That's the one thing many of us need to work on: Backing up. I plan to take my Rover onto the nearby military base, which is pretty much empty on weekends, and bring out the orange cones.
@@arbucklesadventures6784 Glad to hear that. What do you think of installing a rear view camera on the roof rack, above the galley hatch? Or on the license plate holder? Worth the expense?
@@arbucklesadventures6784 i'm a retired truck driver, grew up around trucks, late father in-law was a truck driver, 2 brother in-laws are,, backing up isn't hard, use your mirrors, go slow, try a 53 ft trailer in a tight lot with a ka-zillion other trucks backed in and parked every where , with very little room to move, and, do that in the dark, pouring rain with little sleep, if you can park a 70 foot long vehicle without hitting anyone else or another truck, plus be backed into the dock correctly, then, backing up your camper is a cake walk
@@arbucklesadventures6784 i hope you know i wasn't trying to be condescending,, i was trying to convey the stresses and challenges of what truck drivers go through, i like your camper, we have a 6x14 cargo trailer we made into a camper, been looking at intech's toy hauler, the big 1, i can't remember the model name, we goatv riding up in ocala national forest, plus we camp up there when it cools down, living in florida is HOT
Not at all! I took it at someone telling me "you'll get it" and giving me words of incouragement. We absolutely love the Luna. Been tent camping far to long. We took a quick overnighter last night to escape the trick or treaters. Watched movies, popped popcorn and were back home by 8am 😄
