Could you please do this on the panasonic lumix fz82, Ive followed the instruction you have listed I am unable to access the service menu. Kind regards
Would you kindly consider a video showing how to best clean and refresh the rubber psrts of the camera chassis (the viewfinder 'hood' in particular - I noticed two micro screws there on my FZ10002 - is it recommendable to detach the hood for cleaning?). Also which is best to use - a wet wipe, soap, any solution, and what not to use - at the risk of destroying or deteriorating the rubber?
Graham, I’m trying to get the shutter count on an FZ300, but I can’t get the screen shown in your guide of the service manual. I followed step by step. I did get several pages of other charts with numbers. Some said Zoom, SD card etc. I can’t figure out why this doesn’t work for me. Any ideas? …Thank you!
the UP button on the dial which is the one on a '12 o'clock position. Use a clock as a reference, the down button is the one on "6 o'clock" position, the left on 9 o'clock position, the right one is on the 3 o'clock position.
Wow, what a pain. Is the procedure the same for a Pany DMC-LX7 ? I'll probably make new combinations of 4 letter words when I try this. I'm thinking of selling the camera on eBay. I've hardly ever used the camera and would like to brag about the low shutter count. My DMC-ZS19 is fine for what I like to shoot. Great video, thanks, Neill
How on earth did you discover this? Amazing. I'm going to check out the hidden mysteries of my FZ1000! Thank you. (edit: No firmware ver. 2.21 for you?)
Thank you for posting this Graham! I always wanted to know how to get this information so this is great to know.
Most valued post and Information. Graham, THANK YOU.
Thank you very much
great clear and understandable - not what Panasonic seemed to think about
finger acrobatics though!
Very thorough and useful video. Thank you :-)
Thank you sir. Best wishes from Turkey.
Thank you too

What is the PSVCNT counter indicating please?
It's how many times the camera shut off automatically. So after you let it rest.

I tried this several times with my FZ-200 but can't get into the service map with the camera shutter counter information.
thanks !
Hmm, I can’t get this to work in either my FZ1000 or 330.
Digit trouble at the 3 finger fiddle methinks.
