And it's my favourite area theme in Dawntrail, that also shares its melodies with the Worqor Zormor dungeon and the Valigarmanda trial. Yasaki just keeps exceeding my expectations.
Im Peruvian and as a bit of trivia, Urqu, Urco, Orco, etc, in quechua means mountain, and Pacha land, so you can say this is the land of mountains. Even if there are a few things out of place, I really love this type of representation in media.

Now Dawntrail is live this zone probably reminds OP of his home.
Is anyone else getting OG Final Fantasy vibes from Dawntrail music so far? My youthful gamer child is havbing nostalgic moments of older FF's while listening to this new expansion music (TY for posting these!)
I loved this area and music so much. I’m just a white guy but it was so cool being in this area because I just knew this was straight up Peru. And if I’m feeling excited being here, then I couldn’t imagine what the Peruvian and South American fans were feeling. It was so amazing.
@@Professor_Utonium_ I didn’t really mean to. I was trying to (very poorly) say that it was so cool being in this area even though I’m so far removed from the culture. So for people who are Peruvian, it must have been indescribable. But yeah I worded this very poorly.
While not directly from Perú I am South American and I can say Urqopacha, Kozama'uka and Yak T'el are really well done! The architecture of Tuliyollal with all its steepness too. That being said someone has to tell some of the devs there are more latin countries aside from Mexico tho, we do NOT all eat tacos, heck not even Mexicans eat that much taco according to people I know. That's a tangent tho. As for the music Urqopacha and Kozama'uka's music feels very nice in style when it comes to music here (especially the 91 dungeon theme!) but Yak T'el's music doesn't feel South American at all, feels like Soken was trying too hard to make Raktika 2 music-wise.
@@hideharu-xiii8852 Oh, I never responded to this but meant to. Sorry for the initial confusion on my part. I get what you're saying now. Being part of shared hype over something like that must have been pretty cool.
@@LZ02-OVERTURE Yeah I agree with Yak T’el. It’s a great track, but definitely not South American. It’s great to hear from a South American native’s perspective that they did a great job for the most part though!
It definitely does, the first thing I thought of was Skies of a Strange Land and Land of Blue Skies from CS1's soundtrack. That along with the geography being just my kinda thing has made this by far my favourite area in the game. :D

This music reminds me of Moonlighter, a game with similar aesthetics to Urqopacha. It's been a few years since last I played Moonlighter, but entering this zone and hearing this music made me want to play Moonlighter all over again.
Im from Perú and this is pretty accurate for the highlands music, but the thing i dont like is thay there arent that many (or even any at all) dishes from peru
I remember being disappointed at the lack of borgar when Endwalker first dropped due to that cutscene with the takeout, only for it to be added as a master recipe at the first raid tier. You may still be pleasantly surprised yet.
Oh so that’s where I was getting the vibes from. I walked into this zone and was like “wait, why does this sound like something I’ve heard before but haven’t as well”
Something I've noticed about these day themes is that they seem to travel over the area they belong to. Sharlayan's Day Theme syncs up nicely with the trip from the harbor to the Rostra. This feels like it's traveling from the plains to the glorious mountains. Sadly, as this beautiful music promises me exploration and grand sights, I'm stuck doing a chain of mandatory fetch quests. I hope I can be free, soon.

Confirmed to be both composed and arranged by Saya Yasaki! Marking the first time a day theme has 100% been composed by someone that isn't Soken.

As a Peruvian I cried being here
Yeah but i didnt like that they didnt say: "habla pe causa" every 3 phrases.

I get a little bit of Chrono Cross ost vibes too
I’m thinking more of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles spin-offs with this one
Same! And I don't really know where this comes from because Danwtrail music doesn't remind me of a specific FF game soundtrack (it's really the vibes)
It doesn't sound even a little like the chiptune overworld theme from FF1. But it does sound very nice.
@@MemoristCed Actually, you can hear the prelude melody at some points in the song so that certainly helps with nostalgia :D
My favorite theme of the zones in Dawntrail.
Right?!
2:00 I fell in love with this bit and I had to look it up
Edit: it reminds me a lot of Chrono Cross
oh my god yeah... the overall song gave me the same feelings as Chronomantique when I first heard it!
heck yes, this part immediately reminded me of Corridors of Time at its 0:54 mark
A little bit of Xenoblade vibes as well
This is my favourite part too!
Alot of this expansion reminds me of CC tbh
Strong nier replicant vibe
FINALLY. I thought I became crazy.
Right!! Hills of radiant wind
YESSS especially at 2:00
@N0VANT0 yeah I hear radiant wind and sea front for sure here I knew I wasn't going crazy.
I told my friend to get out of the sanctuary and listen to it because I knew he'd agree that it sounded like it came straight out of NieR
First time I heard this music in the trailer couldn't stop listening to one bit! And now we have a full song, I'm so happy :)

Music from Los Andes, this made me so emotional.
I remember i was high when i first got to this zone and ohy mgooodddd it was amazing.. i love urqopacha..
This gives heavy NieR Replicant plains music
first thing that came to my mind
There's something about this track that gives me a sense of fear/hightened alertness/sadness, yet it too tells me that everything is gonna be ok.

Because of your video , i bought the expansion❤❤
I can hear bits of 'Dedicated to moonlight'(Memphina's theme) in this and i love it

Why this song remind me of Sea Front from Nier replicant :o
as someone who first heard this in the benchmark, I can never unhear the mining and crafting sounds XD
I can't tell you how much I love Soken using a Rhodes piano in this one.
All these people saying Nier Replicant vibes have obviously never heard the Nier Gestalt soundtrack.
