Recently played through Psychonauts, 101% completion, and I absolutely enjoyed both The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy along with Invader Zim. You, sir, have quite the colorful and expressive voice and I appreciate you for that.
He also voiced one of Liquid Ocelot's soldiers in Metal Gear Solid 4. If you hit him with any of the emotion darts, he always sounded like Zim. It was interesting.

Richard Horvitz is by far the greatest voice actor in my opinion. I just did some fan art for him and posted it on my Insta. I grew up with him and didn`t even realize it til recently. Zim, Angry Beavers, and Billy & Mandy were three of my fav shows, and they were all him. And now he`s in Helluva Boss, another one of my favs. Like, this man is a god.

The thing about voice acting is, that even though their work is but a small part of the process, they have a long lasting and far greater impact on people than they realize.
GLaDOS: Prepare for surprise in three, two, one, the "a" and "g" are actually just portals I put in the video, I thought it would look cool, and it does
Richard Horvitz is the reason I love overly dramatic characters. I couldn't help but laugh when Richard/Zim cried his most bonkers scream following the death of follow robot army member Lawrence in 2019's _Enter the Florpus._ I swear, Richard is nothing short of a legend. 🫶🏻
I know this was like 4 years ago but if you’re still wondering, the internet has a wealth of resources on how to get into voice acting! Lots of helpful videos on RUclips exist (the How to Be an Online Voice Actor series on SBN3’s channel is great). You don’t have to go to a specific school or study a specific subject but you definitely should take acting classes (both regular acting and voice acting). Focus on getting the acting skills down first; voices are fun and all but it’s voice ACTING, so having a unique voice and no acting skills will not carry you as far as having solid acting skills but an average voice. Another recommendation I’d give you (and you’re probably already doing this!) is to watch a lot of shows, both animated and live action. Expose yourself to voice acting as much as possible, and learn what sounds good and why (and, conversely, what doesn’t sound good/isn’t convincing, and why). Think of it as research! Really fun research where you get to watch a lot of stuff and play a lot of games. Good luck!
Don't sell voice talent too short Richard, voices can make or break a character, you are Zim, I don't think anyone else could really have filled for him, much like Micheal Ironside IS Sam Fisher, when they switched his voice, it really didn't work.

ShamanMcLamie exactly
Well not always for example he basically reuses his Zim voice for Kaos in skylanders since they sound pretty much identical.
