Buddy pls understand the concept just don’t get panic , I have Volkswagen car and I also faced the same problems many few times . It’s just that when the tank is almost empty or in reserve , this problem arises and you won’t see the actual reading after filling the tank . It’s bcos the tank is having float guage which gets stuck down in the tank so always recommended to keep at least more than 1/4th if not possible to keep 1/2 of the tank capacity and it also gives you better mileage .

It is not only about creta it is with all latest Hyundai cars you just have to restart the car and all the updations will be made then and you’ll able to see actual figures after the restart thing is done. And Ya hyundai needs to update this.

I got similar problem in my new creta, after refuling full tank, distance to empty shows 767 km but after driving more than 150 km it's still shows 767. I shown this problem to Hyundai mechanics, he removed battery terminal for 5 min and after reconnect terminal it's shows 694 balance but after 10 km of driving once again reading is freezed bu 692 and itis not decreasing..

Best way to such problem, fill the tank full and drive till empty. Repeat 2 to 3 times. I had this in my Alto when new. Workshop Manager suggested this idea. This way the float will become sensitive and show correct reading. This is because your car is new.
Recently i faced the same problem . disconnect negative wire of battery and connect it again . and when you start your creta you will hear a sound from petrol tank .

Distance to empty is a simple calculation. Agar 10 ka milege milega to uss hisab se dikyayega agar 15 ka mileage milega to jada dikhayega. So it's never accurate. Tank full karo aur mileage nikalo. Activa jaisa mat use karo.500, 500 ka kya fanda hai? Tank full to tank full. Paisa to utna hi lagega. Pump jana aur ana.

Full tank method me ye problem nhi hota... Agar fuel reserve me ata hai...or 500 ya 1000 ka ( except full tank) aap dalte ho to mid ho ya fuel gauge it will take some time to show it. Try it

Bhai meri Creta EX model main range kam hone ki jagah +1 karke bhadne lag jata hai and steering light bhi ignition on krne pe direct on ho jati hai

Check manual I've face same issue if you add less than 6 litre fuel then mid not updated so every time add fuel upto 6 litre then mid update

Best way is to check and reinstall the Fuel Pump. I did the same and got satisfactory results.

80 km ka matab hai , you are in reserve, its BS6 engine.. they advice min to keep 10 litre i which 5 litre as reserve and 5 as normal
