Thanks for getting Wayne on, it was great to hear him talking. I think he said more in this one video than the whole last year! Thoroughly enjoyed this one
tyler, couldnt agree more, nice bloke
"I never knew you had these"
'Yeah that's because I never get snatched out ;)'
BOOM Wayne dropping the truth bombs!
Ronny nice angle of oldmate pissing in the background 😂 19:07
Wayne is a legend.
Loved this episode, It was long and I was relaxed and happy through the whole thing, smiling with you guys. awesome!!
Ronny and Wayne and Torben great team as always keep showing the Q&A guys we learn a lot from the new upgrades and Mods
and it shows as part of the adventures that you need good mates to count on and great landcruisers as part of that great adventures.
Very nice truck! Simple (relatively) but very functional. I like the RTT even more now, the orange trim really brightens the interior.
Thanks for getting Waynes Bakkie on, a lot of good ideas. Keep up the good work Ronny & crew
Interesting look into Wayne's World! From his accent he's clearly been there for a good couple of years. Kwaai bakkie, Boet!
I like it. Not only are friends having a good time with friends, you all are making a RUclips video as well .
Loved this Video Ronny. Thanks for showing his "Bakkie". From fellow South African.
gotta love Ronny's Modified Vids!
Loving Wayne’s rig sooo good!!👍🏼👍🏼
Great Mod, Ronny and Wayne
Awesome, and nice additions to Wayne's rig.
Awesome, this will keep me going until episode 8!
Your truck has always been my favorite Wayne. Simple, light compared to the others. Don't add too much!
Hey Ronny loving these modified videos
I like the roof basket overhanging the front, looks mint, Waynes like sorry whats ur name again....
Awesome channel! Love your content Ronny! Didn't know 4wheeling was so big but this makes me want to get in.
Awesome video Ronny !!
Really keen to see the next phase of Wayne’s cruiser after he’s gone to the ally setup. Maybe a modified episode 44 part 2 :?
Bush trucks are badass. I love this channel.
this is the best! He needs his own show haha
Best review!! Thanks guys, keep it up
Great video Ronny. We did the gibb as well but this track is awesome! Like your cooking stuff too😎cheers mate
Just ordered myself the Frothie Holder. Nice bit of kit. Cheers
I had 2 late gen 3.0l TDi Hilux's SR5s, a manual then an auto, the shape before the current or latest gen 2.8s and found the same thing as Wayne, great daily driver, all round weekend warrior, but for bashing and heavy loading esp out on the farm the 70 was the go, (High Country) also the single cab was fine for the farm, but man I could not live with a single cab for longer or Overland touring. Pity they don't do a king cab instead, have to be a double or a troopy for mine. But awesome work, love the modified vehicle vids, also really like Wayne's low key approach to mods and what's needed over whats wanted, its why I am a fan of the 70s series V8s. Plus another reason I loved that Anne Beadell trip you guys did and esp because you had 4 x 70series on that trip.cheers🤘
Great video I’m enjoying to watch. Thanks Ronny watching from Philippine.
Nice setup!
Lekker Wayne , Moi bakkie and a nice setup
Legend has it straight after filming this they had some biltong and a lekka braai!
great to finally see Wayne and Sarah's set up. they probably need the quick set up RTT because Ronnie never gets to camp before dark LOL.
Hahaha well I won’t rule that reason out
Awesome truck
Ronny. You are still able to catch views with these 79`s. Looking forward for something different.
I love Wayne's new set up can we please have some more modified hiluxes thanks ???
Love the use of Bakkie now you talking SA language he he
Nice video thanks greetings from Holland Jan
Hi all, my 1st mod was a primary 30 micron fuel filter and a catch can then a clutch, exhaust,a remap for towing then a GVM to 3900kg etc,etc
Cheers Alain.(Perth)
Great thanks
Suppose to pick up my shogun in a week or so..and it all fell through.fucking crying..have to stick to my escort van ...😭..love your videos..great work..great people..great adventures..Steve UK England

Dit is a land cruiser nie a bakkie nie😂😂😂
19:04 old mate chuckin a piss hahahah
Baie mooi Bakkie bru! 🇿🇦
Excellent work fellas. looking forward to seeing the alu set up. Alu Cab rtt's are brilliant but really pricey, maybe a review in the future? Good bunch of mates Ronny.
After a good testing I’m sure I could get wayne to share his opinions on it 👍
Awesome video guys - funny you noted the GME UHF being quiet, I've got a GME TX3345 and everyone in my group complains of it being quiet (think we also found that on the Goldfields trip as well Ronny).....maybe something more to it than the hole size.
