Bro Why Are They Just Staring At It
Fire Moves Faster Than The Average Car
Now That Fire Is In Dead Grass Making It Be Able To Move Faster Than 50 Km/h
    (Depending On The Wind
It Looked Windy So I Was Guessing)

The strategy for this particular fire was to protect structures and let the fire burn itself out. I was listening to this call on Broadcastify

@@FireAircraft This is a standard RUI - Rural Urban Interface.
RUI is very VERY common in bushfire and rural firefighting strategies. One of the risks with a fire like this is reignition, so a good strategy (and it is employed here) is to allow the fuel load to burn up to the point of Rural Urban interface. They are LETTING the fire burn to the fenceline, knowing that they have excellent access to water, and excellent access to the firefront on the road edge.
If the fuel is burnt up to the road edge, there is an extremely low chance of reignition, and you minimize unburnt pockets.
Fireys will turnout to any fire they get called too - but we HATE turning out to reignitions.

It’s a shame FRV hate volunteers from CFA.. a toxic culture

Looks like a job well done. Fire wasn’t going anywhere, let it burn out, once it’s burnt, it gives good protection to the surrounding houses.
