- Uruha Rushia plays Undertale for the first time!
On her first playthrough, she treats all the monsters in the underground as enemies, and she shows all the bosses no mercy, and of course, this counts for Undyne too! Undyne is Rushia's enemy, and it looks like she's the VILLAIN!
Sorry for the late upload:) Editing in Undyne's lines in English took quite some time, but I hope it makes the video more enjoyable! :D

She even ate the snowman. But she was the only one who seemed uncomfortable with that..
You could feel Rushia questioning if she was the villain and having to convince her self that she's the good guy. Rushia had the most unique playthrough of Undertale I've ever seen because she made me root against her.
Rushia is making Toby Fox's dream come true~
You mean making "Tobai Box's" dream come true
@@ChaosGodEnerjak
You mean making "Today Fox's" dream come true
I was also kinda rooting for Undyne against Marine during her g-route playthrough
@@Charlotte_TL What is Tody Fox's dream?
Damn, Undyne death in neutral route is definitely sad. It's like she's about to transform to the Undying form but having not enough determination only causes her to melt like creatures in Alphys's lab.
Rushia villain playthrough is best playthrough.
I've finished undertale years ago but I've never known about Undyne's neutral death, and holy shit does it hit hard.
I ended up rooting for undyne in this but it was really hard to watch..
Too much determination for her body to handle, actually. It's only everyone's unified wish to defeat the kid in the Genocide route that allows her to hold together for that fight.
That is the things, monster doesn t have that will power to do it, undyne wasn t convinced at 100 % that we were enemy to her, so she couldn t actually transform, i hope she will do the genocide
yeah I wa spretty taken aback when I thought her in my first playthrough, and this combined with papyrus' phone call made me restart and redo the fight because I was sad :c
Its actually because she didnt want to protect all people, she couldnt transform because her goal was to kill you.
Rushia, after murderering Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, and hundreds of monsters: Why are you trying to make ME the villain here?
Sans: it's almost like killing people is a bad thing or something, huh.
Well most of the monsters are attacking you in a way that can kill you, now she doesn't have to kill them eventually, but it could be argued that it's self defense
Not necessarily villainous to not be merciful.
@@Normg49 that is true, and in fact Sans admits it could've been self defence or even accidents when he judges you with low LV during new game +, but at highet levels he scolds you(albeit in his own dissafected, joking manner) because at that point you either don't care enough to try to find an alternate paths (medium LVs where you played this game as a Standard RPG) or even on purpose( You Grinded levels to get better stats or just see what his judgement would've been at that level, and of course, Genocide were you grind. With the explicit purpose of killing EVERYONE)
He also notes that the pacifist Route is not necesarily the "nice route", if you pay atention during the ruins segment, while Toriel hints you into using the ACT commands, the froggits tell you you can hurt monsters enough to enable the mercy options without having to finish them off, you can beat nearly everyone to an inch if their lives, but as long as you flee or spare them you still are on a pacifist route, even undyne, one of the few exceptions you can't spare at low HP, her dialogue yells at you use RUN instead)
Paraphrasing his dialogue from the Pacifist judgement, it doesn't mean mean you are a saint or anything, but you still preserverd some tendernessin your heart, you can fight the monsters claiming self-defence, but as long as you don't unnecesarily finish them off you can still be considered a descent person.
Part of Undertale's impact was precisely it doesn't blindly follow the tradition of using monsters as XP fodder and instead question the morality of it
@@Normg49 tho Toriel holds back at some point and Papyrus actually was sparing her when she brutally murdered him.
Shit, this is actually really interesting. Making your villain genuinely confused as to why heroes stand in their way, all while feeling determination and heroic spirit themselves.
That why im interested in this particular Green Haired vtuber, she is a different breed, this is what Toby Fox wanted.