No issues with my Uniden UHF though, it always come through loud.
Great Off-Road Adventures - Graham Reinders I remember years ago in the CB’s they used to have what we called a spit pad in the microphone which was a bit of foam for those people who used to spray when they talked. We used to open the mic up and pull it out. Maybe they’ve put them back in
Meh, it just looks to me like a cheap mic. Not sure if it can be swapped for something better...
wayne youre a champ
what ever happened to Wayne? Haven't seen him on the channel in ages, such a legendary rig he could climb up anything
Great 👍🏿
Nice
Lekker man lekker
the 79 single cab might be old school , but they are an awesome tow vehicle and solid front axle
Little Wyano, funny just checking out some tube & the people you come across used to ride with talented boy even sold him one of my bikes (Kona stinky) great to see you out there haven fun mate haven't changed a bit. Have you introduced Ronny to Monkey sausage yet...lol...keep the shiny side up bloke.
We staked one of those kevlar tyres too, maybe the kevlar is not so good? Great work guys, love your videos and setups.
Great
I've had the same problem with the handset just disconnect from the unit and upgrade just the handset. 👍
Something strange going on in the background around 19:05???
Good vid! Ronny, any chance of doing a vid with a bit of background on all the guys? Where you all came from, how you got into all these fun and games?
Hell yea he's a chippie
About time for an update on his car isn't it?
What?? He’s MOVING to SWA?? We we losing the night time camp finder?
Great to see Wayne on!
Hahaha... that jerrycan is useful
The sealed water cooled alternator. Which one is it? Custom bracket? Amps? Additional modifications for the install? Tied into the stock coolant system with some "T"s?
perfect
LOL WTF LOL why isn't he wearing his plad hat with the ear flaps lol?, he did a awesome job on building his truck up 👏👏👍👍
I know right! I said to him where the hell is your hat?
Great video ronny, i cant help but notive the audio in this video was very quiet
Lekker bakkie boet!!
do a video series on wayne's aluminum fab work!
FINALLY! A RUclips video showing the inside of an the 63Q ARB Fridge (although extremely brief). That is the size I plan to go with in my trailer when that funding eventually sprouts from the money tree. Most folks I see on RUclips run the 50Q or two of the smaller 37Q.
If possible, could you do a little more in depth coverage on how much food/drinks can be packed into the 63Q?
NOBODY has done this (that I can find). Thanks!
I have done a video on fridge bs esky/cooler it’s shows a fair bit of the 60l in it
I have a 63. I'm in Phoenix, Arizona, and it is either in the back of my 80 series LC or my Power Wagon on their slide all the time. It is handy when your picking up groceries and it is +110* (43* C) outside. I can easily take enough food for over a weeks trek, and now with a FoodSaver (vacuum packed, or like Ronny says cyro'd err whatever), even longer. I did get the ARB bag for it, and TBH I'm not sure it helps all that much. There is a removable divider in the center of the basket, which is nice, a small 'shelf' above the compressor area at the rear that is a perfect size for an egg carton and maybe cheese or something that doesn't need to be quite as cold as what is in the chest. I have mine wired for both 12v and shore power because they will toast batteries, more from the repeated deep cycles than anything. Plan on solar and separate 'house' battery from your starter. I'd say you can get ~2 days run here in AZ before a marine battery is dead, or low enough the ARB will shut off. Other big recommendation, get a RV fridge battery powered fan to circulated the air in the box. It really helps to cool stuff down quicker and more evenly. 2 D cells will run one for over a month. I'm pretty sure Dometic makes these for ARB, and I've had mine now four years, and I do over 3000 miles/year on washboard dirt roads which shakes the hell out of everything. So far, she is still cranking away. Not sure where in the world you are, so hope this helps. Ping me back if you have more questions.
Ronny Dahl - would you happen to know which video that was in? Thanks!
Don Leamon - Thanks bud. I'm in NW Oregon west of PDX and we have pretty moderate temps up here usually 60F +/- 20 year round. Occasionally get a few days above 90F, but I wouldn't be in town, rather up in the mountains, or at the coast on those days.
My plan is to put the fridge in my overland/exped/adventure/kayak hauling trailer that I built about 7 years ago. I do have a Honda EU2000, but plan to run solar and a group 31 RV battery for this setup. Just tired of having to pack so much ice for two coolers for a week of fishing. I pack my Food Saver with me to vac pack fish fillets on those fishing trips. My plan is to pack the bottom of the fridge with frozen water bottles to make up any space that food isn't taking. This way I can trade out the frozen bottles with vac packed fillets as I go through the week.
