Pro Tip: Putting "Sambo" over the Black guy could be taken the wrong way by looney, SJW types. I know it's just the name of the Russian grapple-sport, but it has different connotations in the US, historically.

@@youmang it's an alleged old racial slur. I think it came from a children's book called "Little Black Sambo." written by a Scottish person, about a child from India. Was banned from being published further in the late 80's.

Your jiu jitsu is absolutely insane for sure. It would have been interesting to engage with him in Sambo rules or (since I don't think you're interested in MMA) maybe combat bjj rules. Because although I think it's clear you BJJ is higher level than his, he does an incredible job working with your high level game, which I think speaks to the fact that rules have him hemmed in a bit (which he's clearly fine with). But my point is, he seems pretty talented to hang in there.
In case no one else has ever pointed it out, I enjoy how much you enunciate both "t's" in "flatten".

@@youmang he's r8 he just didn't explain the way he should've, there's combat sambo where u can punch, kick,elbow,knee and headbut with gnp and u can knee, use 12 2 6 elbows and headbut just like on the feet and also use all kind takedowns,trips,sweeps and throws and all kinds of submissions and then there's is the traditional sambo where u don't use all what just mentioned only grappling,wrestling and submissions, anyway both r legit

@@Ej_David An important differentiator in grappling is whether there was force before or after the contact. If there was significant force behind the stomp, then it would be illegal. Since he stepped on his arm without prior force, it isn't considered a stomp. A better way to look at it would be kicks. If there was force before the point of contact, it would be a kick. If he had placed his leg on his torso and then applied force, it would be a push or shove.

A guy who is already starting from guard while being from a sport that is centered around takedowns.
If you are going to compete, compete.
But do not pretend sparring a guy outside his own sport in a crowded room who is there to work his game is a match.

@@youmang I have amateur mma and kickboxing experience, and full disclosure, it annoys me if I accidentally say fight, or someone else says I have a fight coming up. In reality, it's a competition or match, and I try to represent that.
In this vid though he's talking about a "fight" when it's just a roll during practice, it's not even a competition for anyone but him. 🤡
