Actually there if I remember right is tests that demonstrate method to actually Target memories about either movies or in this case games and do essentially turn them off so you can re-experience it for the first time again

I’m gonna make sure that my playthrough of Elden Ring before the DLCs release is the best playthrough. Shutting out articles, guides and lore channels. Shutting out social media. I want to experience it all for ME. I don’t want to make this playthough just a ‘precursor’ to the Expansion, but I want it to stand on its own feet to give me another magical experience.
I'm not a big fan of invading, there's no much reward for it for me since I like progresing through my world and don't really need the runes, I do love getting invaded, it's fun. But I don't want to go around with another guy just to be able to get invaded and the taunter's tongue isn't that good either since with that you get invaded just too much (or at least that happened to me, I got like 4 reds coming for me 1 after the other, couldn't even get Torrent out hahaha). I'm kinda wishing for areas like bloodborne where an enemy or something makes it so your world can be invaded normally without having to use anything, hell I would probably leave those enemies alive if they had perma-death or something hahahahaha
Yeah Taunter's Tongue makes it CONSTANT it's too much lol An idea of a "Rune Arc" shop has been kicked around so the rune arcs you get from invading you can use to buy whatever you want basically. I was really hoping the DLC would have invade areas like the swamp in ds3 or the tower from ds2, just a dedicated area where you know where you are going to get invaded. IDK pvp is all over the place.
Have you thought about how you want to experience Shadow of the Erdtree? Lmk down below
