It's under a bunch of comments
What happened to the looting bags?!
such riveting content or should I say ribbiting content. I like my bad puns
Y’know what would be amazing? A cave-frog variant that’s twice the size of the other frogs, spawns underground in aquifers, and will attack and ‘eat’ glow squids along with bats, spiders, and small slimes. Imagine if it could be used for some sort of potion-related purpose?
This.
Anything for more frogs, with that said, this idea is really cool. To add onto it, imagine if a type of frog could be somehow used to get poison potions
I wanna ride it to great glory
Oh in God's name please put this on the feedback website
Put that idea on the Minecraft feedback page, Mojang might see that.
I hope that they wont miss the opportunity to make a rare, poisonous and vively colored tropical frog for jungles! It could be involved in the making of some paralysing arrows and it would be so cool!
Yeeees
Tropical frog being so plain actually irks me
@@trackmarck not really as it feels really like a mod with too many unlikely features (its a youtube video after all and it need entertaining content). Something more vanilla-looking with only a color change and the paralysis mechanics would already be a lot I think [my idea is that being hit by a paralysing arrow would stun you for one second with a visual effect like a sudden zoom on your screen, and you would need to tame frogs to get it]
Yah, like paralysis 1 which you can't walk or run but you can still turn and brake, place, and hit, and paralysis 2 where you can't move at all. The model could be like a black and bright yellow mix. If you right click on one with arrows, they become arrows of paralysis. If you hit one with just your hand, you get paralysis for 5 seconds. If you kill one you get poisonous frog legs, which can be used in making potions of paralysis, and of you eat them, you get paralysis 2 for 5 seconds. You cannot breed them and let's just say like a 1 in 50 chance of spawning in a jungle.
If you use arrows of slowness 4, they are effectively paralysis arrows. Mobs basically move ridiculously slowly that they are ever so nearly still. Doesn't really work that well in pvp as the player can still jump with the effect
Bro submit this on the Minecraft feedback site
frog limbs should exist and be possible to cook, or used for leaping potions. Then rabbit foot could be used for luck potions, maybe those could be changed to give a looting affect for everything affected by it.
@Projit ruclips.net/video/TH8Zn9jsQFc/видео.html
@Projit imagine making a botted account just to make it say a sentence that makes literally no sense
@Projit No, xisuma's content is way better and you literally need a profile picture and a channel background and make good content. And you have none. Go to hell and grow your channel "natrurally" by uploading content.
I think it was Quark that added horse-like going up 1 block gaps to the leaping potion and that's what I want. So many caves and cliffs to navigate, so few that you can fit a horse into.
kn
The Deep Dark looks so much more ominous and eerie now, encompassing almost all surface area of the caves makes it feel like this giant looming threat. Great Job for Mojang on that one!
@Projit you dont even make content?
Mud bricks are looking really nice, and I can upgrade my dirt hut into second stage just by giving it a bit of a water
what
Agreed. They look like something out of a mod pack
It should be more brown imo
Second stage’s just mud, mud bricks are third stage
Just add water
I love the frogs, I love how intricate their models are and how detailed their animations are, when compared with the other mobs in the game. I do think it's a little jarring though, to see the frogs look and move so sophisticatedly, while you have pigs and cows and sheep that look like they move on hinges (which, they kinda do). I think the solution is to subtly touch up pre existing mobs. It's kind of like the issue where bats have a much higher resolution than every other mob, which causes a really jarring effect. Minecraft's art style can and should subtly evolve overtime, it just has to remain consistent throughout.
I totally agree. I'd love to see some tiny 3D details added to older mobs, like ears on pigs and cows and sheep
I hope that can be toggled though. i wouldn't be able to get used to older mobs getting "modded" animations
No, the "bad" animations are the art style. The game is supposed to look like old 3d games, where stuff looked like that. Smooth animations like this ruin the art style
on the other hand, tadpole eggs are really ugly
@@kachosuffer7 i think you would be able to. But it would be a cool idea
9:15 When you convert the dirt into mud, it seems that there is a light update as well, the shadow from the dirt block disappears. With automation on large scale, this could create a lot of lag due to the light update
i was gonna mention this, but its probably just a bug tbh
Probably cause it doesn't have the hitbox of a full block
Well of course, its basically a new block, as far as I am aware, copper blocks, plants, and so on all cause a update when they change state.
