    Thanks for sharing! Amazing video! What are the yellow triangles you left behind used for?

    • @ehden
      @ehden  7 месяцев назад +1

      Well, I fill them with snow and use them as anchors.

    Great video - I always tread in the 4 poles before erecting the tent - I thank that is mote easy then fighting to tread in the 2 on cross after.

      Thank you, well sometimes I do that too, but for me, I find it to start with 2 when I am alone, less heavy, needs less tension on the poles.
      Thank you again for your comment.

    Excellent video, as a person with a certain age, I still have the ancestor of the VE25 (1994 version) and we used 2 donuts (foam) to prevent the inner layer and the outer layer from touching each other. In your version, it seems that there is no more use, do you know what is the change in the design?

    Great video thank you, I set up mine the same way. Strange that you missed out on your colour coordination of the loop you added to the tent peg... ATB Tom. Just subbed if you are going to do more content on the VE25...

    Very good video! thank you for parts 1 and 2. I have one question, where do the little pouches go that you showed when you first unpacked the tent?

    • @ehden
      @ehden  Год назад

      Well, sometimes I use them as anchors, fill them with snow, attach them to the ropes of the tent, dig a small hole and put them in it, and cover the hole with snow again.

    I just got my Mountain 25 2p tent, my first 4 season tent, I saw your tent has the 4 yellow triangle shaped parts. Hoped to see you use them in the video, but you did not, what are they for?

    • @ehden
      @ehden  3 года назад +2

      Hello, these 4 yellow triangles are use to fix it in snow, will upload a video soon in snow in which will show how to be done. Thank you for your comment.

      @@ehden thanks so much, cant wait to try out my tent for the first time, living in Nova Scotia, it looks like we may don’t get any snow in my area at all, bought some snow shoes some years ago, could not trie em out because there wasn’t any snow when I was off work.

      @@christianbinder4655 well you live in a cold area, as the weather forecast shows that tomorrow you might have some snow, remember to use a good isolation mattress, which I messed up the first time, ended sleeping on my bag and other stuff, and the VE is a really good and strong tent when it comes to high wind as long you anchor it the right way.
      by the way what brand are your snowshoes

      @@ehden they are Tubbs snow shoes, yes snow will be more likely in Cape Breton, we at the South Shore will only getting some flurries. Got a very good insulated sleeping pad from Therm-a-Rest.

    Can you give me the measurement length and how many pole sections are for the archway front entrance pole please?
    Just bought a new fly like yours for my first issue 31 year old VE-25 that had the old two pole awning fly.

      Pete, how did you buy a new outer fly? I asked TNF where I live, to no avail.
      Kind regards.