@@019self9 isn't he talking about the undyne battle not the vtuber
@@0123-y5i In this case, the "villain" could be both. It could be Undyne, feeling heroic in striking down an opponent that threatens the future of their society (due to Rushia's LV). It could also be Rushia, striking down everyone in her way to escape the underground.
Undyne Neutral Actual Battle is kinda rare when it comes to let's plays of Undertale. Even in Blind playthroughs, most streamers get the picture by Papyrus, and with Undyne they start to actually look for ways out of killing.
It's a great scene that doesn't get shown much, With Undyne barely hanging on even post "death" and really hammers home how much of a Hero she is.
It also helps to drive home how monstrous the player is for what they've likely been doing up until that point. I'd say it's almost about as powerful as Sans questioning you for killing Papyrus, of all people.
it also greatly foreshadows how Determination has a strange effect on monsters
I actually killed her because i thought that not being able to run was a figure of speech
@@PlasticShitlord You fool! You fell for the classic blunder!
(I did the same thing, I went back and tried to find a peaceful solution because the phone call from papyrus made me sad :c)
@@sarafontanini7051 i committed instead. Ended up with Mettaton ending, never regretted it, from the first time player perspective
“I’ve got ribbons with little skulls on them. Chat... are we the baddies?”
XD that's some german empire stuff
Later:
"... Why little skulls?"
It's just sans and papyrus. 🤷♂️
i really love her playthrough, she reminds Undertale's fanbase that there is a thousand way of playing Undertale, and not sparing anyone but not actively looking for people to kill either is one of those ways, the neutral ending feels incomplete on its own but it still helps in realizing how powerful the two other endings are.
And a lot of people are killing that game's magic by denying every ending that isn't pacifist or genocide.
Now i hope her full playthrough gets subtitled in English eventually so overseas fans, me included, can truly profit of her "wisdom"
Rushia: MAKE YOUR OWN HOPE!!!
Undyne: WHY DO YOU THINK I'M FIGHTING YOU?!?!
@@SeekSeekLest Granted, it's the lives of 7 children vs all of monster kind.
@@SeekSeekLest there can be an argument made for that though, as he could be discouraged, losing both his sons against humans when even Asriel had the soul of Chara, not knowing really if they fought or not, and with that, Asgore became unwilling to fight the humans on the surface, as well as to instill hope within the Monsters in the Underground by ensuring that the King of Monsters lives still, and will bring hope to everyone else
@@SeekSeekLest @Antoni I feel like you forgot about the barrier. No monster can leave the underground, so the only humans they've even had access to since becoming imprisoned are the kids that occasionally fall down. Once they've collected exactly 7 human souls, they can break the barrier and return to the surface.
@@Gerelos you can get trough the barrier if you have a human soul and a monster soul. Thats how the player escapes the underground, ALLEGEDLY with Asgores soul, although I have my own theories that its corrupted Chara's soul that you use to escape. Toriel critizises Asgore for not doing that if he really wanted to free the people.
@@SeekSeekLest Undyne canonically never killed the fallen humans. Because she was just a child or didn't even born when these children felt down. Undyne barely has 16 or 18 years old.
Would love to see a translation of when she read Asriel's story and started tearing up. Really love this neutral route playthrough of Rushia, which wouldn't have happened if backseaters got their way. The REGRET was a lot more palpable.
Backseaters have no effect on 'determined' Rushia
I don't get how people are so bent over doing full pacifist or genocide. This scene hit way harder than either of those
Yeah...
I respectfully disagree. This scene hit hard, but the genocide one hit way harder once you've seen the neutral and pacifist route. Hell, I'll even say the pacifist route is nice on a first playthrough, but it's way better after a neutral run as it hit way harder, and the genocide one is really bad on a first playthrough, but great after a neutral and a pacifist runs. The neutral run, in my opinion, is the base for a really great game and it's better to play through it, but the other routes will be better if you play the neutral route first. But that's only my opinion.
I believe experiencing all routes would actually explain everýthing more clearly to blind playthroughs.