@Projit man get a life
I love the goat horn and copper goat horn, but there's 3 things I wish for them-
1, a way to input singular notes so I can make (likely terrible) tunes myself
2, a way to automate the horn playing (maybe putting it in a dispenser so it dispenses the sound?)
3, a nautilus shell horn, their shapes are so similar and it could make a more tropical sound
yes!! the nautilus shell could finally have a second use!
Maybe automate them with a new block crafted with a skulk shrieker? Idk tho
God yeah!! It's like the lute from Mordhau or the instruments from SS13
If this becomes true, then it's only a matter of time so people start playing Megalovania in Minecraft servers
I love that they changed the color of the wood. It looked way too much like jungle wood, but now it's unique. Plus, I almost felt like crimson wood wasn't actually red, so finally getting red wood is great
Crimson is definitely more purple than red, is think its Burgundy technically.
@@jasonreed7522 i dont think its burgundy, burgundy is a brown, desaturated red and i think the crimson wood is too purple to be burgundy. maybe its a brown-violet or something?
I kinda don’t like it much
@@cowman9728 maroon, maybe?
It's like magenta
3D audio is most effective when showing a sound above/below you. You didn't hear a difference because the zombies were around the same level as you.
yes! im so excited for this change!
Nice, a bedrock feature-ish on Java but better cause it suits the stuff such as the subtitles on Minecraft Java for showing what sounds they are, stated usually in the Bottom-Right when enabled.
I also hear a big difference for in front and behind. It's super helpful.
@Projit shut up
I'd be a huge fan of that, always struggle to find caves using mob sounds.
The mangrove makes me happy. I've wanted a good red block for ages. Red nether bricks were too dark and too textured, and then we got close with he crimson wood but it was still off. The mangrove is near perfect, nice and red.
I’d love a good white wood next!
@@mayvalley Well, we already have birch and quartz, which covers most of the general white slab/stair block needs. Personally, I'd prefer a deep green with slab/stair variants.
I really hope the mangrove roots are tall enough so that the players can ride their boats under the trees, that will be epic
@Projit lol imagine being a bot
@Projit cool, 5 days old bot think his content is better than xisuma
@Projit imagine commenting to xisuma's videos
Maybe planting the propagules in the 2x2 formation will yield trees like that...
They should really call the packed mud "cobb" because of the way it's made with straw mixed in. This would be more accurate and possibly educational--which I know Mojang likes to do.
Post on the Minecraft suggestions subreddit!
So you're saying instead of a dirt hut people will be making Cobb and cobblestone houses now
Wouldn't straw and mud be Adobe?
I had the same thought.
@@lilylopnco Cob and adobe are the same thing, just developed by different cultures! :)
I love the goat horns, they have surprised us a lot with it!
I thought they weren't coming soon!
My thought is that they basically put it off until they figured out what to do with it -- and now they have! It's purely a "fun social feature", which is a slightly disappointing use but it is super unique and really fun :)
imagine the chances of a 1 horned screaming goat spawning O-o
@@groveri2 It must be pretty rare, the scrraming goat has a 2% chance spawning
@@port0620 we just have to find the chance of a 1 horned goat then divide that chance with the screaming goat chance.
@@groveri2 multiply
The mangrove wood looks like mahogany. You could be able to make fancy looking furniture items out of it maybe. That isn't really mojang's style though so maybe someone could make a mod or datapack.
We need poison dart frogs as smaller brightly coloured frogs. They’d be the first truly neutral mob as they cause you poison but only if you touch them
Pufferfish already sorta do that
Pufferfish?
@@noahgabel7487 No harm in having more mobs that fill that area
Bats, Sheep, Cows, Pigs, Chickens, and Squids don't do anything to you. Wolves also don't do anything to you unless you hit them. Did you just start the game?
There are several neutral mobs already lmao
The new red wood is going to be soo good for japanese/asian style builds
and also making, outstanding railroad red cabooses!
also Victorian and steampunk builds :)
Honestly, a Japanese-themed update is what Minecraft needs.
(Edit: In my opinion.)
I was just thinking the texture on the trapdoors would be perfect for that, too! I really like the textures so far, they look awesome.
@@adamnelson7840 I would love sakura trees and Japanese maples
With how advanced the animations of some of the newer mobs are, especially with the frogs, I'd love to see an update where they overhaul the animations of mobs. Maybe to be more on-par with the animations of Dungeons or the Trailers, maybe just as simple as adding a little more bobbing and wobbling to the walk animation.
