Very cool brother, I' been building for 55 years. And never did a model show. Afer seeing the quality of these babies. I'd be afraid to bring my crap to a show like this, much love and respect to you men. I am Very impressed. God bless and have a great holiday season. Thanks for the great vid. I got about 25 kits from the 70s, unbuilt. Sum still wraped. Sum unraped. I want that gas station kit. Sweet. Keep it going guys. 👍✌️🤘🇺🇲💪☠️💖💎
Tim, l really appreciate you filming the categories separately when it comes to IPMS events. Other content creators of usually don't do this and they end up short changing the automotive categories almost as an afterthought. Leave it up to those guys and you'd never know about great builders such as Cl ay Kemp or Mark Batson and other automotive builders. Thanks for all you do.
Very Cool Builds. And Dang what a deal on the Salvino kit from Wes's. Lots of cool stuff the vendor's had. That was an endless tote of bags. Thanks for sharing Tim.👍👍
man that Carl Caspers Set and that Panther Pink Dart some amazing craftsmanship on display their thanks for sharing it with us Tim. God Bless have a great week
Lots of nice stuff-didn't get much model building done today -cats are super pesty-black big scale 32 with the Ardun heads was Wild-the car haulers with the funny cars -Yep some really neat stuff-i might have to watch it twice
Some sweet build. Thanks for the coverage. You sure do get around a lot. Between 1/1 and scale shows, You must never be home. Lol. Or you have a lot of shows closer by
Great display of models,Tim and i think those Australian kits look really good, especially the panel van👍😎. I've got the M31, yet to build. I bought an academy Lee to steal interior🎃. I keep looking at garage but it's 50 quid here😭. Thanks for another good show tour👍😎Pete 🤓
That 70 Monte Carlo at 20:12 that guy did a great job on the weathering. That's what mine looks like sitting behind the house except the body isn't rotted out quite that bad. But the vinal top looks exactly like that. The splitting effect on the seats looks real as well. 😲 I got that tanker you pointed out at 40:21. I was hoping to put it on a larger truck chassis but found out it wasn't going to work, I never thought of it being intended for a pickup truck. 😤 Once again thanks for some more great show coverage‼️. 😃
One of the more disappointing model show experiences I've had. Not for lack of good models. Actually, I wouldn't even know if it wasn't for this video. This was by far one of the worst organized shows I've been to, leaving a lot of people outright bored and pissed. Very poor class separation, judges being obviously clueless at what they were looking at, hosting club members walking away with 80% of awards including some judges, poor organization and overall hectic atmosphere with not much to see in the vendor section. And there is so much potential in this show, as there was definitely a good amount of great models. This is somewhat local to me and by far the closest show to where I live. So I was looking forward to it. And it was such a let down. Let me put it that way. There was a goat beauty pageant and auction next door. (I know, I thought I had seen everything) For the four hours we were locked out of the model room, yes FOUR HOURS, the most fun we had for the entire day was watching goats getting haircuts and being brushed after hairspray was applied to their fur. One got sold for $4300. That was the highlight of the (model) show.