Ex. The effects of "determination" on monsters as demonstrated in this fight will only be seen first-hand by killing undyne compared to seeing alphys' test subjects in pacifist.
@@rebaxbayushi577 I agree. I love "battle against a true hero," and seeing how hard she's fighting, knowing that she's trying to save monsters AND humans from the player. That hits me where I live.
Eh... I disagree. This hits way harder when you've seen Pacifist and Genocide a million times and never played Neutral, but nothing in any Neutral run compares to your first time experiencing the high points of full Pacifist or Genocide. That said, as someone who has seen Pacifist and Genocide done six billion times, I appreciate content creators doing blind Neutral runs like Rushia because it lets me see angles of the game I don't often get to experience.
_"She was really trying to make me out as a devil"_ said Papyrus's murderer calmly
The editing is super extra and also super appreciated
Thank you! :D I'm glad to hear that
But Rushia is a Necromancer... She's the villain...
Don't worry Rushia you can resurrect Undyne again with your powers xD
She cant resurrect Undyne, or any Monsters she killed
A Necromancer can resurrect corpses, But they can't resurrect dust
@Mangy The Vixen maybe she can and you just don’t know
@@somedude2468 i imagine doing so would be much harder
This is really amazing! I hope we could see all of Rushia's reactions on her neutral route. Because it is all genuine reactions and is truly a gamer moment for an Undertale playthrough. Thank you very much for the translation man >0
:D Thank you for the kind comment! Hope to cover more of those reactions:)
I'm glad someone killed Undyne neutral, it's one of my favorite scenes in Undertale but every time someone streams it chat keeps spamming to run away -_-
The backseat gaming when it comes to the undertale fandom is frustrating.
Rushia kills everyone. "Wait am I the bad guy?"
At 4:02 ,
"Do you have Hinamizawa Syndrome?!"
As the cute midori-gami necromancer cat says the word, the only thing came to mind is the scene from that one anime.
Yes, Higurashi
It was an unexpected reference, but a very welcome one! :D
Thanks for the clip.
I look forward to more Rushia's undertale
Off topic, I don't know whether this is intentional or not, but putting ! at your channel's name is a genius move. I accidentally pressed the subscribe button which I already subscribed before, then youtube asked like "Unsubscribe from (enter name)!?" as if even the AI is surprised someone would even think of unsubscribing from this channel XD. Legit made me surprised lol. Anyways, thanks for the video as always!
HAHAHAHA It wasn't intentional but to see RUclips-kun helping me out in this subtle way is hilarious XD
Rushia's playthrough shows the power of an actual blind run of neutral route. Making you feel guilty for all the actions you took, making you the villain. I used to overlook N route preferring P and G, but neither route is capable of that first stab into your heart, tearing apart everything you thought you knew about games.
Rushia wasn't the villain before? 👁👄👁
7:23 did rushia accidentally blocked that yellow arrow before it managed to switch to the oposite side?
yes
When an entire race of monsters calls Rushia flat:
That's be genocide
That's be genocide
3:58
Unexpected Higurashi reference is unexpected.
Seems Rushia has good taste. Marine also made an Umineko reference during her fight with Flowey.
Hauuuu~
3:20 she just kinda did a talk no jutsu there..
It might seem cruel but I don't really blame Rushia, the monsters are always swinging at you or threatening how they'll kill you and take away your soul, so Rushia is just defending herself.
LOL Especially for Undyne, she goes "Why won't you die, you little brat!?" which is a pretty villain-y thing to say XD
@@Charlotte_TL
Yes. Rushia gives the vibe of a person who will fight back as long as the enemy is aggressive, so in her eyes if the enemy wants mercy they have to lower their arms first.
Papyrus can't kill u & yet she killed him
I don't blame her cuz she don't know she can spare
@@HY-if9ct
I think she knew about the spare mechanic, there's a tutorial for that, but what she didn't know was the "meta" of sparing. She'll show no mercy as long as the enemy is trying to deal damage to her, and I respect that.