Fresh Animations is a mod that does just that. It would be great if it were implemented into vanilla.
I think it would look strange and unminecrafty.
The mangrove wood has a lot of building potential. The red color of the wood fits in with red, Asian-style builds. The trapdoors would also be great for 1 block windows, or if you want a window with a frame around it.
mixed with acasia wood and some redsand blocks
Mud bricks are also great for Asian themed cities!
Dang, I really like the new horns! When it was first introduced, I didn't think much of it as it just played the raid battle toot. The new sounds are really nice!
I feel like giving the smithing table more use might be a nice alternative for crafting a copper horn. Right now all it's used for is upgrading diamond with netherite, and village professions, so why not add an additional sensible use?
Make it so "fine detail work" uses the smithing table like coating diamonds in netherite. So adding copper (and hopefully gold) to goat horns and maybe a few other 2 item recipes to it would be cool.
Yesss!!!!
@@jasonreed7522 add spyglass in there too! Making lenses like that is definitely fine work.
@@dylanmatthisen8977 honestly compasses and clocks should be in the list too.
At least to tune/customize the notes.
The reddish tint to the mangrove wood makes it my new favorite wood type. The crimson wood would be it, but it’s a bit too pink
Tbh love it too, but I wish along with adding the mangrove tree they added a feature that allowed the player to dye wood with the dyes
I really like bright colours but I don't have a lot of options and this new wood is amazing
Mojang: "Frogs can't eat fireflies they're poisonous."
Also majong: "Frogs can eat magma cubes."
Yeah that makes sense. Frogs can eat magma.
It has a logic (same as the "cartoons can't show dangerous things kids can replicate but can show shooting rocket launchers while driving" rule I heard of from somewhere that may or may not be real), with frogs (and parrots!) not being able to do the dangerous thing that is possible in real life but they can interact however with the fantasy mobs that don't exist... but it is a little silly all the same
Lolz. Good one. I get it's a joke but I will explain it with the comment above in case they didn't get it the first time. Hope I'm not stepping on toes or anything...
Anywho~! It's to stop kids from giving their pets poisonous real world insects. Kids know slimes aren't real, so the fantasy creature food diet makes sense. Mojang doesn't want kids to accidentally poison their pets by making them eat a firefly.
@@coyotesvods3841 "a little silly" ain't even close to putting it 💀
@@coyotesvods3841 great explanation
Frogs are wild animals, right? Let thefood chain do its thing. I would agree with them stopping frog eating fireflies if the frog is a pet and tameable. To prevent and inform players, let them see how does the fireflies affect the frog by seeing how the fireflies poisons the frog and in that way, you will know that they are harmful for frogs and you need to save them, not totally removing the feature of frogs eating the fireflies, that's so dumb just like their reason about frogs not being able to be in a bucket because they're too big but look at the axolotls.
I feel like this Mangrove wood type will work nicely in tandem with the nether crimson woods. Perhaps some sort of gradient? :)
Call me crazy, but I kinda feel like some of the older mobs should get some model updates to better fit in with the newer ones like the frog. Nothing dramatic, just minor additions like 3D ears on pigs.
Also, I think it’d be really cool if we could make our own custom horn sounds using music blocks. Kind of like how you can change your town's theme in Animal Crossing.
(Edit) I really appreciate how civil y’all have been so far. Controversial opinions like this usually start a lot of unwanted arguments.
On one half I agree, but the other, CRAZY
Some maybe (like Vexes, bats), but the OGs don't need new models like pigs and cows etc. BUT what they need is not new models, but new ANIMATIONS.
If you're on Java, there's a resource pack called Fresh Animations which aims to do just that. Not complete yet, but the stuff that's implemented is really impressive so far. It's got some obvious inspirations from the update animations and Minecraft Dungeons.
Eh
I love custom models where they give the cows 3d snouts, the older models just look a little flat in comparison to the new ones
I'm still thinking the goat horns might be a way to stun the Warden with their loud noises. Maybe each one will stun for a different duration. Either way it's a fun little mechanic
Very good idea still!
I think it would be cool if it had something like a 1 in 100 chance of having a reference to the epic sax guy from 2012
Even as they are right now they would be epic for multiplayer.
Option 1 is sneak up on someone and use it in their ear as a jump scare.
Option 2 is as a "start gun" for minigames.
Option 3 is as a faction/war horn at the beginning of PvP events.
