This one's from my Catch n Cook channel (that's now turned into my shorts channel - www.youtube.com/@briggsyshorts ), when I changed it over I saw this film and thought it should live on here. Turns out I don't have enough time to run a catch n cook channel and a catch and release channel so from now on both C&C and C&R films will go up here on my main channel and that other one ^ will be for shorts. Cheers to all of you for the ongoing support! Yew
Brother big Fan from Cyprus Island of Greece! Can you please make Greece subtitles too? ( Ελληνικά ) 🥰
You are so blessed to have some buddies like that! That's so rare and valuable! I mostly go alone which is nice too but to go with some good friends is on another level
Glad to see Danny is still heading out with you guys after the boat incident 🤣
The only gripe I have with this reel is the weight, but that goes with the size of the reel ruclips.net/user/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I brought this salmon fishing up in Oswego, NY. I coupled it with a Cabela's Whuppin Stick. I had no problem pulling in a 14lb salmon. I will probably use this for surf fishing this summer and downgrade to a 3500 series Battle II next salmon season to save my wrists. All of the operations are butter smooth and the bail is nice and thick and has a solid flip to it. Everything about this reel is sturdy and strong. The drag system held up to the salmon and was also super smooth. I did use a scale to set the drag properly before going out to the river and this worked out tremendously. A bunch of other guys on the river would hook up and snap almost immediately. Just because you have a good drag system doesn't do anything if you don't set it correctly.
That cooked trout was the cavy special 😂😂 great video Briggsy
So happy to see you posting more often these days!🤙
Love these boys being back together! Icons of the oz fishings world
Always a banger when Briggsy posts. Can't wait to try salt water fishing :D
Missed your regular posts Briggsy, glad your back and hope life is been kind to you
WE LOVEE WHEN U CATCH AND COOK
Getting home and seeking Briggsy posted is the best
My pup has been watching you boys since he was born. He is 7 now . highly trained dog to never bark. When he hears Briggsy hookups and a hockey goal. Gottaet the notice something
Good fish mate trout looked tasty as good work
the OGs you yell "Briggsy" when he hooks up. you know exactly how he is feeling
HOW?! How have i never been sea fishing but have watched all these videos in one week 😂😂😂😂
I found the channel through the shipwrecked boat video, love your style mate these videos give me life at work ❤
Tip for dry wood: dead sticks still on the tree usually are pretty dry even after lots of rain
One of the best fishing channels.
great video Briggsy! :)
Yumoooooo send some fillets down this way mate :D
Best way to feed your mates fishing bro. Good stuff!
greetings, coming again from senior Indonesia to listen to the video, thank you very much for the motivation that we got in the video
RUclips makes total sense.. posted 1 minute ago.. 3 views.. 13 likes.. 5 comments.. 💀
Earliest I’ve been here, love your videos man!
Now this is what i call catch 'n' cook!!! From the sea to the fire!!
I would love to go fishing in the tropics one day.
i love watching these theyre always so genuine !keep at it !
awesome video bro, you should do a trip to PNG and chase some black bass, there basically mangrove jacks on steroids. It’s on my bucket list to do in the next few years.
Loved your tv interview this morning with the rod and reel
I really enjoyed the time-lapse bits. Thanks for the cool vid! cheers
Just 3 blokes eating a fish and I can’t stop watching with jealousy lol
Spot yg sedikit extreme dan hasil yg luar biasa di dapat👍
The shipwreck crew together again.❤️❤️❤️
Love ya work!
(slurp, slurp) I'm drooling at the mouth. I've always wanted to do that : catch and cook immediately and a coral trout - never had that.
that looked delicious !!
my mouth waters watching this
briggsy great video mate. when can we get a gear update video, it would be sick if we can see your new setups. thank you
Hey Mate, yep i've seen this comment a lot so i'll have to make a film going through my current setups. Yew!
First strike grouper fish, nice sir 👍
The fish looks delicious!
Timmy! 🙌🏽
All those rock climbing paying off 🤟
I aspire to do this. Planning to move to Aus when I leave uni.
beautiful mate
Yeah buddy!!!!🏴☠️👊🎣
Briggsy/ Dennis content is back! 🎉
I'm confused on the timeline. Weren't you on an island with 2 other guys for a 4 day fishing trip? We had 2 days of film from that, and now suddenly we're with Timmy on some other trip? #continuety
On another note, I'd love try a choral trout and especially cooked like that. Magic! 🤗🎣🍽
Hi Mate, yeah this is an old film that was on my catch n cook channel (that's now changed into a shorts channel), when i deleted it I thought it was worthy of being re uploaded to live on here. But yep we'll be back to the GT trip after this one!
Good mister😂😊
briggsy number 1 fisho
Bro we need more videos please ❤
It’s all the “the mission”. Don’t forget the mission.
