WORD OF GOD BREAK EVERY CHAIN BY PASTOR SIAGIGI VAAFUSUAGA
LUKA / LUKE 4:18-19
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
i) PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR
If you have everything in life but don't have Jesus Christ you have nothing.
ii) TO HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED
Anger, bitterness and brokenness in your heart. Jesus has come to heal. Not a church, saint, or man of God.
Only Jesus Christ can lift the burdens and break every yoke in your life.
iii) HE CAME TO PROCLAIM LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES
There are false doctrines that only preach mercy, grace and the love of God but what about the justice of God and never preach heaven and hell.
God is a loving God but don't ever forget that God is a God of justice.
No matter what sin you are caught up in. We fall short of the Glory of God. We need salvation through Jesus.
FAAALIGA / REVELATION 20:15
"And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire."
HOW DO WE ENSURE OUR NAME IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE?
Only if we accept Jesus as our personal saviour.
Its not by works but by grace we are saved. Eternal life is a gift through Jesus the way, the truth and the life. No one goes to the Father except through Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the only way, not one of the ways. Enter the narrow gate. Because there is only one way through Jesus.
iv) AND RECOVER SIGHT TO THE BLIND
v) SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED
vi) TO PROCLAIM THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD
HOW?
a) ADMIT
Admit to Jesus you're a sinner
Go with a contrite spirit and be broken before God and don't hide anything from your father in heaven.
b) BELIEVE
Believe that only Jesus Christ and the power of his blood is powerful enough to cleanse any sin. No sin is too big for the blood of Jesus Christ.
c) CONFESS
Confess with your mouth and believe with your heart.
Be humble in heart and approach God with humility and in all your brokenness.
ROMA / ROMANS 10:9
"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
