canadian winter. I normally like to visit somewhere warm at the end of winter, for a break from that long cold end of the season. So, is there some possibility to continue doing this once they are here? I tend to want to assume we would be allowed to leave for around the same amount of time, while also facing the possibility of having to answer some question about why we are applying for residency while also travelling abroad together.
Hey Sayush, could you please do a video oh how to submit webforms for spousal sponsorship application. I submitted my husband's application through my PR portal and want to submit a webform
What if we twist the scenario, can the principal applicant travel from the country they are being sponsored from to Canada where the sponsor is living while the application is in progress?
Yes, I was surprised to learn that your aor status acknowledges that sponsorship is underway. That grants some implied status and makes the visitor visa process decision much easier. Also, if you are applying for an extension on visitor status, it is not necessary. From what I understand, the implied status grants an extended visit with some other approval. So, it is much easier.
after getting the Copr ,can the principal applicant come to Canada apply for pr card to be mailed to another address in canada ,can he/she leave for a few weeks and are they going to be allowed back into Canada without the copr?
Thanks Suyash for another informative video. I (as a PR) did my spouse's outland PR sponsorship application through the online portal, by entirely following your videos and instructions. My wife has now received her CPR and the visa and is traveling this month to be with me in Toronto. Extremely thankful to you for all the information shared through different videos. You simply rock man. Good wishes to you and your spouse for your life together in Canada. Just wish to share one little info for the benefit of others too- I submitted the Spouse's PR application online in December-end in 2021 and thereafter had one trip to India and stayed there for 4 months (Feb 2022-June 2022). What I can tell from my personal experience is that this long stay in India, in my case didn't impact negatively on the spouse's PR application. But I know this could be an exception and its perhaps better to make the duration of the trips shorter :). Good luck everyone.
Can my wife who I am sponsoring visit me in Canada? Before we were married, her visitor visa was denied because they did not believe she would return to her country, she was only coming for 2 weeks on her vacation from work so that she could meet my family
Hi Suyash, I am guru currently living in Montreal Quebec, Thank you so much for what you are doing!! I have a question, I have received my CSQ to live in Montreal and I have applied for PR, submitted all the documents. I still didnt receive any confirmation my IRCC but I have to travel to india this december for my marriage and planning to stay for 2 months, will there be any problem, could you please let me know or could you please share me the link where i can find these details, thanks!
Hi, is it okay for an outland applicant to travel to Canada on a visitor visa (already approved) to meet the spouse (sponsor) while the PR file (outland application) already in progress. And if the applicant get passport request for the PR application while still in Canada. Would there be any issue? How IRCC gonna address this situation. Status of the sponsorship file- Eligibility in progress, biometrics and medical completed, background not started.
Hello Satnam, did you find a solution to this problem. Kindly share if you do... I am also wondering how passport submission is going to be possible for me if i am to go visit my husband in Canada whiles waiting for PR.
Can principal applicant travel to canada on visit visa while Outland application is in progress? Is this a good idea? Chances of visitor visa accepted ?
Bro, I need to apply study visa with my sowp visa. Can u help me with this. I got my LOA from the college for sep intake, but till now I have not applied for visa for both of us. Can u help me with my process. Like SOP and our application ( me and my spouse).. ?
Hi sir.. wanna ask about PPR request.. I only received one email for myself.. my dependent child is with my application.. does the passport request letter applies for both of us? Pls advise.. or any idea.. thanks much.
What if the sponsor and the principal applicant are staying together and got married here in Canada. Can they both travel outside Canada for 2 months after submitting the application. I have PR and she is on work permit. We cannot postpone the trip as it is my younger sister’s wedding. Any leads on this would be appreciated.

Hii Suresh hope doing good. I had followed your all videos and submitted my spousal permanent application on 27th May 2022 I have not received Aor till now and during the process I had applied for tourist visa which was rejected due to significant ties in Canada I had mentioned about the outland application. Usually how many days it takes for Aor to generate. Looking to hear from you soon.
Hey, we also submitted our PR application on 20th August. I didn't quite understand why your visitor visa got rejected? Do you think we should apply for visitor visa while our application is being sponsored?
My wife is in canada and she has sponsored me for PR ( m living in canada ) .... unfortunately she has to visit her father, here in India, who is suffering from cancer disease. And she is planning to visit for 2 months. Can it affect ours outland PR sponsorship application...or is this reason for visit sufficient enough to convince about longer duration of stay.
Hi. I got my PR in Feb’22. I came back to India in May’22 for my marriage. We got married in July’22. I am still in India and wanting to submit my wife’s file for spousal sponsorship. Can I submit it while I am in India? Pls confirm.
If I was you, I would apply for a visitor visa for your wife to come to Canada. This will allow for an inland application of the sponsorship, cutting the wait time in half and allowing her to visit you here for a six month maximum. The information required is the same, but a little bit less. The online application portal through ircc is advantageous, and will not require forms to be filled. Just prepare your letters and pdfs, compile informations, compress and necessary documents with the free online tools, and bring her to my country (Canada) for a quicker process, friend.