Picture of my trailer here. The ARB 37Q and 63Q are the only two models short enough to fit inside the trailer, and be able to slide out with the tailgate down.

Lekker Bakkie wayne
"For tax reasons the cruisers really good" 😂 This is the truth hah
You Blokes have me laughing constantly... Ex-Pat Living in the USA these days... there is one thing that i miss the most about Australia, is four wheeling, camping and fishing with my mates. The constant Banter, taking the piss out of each other for all the mistakes and driving yet at the end of it all you’re all sitting around a campfire laughing about the day. You’re obviously Real good Mates... that’s what stands out in your video’s.
`
Sandy cape 🤙
Lets settle the battle, Bakkie, Ute, pickup, truck or stupid. the last one is a season 1 grand tour reference
Alu-cab brilliant idea BUT it’s time for bed, it’s pissing down rain, you’re soaked, only access is ladder you can’t stand up to get changed (although Wayne might as he short😁) so you have to lay down how do you stop your bedding etc from getting wet?
Water is wet fire is hot
We are looking at a rooftop tent and this one looks good. Could you tell us the brand and type? Cheers :)
Great video!
Who doesn't love a good ol v8 engine roaring its guts out?
Why do you have a separate winch and compressor vs a warn winch with built in compressor. Or what is your take on a winch with built in compressor
Can hear the south African in him. What a boytjie.
Good day
I have a single cab LC79 M/T, which is working on gasoline. My car has a 1GR-FE engine and I’m interested to increase its power and also to maintain a street and daily use.
I tried to get more info from the net but most of the subjects are talking about tacoma and tundra and I’m not sure if the they all have the same engine compartment dimensions.
I would like to add the follwing parts to my car
- air intake.
- Supercharger or procharger.
- Full exhaust system, from header till the rear muffler.
Also I’m not sure if I really need to add any more part such as ECU or extra coolers
Please I need your suggestions to have the best experience.
I wish you could get these 79 series V8 LC's in the UK.
Any chance you could an episode on a Jackaroo?
Just need to find one
@@Ronny_Dahl hey mate would be keen if you did an MQ or MR triton one too! cheers love your vids
Hi there Guys, can you please tell how them 2 space cases (storage boxes) are secured on the tray ?
Is Wayne going ally tray, box and frame or just changing out the box and frame for weight saving and keeping the steel tray?
Keeping the steel tray as it’s strong as, changing only box and frame and putting in draws
Would like to see an rc Colorado on modified.
Need to do more Hilux modified episodes
Hey Ronny great vids. Do you have any down Bremer Bay way?
Parabolic Springs on a 79!? Can someone please tell me where one can get these!!.
Hi. Could you list the part number or dimensions of the space cases? Thanks!
One thing I was wondering... Where is the ladder for the RTT stored?
I assume in the back? Down the side of the storage boxes I guess.
Baie mooi bakkie Wayne! Enjoy!!! Where in South Africa you originally from? 🇿🇦
Thanx buddy it’s taken a long time to build, I’m from Pietermaritzburg
Wayne dit is baie a mooi bakkie
Did moving to 35inch tyre require re-gearing?
John Borg Jacob and is it still street legal?
Dit het die woord bakkie, ek moes toe dit kyk.
Was that a factory tray cut to suit the mini canopy?
Question about all the roads and land in Australia that you guys 4x4 and camp on. Is it public land? How does it work down there?
Another great vid mate. Question for Wayne, how does the alucab go in wet weather? Would love to swap my old soft fold out rtt for one but just not sure about how they stand up to heavy rain with no cover over the entry.
I’m waiting for some rain one weekend so I can try it out but I don’t think it’s going to be a drama as, it’s the same when you have to get into a swag
Wayne dV fair enough mate!
Ronny, any chance you could get a new hilux on here. Pref a 2.8 turbo manual??? Cheers cobber
yes would like to see it on here as well.
What brands are the awning and the RTT please. Would like to see if i can check them out since im looking for them at the moment,
cheers
Both are from Alu cab...

ruclips.net/video/iedYJ2Nu6ME/видео.html&ab_channel=RonnyDahl
What figures does Wayne get fuel wise? And did the roof top tent add any too it?
i normally get about 15ltr per 100. with the roof top it hasn't changed at all. pretty airo dynamic
what happen with Wayne Landcruiser's now ? Ronny, Could you tell us? thank you
