This was so much fine. I see a project in my future tomorrow. Just fun with color, a palette knife a brush and spray bottle. Sounds like heaven. Thank you!
I hope there's someone who lightens your day as well. This was so much fun to watch (and learn). Your voice is so calming. Thank you for doing all this work for us to help us become better artists. I really appreciate you.
Absolutely loved what you did today! When you said "let's go nuts" I almost fell out of my chair, lol. I'm definitely going to go nuts 🐿️ thank you so much!
Oh wow! I’ve watched the entire video…..you are clever. I see your superior talent in the color choices, balance and what appears to be carefree placement. I hope mine comes out half as good!
First of all I want to say thank you for helping me back to painting, for giving your time to teach us all, for being fun and sometimes quirky which is what makes you 'You' . I feel I might have the confidence to try this, it is a great painting ! I hope you know how well loved you are Ellen I wish you strength in all you do Thank you again xxx
Hi Ellen, awesome, picture!!! I finally water painted the blue bells, the look like a 3rd grader did them... And kinda shubby... I'll keep trying, thank you for your advice, hope to have a magical twisting hand like your one day. . Ain't giving up!! Lol enjoy the rest of your evening 💌🥰🙃❤️
I don’t like abstract… but this one is pretty! Can you please include the name of that ‘special’ blue in your description? I don’t know how to say it, I’m not familiar with the name so I’d like to see how it’s spelled. Thanks!
I don’t know for sure if it’s the blue you are asking about, but she shows using a Holbein color called Verditer, but she pronounces it “Ver dee ay”. I had the hardest time figuring out which color she was using because she pronounces it incorrectly. I did dm her about it, but as she says, she’s an Aries and doesn’t like to be told what to do!
I especially loved what happened when you sprayed and the colours blended and washed together. Very cool!

I've used a palette knife to scratch into wet paint, like for tree trunks or branches, or on rocks, instead of using a credit card.
Beautyful 😍🙌🙌🙌...👋👋
Very nice
💕 Love
I wish you lived next door!

Holy moly your tape just came right up without tearing! Was that just scotch tape or something else?

@@andyrite100 lol Yes, that’s the word. Doesn’t seem to be a common blue so I’m not familiar with it. It’s a nice color. Thanks for letting me know!
It is beautiful! I bought it some months ago and use it often!
@@andyrite100 Do you use it for sky (can’t remember if she used it for the sky in this painting), and what sort of things do you use it for?
@@R_H21 yes, i use it for sky and water sometimes and also mix it with other blues, and sometimes pinks or reds to make shades of lavender or purple.
