The build from 4:08 to 5:00 really gets me choked up every time I hear it. Between the purity of the vocalists tones, the chord progression, and the constant runs the strings are doing throughout, it feels like hope, joy, and renewal. Edit: I just realized something about the progression. As Azeroth starts singing, the orchestra behind her plays the the chords in first inversion--most notably the 4 into the 1--for the first two bars. This gives a feeling of tentative hope but still a bit of tension. But as it moves into the final two bars, as part of the climax of this section, the chords "fix" themselves and are played in root position, giving the feeling of strength and purity.
The little snippit of Legends of Azeroth he snuck in at 1:41 is so cheeky, I love how there’s a nod to the past while the rest of the music builds its own identity.
It's not really Legends of Azeroth unfortunately. The only thing that is similar is the time signature (7/8), everything else is different, from the string ostinato, bass line, melody, tempo, progression, etc. To me it seems like a snippet of a more combat/action version of the World Soul Saga theme. The rendition at the beginning of the login music is indeed a take on the Legends of Azeroth opening march.
This is one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard. The final minute from 4:20 to 5:20 is superb, brings me goosebumps and a tear to my eye as it evokes a feeling of "goodbye".
@@kemsari9969it is definitely Azeroth either being born, or singing. Radiant Song includes two tracks with the same voice, and the radiant song comes from Azeroth herself. I already know I’m gonna bawl like a frickin’ baby at the end of this saga.
I keep coming back to 0:38. It really hammers home that we're fighting for the fate of something we've grown with for 20 years: our home. Give me an axe and let me charge into Renilash already.
@@MysteryMan159 I'm picturing so many things to this music. Reading so many things into it. It's such a great piece of music. This track truly excited me for this saga
The ending part from 4:00 sounds like we'll get a relive phase through 25 years of World of Warcraft with all ups and downs and characters and then.... rebuild azeroth? all gone? If this is gonna be played in a cinematic in "The Last Titan"... omg
The War Within: Hell, it's about time! Midnight: I am the Swarm! The Last Titan: We retake our homeworld! Mark my words, kids! This is the way, where it's all going.
"Champion, the Void Lord has been weakened, but I fear we have sustained severe damage ourselves. I will steer the Vindicaar into a collision course with the Void Lord! If I can channel enough of Azeroth's energy through the hull of the Vindicaar, I should be able to bring swift death to the accursed abomination. Remember us, Champion. Remember what was done here today. May Elune watch over you."
@@RexVenge95 If those will be Tyrande's or Velen's final words... I'll be more than hyped and shocked at the same time! Because that similar quote belonged to Tassadar and those were final words ever heard in basic StarCraft. This means Blizzard is really going back into its roots.
It gives me the feeling of one last stand to secure the world for future generations, so they might know a better future free from the shadows and villains of the past

4:20 love it, a build up like the 7th symphony of Bruckner
Beyond beautiful. The music team hit it out of the park once again. Hype building.
Adam went full send on this one. Masterpiece.
Hearing Azeroth singing at the end gave me chills. I'm so excited for this expac!!!!
No one said its Azeroth singing, it could be Thrall singing
C'est bien Azeroth qui chante, confirmé dans la quête lorsqu'on accède aux archives pour la première fois à Dornogal.

I could see something like that with it being an overshot and timelapse of vanillia to current and leaving us with a hint and teaser to the future
4:08 onward sounds like the music that'll play when Azeroth wakes up and the game ends

why does this sound like something i've heard before

You might have listened to Ring of Power ''Galadriel's theme'' :) they're both amazing.
It's kinda like the theme from the JJ Abrams Star Trek movie
Have you ever been on Space Mountain at Disney Land?
The old song they used for that ride has a very similar song structure.