I hope they make them redstone compatible somehow like with a juke box or dispenser where you hit them with a pluse and it plays a tune, maybe picking the tune based on signal strength. (They already should trigger skulk sensors, and possibly at greater range than normal sounds making them a good remote control for farms)
@@jasonreed7522 or it could be used as like a whistle so your friends can hear where yoy are
@Projit please stop spamming for god’s sake
*we need poisonous frogs* like specific to the jungle with each variants of colours (like tropical fish) assigned to a certain potion effect (like paralysis or cumulative damage...ect) and you can imbue these potion effects on arrows using the *Fletching table* , that will make both the frogs and the Fletching table useful !
I expect jungles might get a whole update overhaul down the line. They are seriously lacking all around these days. I use to go to them just to get mossy cobble and cats, but now there really is no need. Get one cocoa bean and bamboo stalk and then you're good.
You should suggest that to Minecraft!
i’m liking the new mud texture a lot more than before. when it was first shown off it was WAY too grey, and while it’s still quite grey it’s a lot more brown and i think actually looks quite good
I feel like a cool implementation of the new mud block would be for fertile farmland that is stomped out by the player to be converted into mud instead of dry dirt. Then possible to have it convert back to dirt if its placed out in the sun, or til it to convert it directly back to fertile farmland?
I like the fertile farmland idea, but having mud dry into normal dirt in the sun would make it borderline impossible to build with. And possibly also hurt the biome itself, unless it has Roofed Forest level canopies.
@@Alex0101101 maybe only dry out in arid biomes like deserts or mesas?
Or have it only dry in the nether, kinda like sponges do?
Nah there should be a new block type for that when you directed it with sun. Maybe a cracked soil? Like those crops soil that you see when crops are dying because of summer or extreme heat
This all looks amazing! I know a lot of people, including myself, have criticized the mud for being too dark but after seeing the packed mud block I think that would work as a stand in for mud. Packed mud has a color closer to dirt already. I also like the recipe since to make mud bricks irl, mud is mixed with dried grasses. I think packed mud should have multiple recipe versions such as mixing it with actual grass and maybe even dried kelp. I think this would be a nice reference to how widely used mud bricks were. Every civilization on every continent has made buildings out of mud at some point. I will say that the mud and muddy roots look too purple; the roots have it more, I'm not a fan. I do wonder what the muddy roots will be for. The Mangrove roots should be like scaffolding but without the stacking. The mud brick blocks look so good! Out of everything the horns are the most unexpected.
And to think there is still more to come!
9:38 You could always put a bottle filter underneath to pull out the empties.
Mojang really knocked it out of the park with the mangrove and mud brick. So much cool stuff to build with, with amazing mechanics to boot!
I'm glad they're giving magma cubes another use. Actually gives a purpose to use the spawner you can find in bastions
I think the whole eating slime and magma cube thing is just a placeholder for the fireflies
@@vandervelde4891 Nope. Mojang said they won't make frogs eat fireflies because in real life fireflies are toxic to frogs.
I feel like that with the addition of mangrove wood, there could also be the addition of the azalea wood type, instead of just having it as oak
They didn’t add it then, they’re not going to now. Azalea doesn’t need its own wood type
I'd have liked a slightly pink tone wood for Azalea, but I also feel like it's more of a tree which is used for its leaves instead of its wood
The 3D audio really worked good for me... It's easier to notice wether it is behind you or just more near to the right back side...
the creepers and tnt also are a good example: when tnt is falling, you can more easilly notice it's direction while not even looking at it
@DropkicktheDecepticon what damage screen tick? The *hurt* sound? That was fine to begin with..?
@DropkicktheDecepticon eh give up, it's been a bug since 1.3, why would they fix it now? It's a server issue, too, and mods are here for this issue
@DropkicktheDecepticon it's just a minor bug, we've been used to the glitched tilt for 10 years. Those stupid glitches are what make some mod devs work. Maybe it's intentional?
Oooh I love the new look of the mangrove!
Now if only they'd finally give us different wood variant bookshelves instead of leaving us stuck with oak :')
Seiing the beginning of the video, I think they should add a new flowing liquid to match the mood of the deepdark 💁🏽♂️
yea, something like water thats infected with skulk algae or something
i agree
@@InsaneFox-yl2pc That could just be a retexure of water like how Swamp water acts.
