And yet, Dan doesn’t teach Bruce Lee’s JKD. Because he can’t do it. He decided to mix a bunch of martial arts together and call it JKD “concepts” instead.

Well, he told Dan to take a few die hard students to his backyard gym to train. Bruce, in a phone call with Dan Lee (another student of his) thought that Dan was becoming quite stylized and put too much emphasis on heavy bag kicking. He thought Dan Inosanto was lacking the suddenness of movement that was needed. Lee also went on to say that something was bugging Dan. What was bugging Dan Inosanto in 1971?
