Fortnite isn't maxed out, nanite lumen on epic will give a big perf hit. Even on 1080p in software raytracing get below 60 fps. In this vdo you using Epic setting with lumen disabled but mentioned max in vdo.
I played with the 6700xt at 1440p resolution, nanite was on and even then it didn't drop below 60fps. I don't think it will drop at 1080p. Lumen does not effect amd cards like nvdia's rtx they are different ways to produce ray tracing. It was wrong to write max in the video, I agree on that.

The 5800x3d beats even the 5800x by a landslide on games. If your budget allows it, definitely go for the x3d. Do note that it's a CPU with a heavy focus on gaming. It has a lower clock speed than other cpus in the same "tier", the boost on performance comes from the bigger cache. Have it in mind if you care about stuff like rendering.
The frames that your graphics card produces and the refresh rate of your monitor can be different and don’t sync up. Things like v sync and frame rate caps might be the reason you maybe can’t go past your screens refresh rate
@@BianchiLuke87 no getting more frames than your monitors refresh rate isn't useful so I usually will cap it. It's nice because you can turn up graphics settings if your gpu is more powerful.
Power supply is for the whole unit so it would help to know the build you are looking at. Regardless, 450W seems low for most builds these days. Rules of building or buying, don't underestimate the importance of your RAM, Mobo, and power supply

don't use an x3d chip for benchmarks, it makes performance better but most cpus don't have 3d v-cache so its not universal