@@meleemastermaa1449 Thing is, she got to the point where Papyrus was sparing her. He was no longer aggressive and she killed him... Soooooo, yeah.
"I'll defeat them, one by one, I'll defeat them."
Sasuga necromancer👏 no mercy!
4:01 lost it at the higurashi reference
Wow in all the playthroughs I've watched ive never seen that scene, undertale is always so touching its crazy
Rushia referencing Higurashi (the mention of Hinamizawa Syndrome) while playing Undertale. Two of my high school obsessions combined. XD
I’ve never even thought about killing Undyne on a blind, mostly neutral playthrough before. I loved the end of the fight, “an ending” playing as she fights her final fight… powerful stuff.
Undyne: "Papyrus didn't come to his meeting today."
Rushia: (In pain, sorrow and regret)
【 i like how Rushia charge herself more D E T E R M I N A T I O N with her tea 】
This girl is the TRUE moster.
Rushia: I Just Keep Moving Forward. .. Until All My Enemies Are Destroyed...
Rushia literally pulled an *Uno Reverse Card*
Necromancer killing monsters then reviving them
she's gathering her army I suppose
Just at one level to fight the undying 💀
Can’t believe we will never get these kinds of moments of Rushia again. o7 never forget
"How strong do you think you are?" ... 2 seconds later "She's strong!"
Rushias playthrough has been a blast. The neutral route is a lot more interesting when you play it naturally instead of as another pacifist run with a different ending. people forget but that's what this game was all about when it came out.
On minute 12:19 you can heard Rushia is crying a bit more with that music it makes you feel sad kill undyne . Rushia's undertale playtrough is the best .
This is definitely one of the saddest and worst death, it s not about her death, it s how she wasn t afraid of throwing her life away just to save all of them, at least giving them some time to escape, and after the papyrus do you want anything, and i still belive in you, and probably even after toriel, still so god damn sad
"Do you have Hinamizawa Syndrome?"
Didn't expect that reference 🤣
holy fuck this was intense
This Rushia Undyne fight it's so sad even we can hear her holding her tears.
Where have you gone Charlotte? It’s been 3 months ;-;
Desde ese momento 10:49 a se la escuchaba triste a la linda Ru-chan incluso se la esucha llorando mientras le da el ultimo golpe a Undyne.
Undertale, The game where you feel empty after every boss defeated
Meanwhile, at this exact moment, she can't beat Undine for hours alredy.
In genocide?
I believe "byakugan" is a reference to Neji's defensive technique in Naruto, assuming Rushia is otaku af
Literally me when I played Undertale for the first time, lol
That When they cry mention tho lol
Wait a second... Wasn't all the in-game text in Japanese? Don't tell me that- OH, SUBARAMAZING EDIT
THANK YOU! :D I'm glad you appreciate it:)
1% of people know you can hear ZUNpets in Undyne's Genocide theme.
4:41
Undyne: "HAH! Prank'd!"
The beginning of the boss bgm really reminds me of Passionate Duelist. I cannot unhear it.
Edit: I wonder if I'm the only who think that.
I see what's going on here. I'm not gonna question it
So Rushia went full psychopath on her first run, huh? Interesting.
_One_ mass murder and suddenly everybody starts acting like you're the bad guy. :/
i think this hits harder than genocide...
Man undertale makes a great job making you feel like an asshole
Ive never seen the speech of undyne post Papyrus death... Its kind of grieving compared to the genocide escene
I honestly enjoy the neutral route more than the pacifist and genocide routes since there are so many different dialogues depending on what you decide to do. I remember how toxic people were when a youtuber tried to just play the game instead of doing pacifist or genocide routes, they always got shit for just playing the game and it was disappointing
5:29 don't mind this
2:53 I think she said wall and not shield
Good catch, you're right!
