Wow - the people you met in the village were so lovely and generous. Thank you for showing us a glimpse of their life. I smiled all the way through this vlog.
What a beautiful interaction with the people if the village and voiceover to explain the experience. Thank you for bringing humanity back into our lives
I love ❤️ it! Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to stay traveling even though I returned to America. Armenia was in my list and I hope I can get there soon! Again I love the simplicity of your videos because they show the real world and you both are so cute together!
Thank you so much Eleonor 🤗 really means the world to us, happy to see that you are watching our videos 🥰❤️ Hope you are doing well and will enjoy Armenia when you get there 🥰❤️
this is what i love of travel vloggers exploring village / country life , its an unassuming lifestyle , houses / gardens / backyard the beauty is natura and its the real beauty of it, l even if not well manicured - thats why daily life is unscripted , people are not paranoid too.
I was introduced to your videos through my love of Georgia and your video of exploring Tbilisi and now I'm exploring the rest of the Caucasus with you! Would love to visit this beautiful country someday. What kind people.
Another great video! The Armenian food video aswell. I was in Yerevan on business Sept. 2021 and it was a great trip, had time to visit Garni, Geghard, Noravank and Sevan - a lovely country and very nice people. Nice touch with the UNO card game, guys :)
This is definitely my kind of travel right here I love to experience other cultures...such nice people..love the Armenians...I have an Armenian friend also such beautiful people honestly....thanks for sharing your adventure....
I want to come to Armenia to study Masters and I'm thinking of living in farmhouse close to Yerevan to raise some animals and grow covercrops. Can't wait to be there.
I'm from Cali but I plan on retiring in ten years, to live in an Armenian village. I miss the people, the nature and the simple life. Giving up a bit of comfort for freedom is what I prefer as well.
You are lucky speaking Russian. This really helps interact with the locals. But also with English or talking via "hand and feet" will get you in touch with lovely Armenian people.
Thanks for the fascinating glimpse into village life in Armenia. Poor people, but so hospitable and friendly and generous! Makes one realise how privileged we are... Wonderful how self-sufficient they are, growing their own fresh food (and stoking their own alcohol! 😎😉). Beautiful Armenian countryside as well. You did extremely well with the milking Julia! Maybe slow, but with such good technique! 🧐🤩
I visited some very remote villages in the north of Armenia and we got SO many invitations to have food and coffee-- a few people even gave us Armenian BBQ! Some of the nicest people I've ever met. Maybe not very wealthy, but definitely people who know how to love life and treat others. People who are connected to both people around them and to nature
They are richer than average american. In US if only you take away all the loans and credits, most of them fall into poverty. At least they can eat fresh and heathy food and have roof on the head.
What incredible people. They truly welcomed you with open arms. Everything looked amazing. It’s sad that surrounded by such beauty the people are so poor money wise. They are rich in their love and culture and nature though. I’ve loved all of your travels. Amazing. Stay safe. ❤️❤️
Nice village. People seem to be very nice. Beautiful Landscape. Looks a very planned village. Construction all around well planned not haphazardly built buildings. View from the cable car is breathtaking n Monastery is beautiful
Great video Matt and Julia. Your open and positive attitudes makes all your experiences that much better. One bit of small advice, the guy in the car that was trying to sell you his pomegranate wine - would have been good if you bought it and taken with you to the family that you were staying with. In Armenian culture, we find it good etiquette to always take something with you when entering as guests so that you are not "tser dadark" (empty handed)..
Thank you very much Denny 🤗 The hosts were making their own wine, we were worried that they might take it as offence you know 😊 P. S. Also, we paid for everything, we didn't just expect everyone to give us everything like they have to😊
@@MattandJulia oh please do t misunderstand my meaning; i know your not freeloaders 😜This is completely separate from money - more a spiritual gesture for a "full house". I see ur point about the wine. maybe something else then. A bottle of cognac is common. Anyway just my humble advise on small nuances of cultures. Keep on doing your thing, you guys are beautiful.
Really nice video. I have to visit Armenia and also Georgia. The food, culture and people seem incredible. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
Доброе утро. Молодцы всё красиво снято.Мне всегда уливлает почему все кто бывает в Татеве не спускаются в ущелье под мостом сатаны мне кажется это самый уникальный, красивый место в Армении созданным природы. Будьте здоровым.

Many people throughout the former Soviet Union speak Russian as either a first or second language. It is a 'lingua franca' throughout this part of the world. Regarding Armenians in particular, they learn Russian at school and many actually work in Russia both seasonally and/or full time 🙂

Telecom engineers here in the UK may get a much higher pension but I doubt their quality of life is anywhere near this level.
Unfortunately it seems to be a reoccurring theme around the world, costs go up, wages don't.
I would
Love you move
Armenia was the first country to have people after the flood. God's people
😍😍😍😍 Julia 😍😍😍😍
Milking cow