Nice videos guys
Doesn’t get much better than that 🤙
Old Mate scoffed your trout.
You guys are so lucky with fishing im in the UK on the South Eastern Coast and our waters dont fish like yours does. And i love sea food. If i can get a good size Cod or Bass ill eat them but you guys have so many species and in abundence. Not keen on the snakes and sharks though.
Great brother... nice
Succes always👏👍
11:27 “OMG” you’re right..!!! It’s definitely cooking…😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That’s sick
Yewwwwwwe
Amazing video catch and eat your fishing nice
BRIGGSY!!
Nice trout briggsy
Big Briggsy's onto the catch and cook,, beautiful mate loving it 👌👌
Stoked you like it Mate 👍
Awesome video Briggsy!
Curious... how's your TD black gear holding up these days?
Hi Mate, I've still got a couple TD Black rods that I regularly use. This one - ruclips.net/video/1-SFALBtJhQ/видео.html and this one - ruclips.net/video/qMi7wpifpKI/видео.html both sick rods
I was washing off a bluefin in the same manner and a puhi paka ripped it out of my hands.🐉
I see you are still extremely careful with your rods unlike me, i just throw them in the back of the car and in a corner at home. I never wash them or prep them in any way and still only broken one and it was by highsticking and twisting the rod so my own faulth lol but i caught the fish so all good:) Great vid as usual so nothing new there:)
wow.. this is amazing. I am from bangladesh
👍
Looks like a good meal. I have the Certate 5000 and it's having many wind knots if it's windy. I use 2pe line. Do you have any idea how to prevent it? Thanks
Hi Mate, the Line and your rod are both important factors when trying to work out where windknots are coming from. You can have an awesome reel and dodgy line/rod and get a ton of knots. If your line and rod are both suitable and you’re still getting windknots it can be your technique on retrieve and casting, if you allow loose line on the spool (from the lure popping out on retrieve and you wind on slack line), and or if you cast too hard it can massively increase your chance of knots. In windy conditions if you use a lure that holds in the water the whole way back to you (keeping constant pressure on the line/giving a nice tight line lay) like a diver instead of popper or floating stickbait and then do a 70% strength, smooth cast, it can help alot 👍
@@Briggsy thank mate. From all the things you said, the only thing is me casting really strong many times. Actually I was thinking that it might be the problem, but with the twinpower almost never happened to me. anyway it feels stronger and smoother then the twin. Thanks
So today I went again, not to strong casts, but long ones. No problems at all.
I also got first nice fish on it, the reel feels really strong and having nice sound
Thanks again
Nice and flaky yumm
Fly fishing would be your thing 100%
Good to fly fish to network with certain people...the same as golf the people you get to network with are valuable and kinda the same type of people 💲, due to their own networks it pays off 110%
Hey bro love your vids, just wanted to ask for some advice, what you think of the saltist hyper v2 8ft pe 2-4 with a saltist mq 8000 setup for kingies n ect off east coast of Vic and southern nsw Eden,Merimbula n ect?
Sounds like a rad little setup mate, not sure how big they are/how much hurt you need to put on em but if PE4 is enough should be good 👍
Smashing video as always and meal obviously
... guys, please tell me again about your runners on the feet... I can't locate them online :(
Hi Mate, Dunlop Volleys, google that and they should definitely come up 👍
@@Briggsy now, I do have the second question..... where in europe we can get them or similar/equivalents? Thanks!!!
Hi Mate, not sure in Europe but volley.com.au/products/heritage-low-white-blue suss them out and see if they'll send it overseas. (make sure you get the original rubber soles ^ those are the proper rubber sole ones in that link)
@@Briggsy yo are amazing, thank you!!!
waiting for more crasssy sesions!!!
Sláinte chugat!
briggsy mate would do anything to have a fishing session with you or a trip with you
Noicee
Is that a diving lure ? How deep it dives ?
Lets fucking go briggsy !
Hi I just got into fishing and a really want a bait caster
Coral - trout
Re upload?
Hi Mate, yeah it was on my catch n cook channel but I've changed that over to a RUclips Shorts channel now and got rid of the films there. This one I thought was cool so put it up here to live on
I really enjoy your videos, you need to practice your fire making skills more often and you will get better. That fish was way over cooked. 10 mins max each side
Hopefully that wood wasn't drift wood... Really not safe to cook with
hi sir i am writing from adana bro do you have any old reeds unfortunately i did not get it when i said financial situation and earthquake bro please can you help us we are following you❤
13:09 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 you don’t even eat fish…!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you took the smallest bite ….😂😂😂😂😂 13:20 now that’s a guy who eats fish.
Love it but never rely on timmie for a lighter.....everyone should have their own plus a spare....growing up in Canada you risk your life not having fire options.....not as critical for you but still sucks going hungry or not being able to warm up in rain
One is none....
