@Kirit Kamboh - Castle Oaks PS (1496) It was her first. Cry was on season 1 episode 2. Acapellia was her second on season 1 episode 4 when she had two solos ( Acapella and she performed Cry the second time).

That’s because the dance world is not as huge as you would think. They propably saw each others on many occasions. Giana from AUDC 2 said in one of her videos that she was the only one who did not know anyone else

I think in another episode the moms were mad at Melissa for letting her go because they all made a pact to not send their kids when Abby asked them all to go. Don’t quote me on it though, it’s been a loooong time since I e seen the episodes.

Maddie definitely puts her future first and I respect that a lot. You don’t get many kids who are as determined as her. I certainly wasn’t at her age and if I’m honest I’m now 20 and I still don’t have the drive she does. She deserves all of the good things she strives for.
Maddie didn’t put her future first. Her mother put dance over everything and refused to let her be a child. Maddie was a child and just did what she was told being exploited by her vulture mother and dance teacher. She was literally forced to dance even when she was sick. Please stop being fooled by this mess of a show. She got handed everything.

@@Amelia-do8mz No. The moms were told things by the producers, so they didn’t want to do it, and Melissa was told other things. If you watched the episodes you can tell the mothers want their daughters to do it. They even complained about their kids not doing it

Maddie's choreo looks like the same she gets in practically every dance, so no, she didn't have her world cut out for her, she was in her comfort zone.
Lmao I mean.. she could *do* a lot more than what Abby choreographed.. just look at her combos or improvs (off the show). She was great at quirky, intense, and fluid movement, and had a range of styles she could fit in and execute well. and They just didn’t have time to add lots of new moves/skills (like they did pre-show), cause they were choreographing new pieces weekly for tv. And some of her solos were diff in character and steps.

Christi actually said the producers or someone told them not to go on AUDC because it wasn’t a good idea as they weren’t doing so well as a show. But apparently Melissa didn’t get the memo or whatever. Christi also cared enough about other people while Melissa sold out for fame. people say “Melissa played her cards smartly and that’s why Maddie is so famous!” But Maddie isn’t nearly as famous as y’all think. She’s no Jojo Siwa.
Also I’d rather be a mom who put my child over dance and a stupid tv show than live vicariously through my kid and sell them out for fame and give them more trauma only for them to end up mildly famous…
Christi was the real smart one. She and Chloe live VERY comfortably and they seem healed and happy. They fixed their priorities and aren’t money/fame hungry. They have morals and are good people. They realized Abby wasn’t gonna do anything for Chloe because she hated her and Christi. So sticking by her and letting Abby abuse her more would have done nothing. Idk why people act like Christi is somehow dumb for being a team player and putting her child’s well being over dance. She let her child get an education, and instilled good values and morals into her child and that’s why they are where they are now. They’ll be set for life. Fame can run out. Knowledge and being a good person can’t. A lot of y’all in the comments need to fix your priorities and stop thinking fame is the end all be all.
There’s a reason Christi and Chloe were the fan favorites and liked much more than Melissa and Maddie on the show.

Christi and Chloe were the fan favorites because they were the underdogs that Abby hated lmao. If Maddie was the one Abby hated and constantly sabotaged and didn’t want to see succeed, then people would hate on Chloe and love Maddie unconditionally. That’s just how it is. Whether you want to admit it or not, it all goes back to pity. People pity people who weren’t treated well and support them, saying “oh you can do it, I believe in you!”

sarah Corpus the moms had a pact that they wouldn’t do anything if Abby asked them to perform or something but Melissa broke the pact. So it’s more likely that Abby asked all of them (Christi said that Chloe was asked but Christi said no) and Melissa was the only one who said yes because the others were sticking to the pact.
