Hey there it's only because you need to make sure you connect them on the reference frame. In the tracker you can set a reference frame where every value is zero for that frame. I didn't do that so my translate already has values which move the roto. If reference frame is not available (for example manually keyframed transform) you can just "add expression" and 'add' or 'subtract' the inverse for each animatef value manually to get 0 on the frame you want to link.