I just translated it that way to fit the context better:)
After All this Rage and slamming Dest-Kun. I remember what Anger Leads too.
The Angry Villains who Killed.
I've literally never seen a blind playthrough, what the hell.
Rushia way of thinking makes me mad, her entire Undertale playthrough is quite unique and different from a lot of people, she´s kinda "delusional" but it is great-
only the personality she displays matches her in an interesting way, considering Rushia's yandere personality you are basically a friend until you try to legitimately hurt her, from that point no you are no longer a friend or a hero to her, you are her enemy and the villain no matter how much the enemy begs she wont let them live! "You brought this upon yourself" - someone
Where'd you go?
Why I like Undyne? This
toby fox when watching this: Finally, someone playing the game as intended.
Also toby fox: KILL THEM HAHAHAHAHA
Also also toby fox: This is my fetish now.
The music is truly based on Touhou, the ZUNpets are strong as a Touhou song would sound, but still, sounds more chiptune than it should be, not like the PC-98 series but very Chiptune for beign a Windows Era game, its really strange, like, it just doesn't add up at all
New Anime Title: My Necromancer Can't be This Dense! Coming 2021
Wasn't she always? She craved blood from the start.
Me no like how ruthless she is
Isn't it amazing the lengths we can go to to convince ourselves we aren't the bad guys?
Maybe don't try to kill people and they won't kill you. Every single monster that died picked the fight first with Frisk and got clapped for their idiocy.
Anyone know the outro song?
It's a rendition of the Alice in Wonderland theme I made some time ago! :D The link is in the description
Zannen undyne not have plot armor.
Rushia is having a hard time understanding that genocide is a bad thing. This is why for as cute as she is, we must be wary my brothers and never forget her war crimes!
Wait is this the neutral route or genocide hmm
Blind Neutral. The way it was meant to be played. She's even using a notebook as a weapon. A silly weapon that oddly really makes you think this game wants you to fight

@@yogsothoth915 But didn't she already do a neutral run tho?
@@BiIafy this was that natural run. Any run outside of pacifist and genocide is considered neutral. There are tons of different interactions and endings for neutral. What she did was considered "merciless", it can happen if you are too used to RPG fighting. because she thought of the "mercy" tab as the "run away" option. She was gaining lvs so she assumed she was doing it right.she didn't even spare Flowey or try to spare Asgore. Because Flowey is Flowey and she didn't trust Asgore.. if you kill the enemy's who tell you Asgore's story before you reach him, they obviously won't be alive to tell you how he's basically king Arthur.
The fact that many people including Rushia say that their enemies are not fighting fair or that they are mean to them
is so ironic.
I mean what do you think will happen when you kill all their friends? Lmao

I kinda want the girls to play fangames of undertale like last breath www, pretty sure they won't
Knowing what happened w rushia/mikeneko and mafu mafu... undyne was right all along huh..
not a hater but her lack of remorse made this video so " " , idk what word to use that wont offend her fans.
Don't worry most of her fan joked about her being extremely dangerous girl, for a good reason. Even if you say it, most of us would think you're joking
Tbf shes playing it like every other rpg out there, its kinda the point of the neutral run.
I actually think she felt really remorseful despite how it looks on the surface. You can tell how much she’s trying to convince herself that Undyne is the enemy and not her, and how as Undyne dies she gets MUCH more quiet. Her way of speaking my feels so hammed up, it’s like she’s putting on this exterior of “I am right, you are wrong;” it’s a coping mechanism almost, and if you see the Sans judgement she gets, it only solidifies that she does indeed, in some form, regret her decisions.
People do this in the Genocide route too. Steamers and lets players will go “I’m sorry X, but Frisk is doing it, not me!” Completely avoiding the realization that THEY’RE the ones who have chosen to kill all the monsters and instead making themselves out to be the hero in a reality when they’re in the wrong.
