    Hello, great that i found you. how can i do this in blender. exporting camera tracker from nuke to object tracker in blender. i want to understand this object tracking thing very much.
    please any advise will go a long way. just show me the steps written or video tut. this will help me a lot. cos i have been thinking if i have made the wrong choice of learning blender instead of Maya. all the tuts i see as an aspiring visual effect is about Maya.
    example: Pf track to Maya, 3DE to Maya, set fitting in Maya, all Maya. less of blender as in regard this. i need help. i love blender and i believe it can do the same just don't know how yet.

      Hello sorry for the super late reply but RUclips doesn't show me all my comments so I have to meticulously comb through and find each one. I have been working on trying to do this in Blender but I just haven't had the time to solve it or the need. If I ever solve it I will definitely make a tutorial about it.

    Hi Mario Cazares, thanks for the tutorial, is there any ways to export tracker node or just a simple moving tracks to 3d application from Nuke? I want to attach an object to point tracker.

      Hello I've actually been trying to research this myself as I needed this many times for work and I haven't found a way yet. If I do though I'll do a tutorial right away

      You can probably import 2d tracks as user tracks into a camera tracker node solve for Z and export those tracks as an asci file to maya

    Hi, what would be the opposite way? Object tracking and assign the tracker to an Maya object?

    what if camera and object both are moving then how you or me can do that in maya

    • @marioCazares
      @marioCazares  4 года назад

      The process would be a lot more complex and would take some more research and experimentation. These days I use Blender to track the camera and then "object tracking" in blender to track the objects in the scene. I haven't used Maya for about a year now so I'm not sure how it would be done there

    Hello Mario, great video!
    So since this is basically the only video about this topic anyone has ever created..
    is there any chance you could do a more in depth-tutorial on converting camera tracking data to object Tracking data?
    I also created a topic on BlenderArtists:
    blenderartists.org/t/how-to-use-camera-tracking-data-as-object-tracking-data-in-blender/1183621
    As you can see I am trying to replicate what you did with Blender and the Adobe After Effects in-built-camera Tracker.
    But after many failed attempts I dont really know how to achieve this... I would definitely appreciate your help, thanks!

      Hey! Sorry I've been away from RUclips for a while. I'm glad to see fellow Blender artists and would love to help if it's not too late. I work a lot these days and so it may be hard to commit a lot of time to this but let me know if you're still interested in this working with Blender and AE. I also bookmarked your BlenderArtist post