They could retexture water for deepdarks but I don't think there should be a completely new liquid unless it has another purpose than scenery
@@InsaneFox-yl2pc oooh great idea! Maybe the skulk would get floaters that appear like Lilly pads and infect the surrounding area underground
Wish you could make custom horns. Like being able to create custom noises with items on a crafting table. Example like iron nuggets lower the pitch and gold nuggets raising the pitch.
My biggest question and concern is the delivery of bundles. I'd much rather see something like shulker boxes available early game, but I'll take whatever inventory expansions I can get at this point in early game.
Would be really neat if dirt under Pointed Dripstone would have a chance to turn into mud every time it gets water dripped on it
The reason that you will only hear the sounds in stereo is because you need to turn on 3d audio in your audio app. I use Nahimic. When you turn it on it should work.
Depends on his headphones.
@@b4n8x56 Not with Nahimic, it uses AI to deliver stunning 3d audio do matter the headphones
@@TacoBel You sure, because I doubt they could access outdated drivers
Virtual surround sound works by mixing stereo audio in specific ways. The headphones shouldn't matter too much; they just have to output a stereo signal. It is the software that does the work.
@@Pr0phet_of_Fear i can hear it with my headphones
i kind of wish there would be a way to get froglights without having to make a complicated farm, but other than that im excited!
10:50 Oh I'm really excited about this one, since I bought a head tracking headset a couple months ago, but it didn't seem to work that well in minecraft.
I finally have a red block with a slab variant besides red nether brick!!
@Projitno just no
All of this looks so cool to experiment with!
i love the mangrove wood!! it looks so nice its the perfect blend between crimson and acacia wood. the log form is also really cool, looks life if you cut a beet in half, I'm going to love using the stripped version of it in builds.
i do have to say that the mud texture needs a lot of work, the color just doesn't look like mud and its not a really nice color to look at, though the rooted form of it looks cool. but i adore the mud bricks, i might replace the blackstone i have in my basement with them.
i wonder what the goat horn is gonna be for, i love that it has all different types of sounds but i really wish they add one of those classical long horn sounds like in a ricola commercial lol.
i also would die for them to add the frogs randomly stacking on top of each other, or being able to pick up the frogs and stack them. i really wanted the copper golem to be a little statue and decoration block but it would also be cool if the frogs could "freeze" or something and they could be little statues their little faces would be nice to put around a build.
The Mangrove trees make me want a Maple or Evergreen tree. Ideally the Maple would be like a mix of Oak and Spruce and the Evergreen would be like a mix of Birch and Spruce with a light green tinge to it.
A really small thing I want is to put the fireflies in jars and use the jars as a light source
btw you forgot about bonemealing the mangrove leaves for the mangrove 'saplings', then bonemealing that 4 times to get the full 'sapling'
I really like the colour of that mangrove wood, it'll look so great in builds :D really really hoping for a craftable 'inert' sculk as it is such a beautiful block and has so much building potential but not if you have to worry about a warden spawning in your house!
The mangrove seedlimg growing into an oak tree reminded me of way way back when they were first implimenting acacia trees, you'd find a savanna and find the tree and it was the right shape but the leaves dropped apples because it was oak.
Players: Hey the goat horn is really cool, can't wait to see its potential as a game-changing item
Mojang: haha goat horn go *H O N K*
Mojang added alot of really useful features this update, they might aswell add some "social features" to the game
I saw someone suggest you could stun the Warden with it
Summon horses
Link the horses to different sounds from the horn
It’s like how a dog teleports but instead it’s controllable and on command
@@disco-bot2724 Yoooo that's actually a great idea
Mangrove wood looks so damn good 😍 and im sorry to be that guy but now it just feels like there really should be azalea wood 😞
Yes I think something a similar darkness to oakwood with a green tinge would be great as all the wood types lean warm apart from that one nether tree.
Can’t wait to see the mangrove trees implemented probably my favourite wood color by far
The 3D audio might depend on if you have a surround sound setup or not. If you're playing on a two speaker setup, you're probably going to hear stereo. But it should be evident on a 5.1, 7.1, or 7.2 setup. (I suppose I could go test it on my home theater setup in the living room.)
Ok, scrap all the theories about the goat horn having game changing uses, now I just love the idea of it having different tunes depending on the material you craft it with, like a mini music disc. Features like that are just so fun!
I really, really hope you can make your own tunes with it!
