The extra length of fabric on the sides is good for when they are laying down it helps to prop the arms up some for those that have lymph nodes removed.

Thank you for posting this video. Double mastectomy pillows are so expensive to buy and very plain looking. Being able to make one for my daughter in pretty materials I feel adds a personal, loving touch to a device which will help my girl stay comfortable post surgery as a mother who's feeling pretty helpless and anxious right now.

Excellent ! I had made another pillow for myself from another video and it was huge ! I am small and made your pillow and it fits me perfectly ! I am have a double mastectomy in a few weeks and didn't want to have to buy one. So easy to make. ! Great !

I have been making ponchos for women who will or had mastectomies. I have that on my channel. I have started lining with a pillowcase for each side.
