Greetings from Spain. The new Spanish Dobloon series coins are jewels. The Carthusian Horse depicted in the coin is a prestigious lineage of purebred spanish horses, one of the oldest ones registered in the world, dating back to the 1400s.
I won't be picking these up, but I am very, very much looking forward to their basically announced but still unnamed silver bullion coin. I would absolutely love to stack some modern silver Pieces of 8/Spanish dollar with a great security feature.

Very few of us can get wholesale prices, or can sell at full retail while avoiding the massive fees ($2450 sold price on ebay means $325 paid in fees). It is a very different calculation compared to a buffalo or maple that costs less up front and is very liquid to sell to any coin dealer at any time.

I love these. Collecting them all. The back years are running 20-25 percent over sot. The new ones are at 10 % over if you are lucky. I got the bull at 10 % over at fun show last January. Thanks stormy, for verifying what I already knew.. these coins are a home run.😊
Spanish doubloons are a good investment. In Spain it is said that the print runs of 15000 or 12000 are the legal maximum limit, but that they are manufactured in batches as they are sold. At the end of 2023 the Toro will stop selling, whether they have reached 15000 or not, so they will not be left over. That's good for investors in the Toro/Bull.

I was wondering if if you would be interested in selling a couple of them if you have extras and what the cost would be? I like these Spain bullion. I bought the 1 oz gold bull last Fall, it came with scuffs and scratches, had to send it back. The seller had another but it had scratches too so got a refund.
@@oseloseliro1609 The scratched coin came from the USA distributor of these. I do not know where it got scratched. The Spain coins are not handcrafted they are struck by machine using dies.

Toro- check bold precious metals. $2165 right now. I saw the Lynx recently at Kaigans which they are the importer of these.
The mintage on these is 12k for Lynx & Stallion. 15k for Toro.

That's because your dealer manipulated the coin. It is impossible for the FNMT to send a coin with scratches. This coins are handcrafted one by one.
