Note: Correction: Port Klang is NOT in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is in the Selangor, Malaysia. It is about an hour slightly southwest of Kuala Lumpur. Apologies for the confusion. Cheers.
Are you there by cruise because it seams like cruise dock in Port Klang, that place not even Kuala Lumpur its another city called Klang. This video is way backdated since we finish festive seasons months ago. Anyways cruise business is just in recovery process and i kinda thankfull cruises still choose to stop in Klang given known its 50km or more than 1 hour distance (traffic wise) from proper KL. Essentially just not as same like you stop at Penang, Singapore, Shanghai or Hong Kong where you will stop a the city proper.
🕞 Time 1:00 1957 Malaya Flag (👇🏽Below long history👇🏽) - 👍🏽 You are right the first time when you mentioned 1957. At that time the Malaya flag is almost exactly like the current 🇲🇾 Malaysia flag. 🤓 1957 that year, the newly independent country is called Malaya which is current refer to as the Peninsula Malaysia which consisted of 11 states. 👉🏽 The Malaya flag has a 11 points star and has a total of 11 stripes , the first stripe on the top is red follows by white until it ends with the red at the bottom. 👉🏽 These 11 star's points and stripes represented the 11 states of Malaya or officially the Federation of Malaya. 🤓 In 1963 (as shown in your subtitles 1963) the formation year of the Federation of Malaysia AKA 🇲🇾 Malaysia. 👉🏽 Malaysia flag as in your video retained the basic concept of the earlier Malaya flag but the star now has 14 points and it consists of 14 stripes starting with red on the top follow by white but this time ending with white. 👉🏽 In 1963 Malaysia consists of the 11 states of Peninsula Malaysia or then Malaya and with Singapore, Sabah, Sarawak of total of 14. 👉🏽 So the 14 star's points and 14 red/white stripes represent the 14 locations. 🇸🇬 In 1965 Singapore left Malaysia or the only country in the world being force to be independent. 👉🏽 The need of Federal Territory (FT) directly under the control of federal government was created (currently there are 3). 👉🏽 The 14th point and strip is represented by the FT. 🤓 For those who may not know: 👉🏽 The people of Malaya is Malayan and the people of Malaysia is called Malaysian. 👉🏽 Malay is the name of the Malay race. 👉🏽 Malaysian is the citizen of Malaysia. 👉🏽 Malaysian malay is a Malaysia citizen of the malay race. 👉🏽🇲🇾 Malaysian malay, Malaysian chinese and Malaysian Indian are the names of the respective races with Malaysia citizenship. But we are all Malaysian and ❤️ 🇲🇾👍🏽👌🏾 👉🏽 🇸🇬 Similarly Singaporean malay, Singaporean chinese and Singaporean Indian are the names of the respective races with Singaporean citizenship. And they are all Singaporean. 👉🏽 🇹🇭 The same with Thai malay, Thai chinese and Thai Indian are the names of the respective races with Thailand citizenship and they are all Thai. 👉🏽 🇲🇨 Indonesian malay and Indonesian chinese are the names of the respective races with Indonesian citizenship. And these are all Indonesian.