I love the mangrove wood change, it’s absolutely perfect
I like these interesting mechanics for obtaining blocks they are implementing, it gives us a bunch of new farms to come up with
Would be nice if frogs had a change to drop one of their legs on death, and could be used as an ingredient for jump boost, so you have the ability to use either rabbit's foot or a frog leg to brew a jump boost potion.
rabbits jump shorter than frogs in mc. perhaps jump boost 3?
nah, too op
So you are french?
I wonder in they will add a bunch of different horns with different jingles, like a new music disk type collectible
lesgoo netherite horn just an absolute vibe
@anan ye but late game obv
I feel like 1.18 has started the new minecraft, and 1.19 adds so much to that! Mud and mangrove wood and frogs were all dreams, and now they are being implemented! Minecraft has begun a new era!
@@Big-Tork-Large-Gass agreed, the aquatic update basically defines the difference between new and old Minecraft. 1.18 definitely feels like the biggest leap since then though
Yeah 1.13 was the first stem I'm Mojangs "Revamp the whole game" phase, 1.18 being the biggest signifier of the complete shift having outdone the entire overworld, now we just need an update for the end
No
Beta 1.8 started a new Minecraft
I know this is already a big update but I would love to see a swamp village with the new blocks it would be amazing
mangrove village then?
@@nightspeedtd7879 yes I just said swamp because I assume the mangrove will replace the default swamp
@@4eyewiseguy no they won’t. It’s already confirmed that a couple of mangroves will spawn in the normal swamp and the mangrove forest will be a totally new biome where only mangroves spawn.
So like „Forest“ (some birches spawn there) and „Birch forest“ (only birches spawn there)
2:16 I'm sure you noticed by now, at least while editing, but that frog jumped over because it had a block higher of elevation to begin with.
The fact that the skulk blocks drop XP when broken means that the deep dark biomes might be a really good source of early game XP as long as you're careful not to spawn the warden
If i remember well, it drop XP only if it was generated by a skulk cathalyst (idk how to write this), wich uses XP from mobs to generate these blocks
@@DestroyerOfWeebs it’ll all depend on if pre-generated ones count or if it’s only ones not made by original world generation
I feel like for reasons of game balance, naturally generated skulk won't contain XP
No generated skulk won't contain exp since no mob died to create it. Only ones generated by a catalyst will contain xp. Or else it would be very broken.
@@gauthamarun3878 In the experimental snapshot generated sculk did drop XP, idk if that's the case in this snapshot though
Does any one think about pearlescent Moon when frog light get mentiond.
Yup
a great idea to farm the froglight is much like using iron golem to get the slimes to head toward them and fall on a magma block to hurt them im sure you can do something similar with the magma slimes in the basalt delta biome like idk if you can but maybe if u can use get somethink like powdered snow at the bottom to make them freeze till the turn into smaller slimes then the frog as the bottom in a chamber eat them and a hopper underneath them... honestly i'm not sure if powdered snow works in the nether but yeah i'm sure there is something that can pasively kill them... you know what would be cool? if they were to make packed ice blocks harm enemies in the nether like magma blocks hurt enemies in the overworld... anyways sorry for such a long comment... just a thought
That new trapdoor would look great as a window replacement in an underwater build.
I wish they'd have tools that use wood to take on the color of the wood used to make it. Also the same with all wooden things like Crafting Tables or chests. Having different chest colors would be real handy for easy organization. And while we're at it lets get copper tools and armor ya?
copper armour would just make you get struck by lightning
@@foxelfire maybe copper Armour would passify hoglins or picking brutes?
@@nyxen8712 the point of brutes is for you have to decide between extra armor for the brute or gold armor to pacify the others
Nyxen the entire point of brutes is that you can’t pacify them like the others. Besides, that makes no sense, piglins like gold, why would they be interested in copper?
@Projit shut
So excited for this update!!!
The mangrove looks really nice, I’m excited for the builds to come out with it
If they keep its reddish texture it will be my favorite type of wood.
It would be cool if the mud lowered your jump height
I'm hype for the mangrove wood, by I wish it was slightly more like the wood color on a smithing table cause that texture is dope as hell
I truly can't wait for 1.19!
You’re gonna have to.
Im so happy they decided to change the mangrove planks. They looked too much like jungle wood.
Also like the fact that the goats now have a use
I'm curious about the range of the frogs "eating" ability with slimes and how long the reset is on that. Do you have any insight Xisuma?
