The menu code to gain access to this secret menu also works for el5234 handsets. Different options after that but fiddling around I was able to find the registration clear option as well. Thanks allot for posting this vid!
Thanks a lot. It worked on my VTECH 6829. It cleared my registry. Then to register it back (to connect with my base) I hit several times OFF and/or # buttons on handset and also several times Find Handset button on the base. My stored numbers were erased, but that was easy fix to re-enter them. Cheers.
Thanks a lot. I did the same for Vtech CS6929 and it works great!
You are welcome, Nice to know!!! Please Subscribe!
I had the same issue with another vtech model. The fix shown works! :D
Thank you sir! Not sure why ATT does not post this info anywhere. Your solution worked! We had an old base station burn out due to lighting, so wanted to re-program a couple previous handsets to work with the new base. Very helpful.
New Ground Iowa You are welcome!!!
Why? Cause ATT SUCKS. They own the poles out at the street around here and after TWO years they will not remove the OLD ROTTEN pole despite putting a new one next to it. I was so pissed I stopped paying the monthly bill and terminated their service.
Thanks a lot. I figured there had to be a handset reset somewhere - you showed us how!
You are Welcome!!!
also you can try: Punch in *331734#MenuSelect (including the asterisk and the hash mark)
For BLT 102-4 handsets just put the handset into the base after Punching in *331734#MenuSelect
Thanks for the video. It didn't work for me at first, it just kept displaying the "Out of Range" message. I eventually left the OK on the screen for about 15 seconds, then disconnected the battery for about 15 seconds. Once I reconnected the battery, the handset was deregistered. :) I thought I'd put this information here in case anyone else has a similar problem.
Sorry to hear that It didn't work for you.
@@jvrhussle Well, you got me on the right track. Just a bit more fiddling around and it worked. My AT&T base stopped working, so I couldn't deregister it using the base. Once I disconnected and connected the battery, it was fine and I could register the handsets with my new Vtech base.
I think to re-register, you unplug the base for a minute, unplug the battery from the phone. Then re-plug everything back in, press the Handset Locator button on the base, then press # on the handset.
Why did you do a video half way? Now how do I know where to go from hear after I have cleared my registration
so did you post a vid on how to re register it?
Espada2234 no I didn’t 😀
@@jvrhussle do you plan to?
