I know this was a year ago, but I just saw this now. I'd like to say that The Quintanilla Family, Abraham wrote in the media that Chris was hired to play guitar, that he was an employee. Therefore, IF Chris is an employee, he can do whatever the F*** he wants to do on his spare time. Abraham wants to be in control. He doesn't have Selena now and suddenly he thinks Chris belongs to him. Not the case. The fact that they acted as though their opinion on what Chris can and can't do mattered and was the final word is so disrespectful..This is the man that Selena loves. Because even after death, you take your love with you. They should be embracing Chris and helping him with his career.. Instead, they want to control. Joining a band doesn't mean you belong to the band. As Abraham said, "He's just an employee." (He said this AFTER Selena passed away.) I hope Chris does his thing. I see him and I smile because I'm happy Selena got to know love before she passed away. She felt his love and she loved him back and that's a blessing many people don't get to experience in a full lifetime. He's a good man. That's why she loved him. It's sad that they blocked a movie based on his book yet have a series now. They should get permission from him to continuously have Chris' likeness in movies or series. Abraham was always wary of Chris or anyone that he felt threatened by bc he didn't want anything coming between his family and empire he had worked so hard to build. Because of Chris, she knew love, and had a chance to be married. One of the most beautiful experiences in life, so much more important than making popular records.