I accidentally still had my RUclips app set to 1.25x and for a moment I thought Xisuma had too much coffee.
nyoooooooom superspeed
I have no clue why are how those goat horns will be used, but I’m sure it will be awesome and lead to WAY more cool stuff
Jazz bands in Minecraft probably
@@dtslawyer6970 so someone here can make a resource pack that changes the horn audio sounds
they should make it so that mud actually acts like mud or maybe make a variant of it? like quicksand , where you would sink into it and you could be stuck/it would pull you down , they should add quicksand too , but you shouldn't be able to break it easily if your in it , maybe it could be a liquid/solid where you have to use a bucket and then you have to break the left over block or something , they should add goo/goo caves too , but yupp
Just what I wanted to see on my birthday! Thanks Xisuma!
Finally a new wood type though the red coloring is a nice surprise
Looks more pinkish, maybe that's hope we get cherry wood eventually to have a red wood.
It currently looks almost exactly like cherry's heartwood color.
If you want a more cherry red (the fruit's color) then I'm in agreement but this texture will be amazing for tree base builds as the heart wood at the center can be the correct color.
@@jasonreed7522 to me it looks somewhat like pink mahogany or cedar, and I kind of wish jungle trees were mahogany. But I also wanted a cherry coloured red wood when saying cherry wood that way maybe we can start also branching out and getting pink leaves. From there we could get red orange yellow brown leaves. Maybe over time we will also get other colours of wood. To me crimson is magenta, and this is pink maybe in the end update we would get a purple wood like more solid purple. I really love this mangrove wood and I'm excited to build with it.
I think structures of jutting bone blocks would look amazing in the Deep Dark biome. Just spikes of bone sticking out of the walls or ground in random places that would really emphasize the chaos and rot of the Deep Dark, along with the feature of bones seen in the skulk shreiker and Warden.
The 3D Audio setting sounds like it should specifically be for headphones/earbuds that have 3D tracking. If you don't have them, it won't do anything different than stereo. But the changelog just says "best experienced with headphones" implying that's not what it is, so I'm not sure what it does.
Just realised how fast X is growing! Well done my dude!
Am I the only one that think Frog Spawn would make for really good barnacles?
11:10, you need a headset that supports 3D audio
A very simple way to tell apart 3d Audio and Stereo is when placing a block you either hear it on the left or right. With Stereo you hear the noise on the side that just doesn't feel right. the Stereo has been iritating me lot so im thankdul for the change.
Frogs should attack phantoms too. They look like dragonfly insects
The goat horn sounds are different depending on your orientation, so I decided to layer each horns sounds over eachother which made some great little tunes, Here’s the video! ruclips.net/video/C2Aw0x4nubA/видео.html
That 3D audio HRTF was added to csgo a while back, and it really does help clear up where you hear something. I imagine it will be most useful when you hear mobs, or flowing water, or something in a cave And you try to figure out where to mine to find it lol
This mangrove wood is GORGEOUS I cant wait until its actually in the game
Tried the deep dark snapshot it is amazing!
The new mangrove wood looks great, but whenever we get a new wood type it just makes me long for some kind of silvery grey wood! They could let it weather naturally like copper (as IRL), though I think people would be annoyed to have to varnish or otherwise protect their wood to prevent that. They could also have a different weathering mechanic like putting it underwater or using a water bottle on it. Also, iron should be able to rust!
Cool idea but it would be a little weird for just one kind of wood to weather. I think it should just be a separate kind of wood with this color
this, think of this when they released the basalt it looks like a grey wood for me its so cool
My first thought for a mud farm, if you had 2 water sources next to a block, you push it out of the way and water fills the hole, a dispenser grabs the water with a bottle, another dirt is pushed over the dispenser and turns to mud, being taken away again to open the spot in front of the dispenser for a water refill
The difference in the audio thing is that it’ll change the audio to be deeper if you’re underneath the audio source, in addition if they’re below it’ll make it higher (frequency wise as well) sounding
Eventually would our whole world be consumed if it can generate new scull generators.
I was wondering the same thing. Kind of like the corruption in terraria. Would we have to start digging out perimeters in order to seal it off?

I'm glad to see Minecraft becoming/having more like a full rpg feel or something.
I just love these horns it makes it more... 'friendly fun' idk how to say it, just like sea of thieves vibes.
I absolutely love it.
The froglights reminds me of weathered spots, like the grimey edges and sunbleached sides
I loved that frog that jumped over Xisuma's dirt pillar as soon as he said it was the max height. What great comedic timing.
