Years and years ago, this man visited my father to play his harpsichord. I remember him playing these songs in our living room. It was truly magical.

I don´t even live in the US. However, this just appeared as a memory on FB from 2013. I was amazed then and I still am.

Don Angle plays on Von Nagel harpsichords. Reinhard von Nagel in Paris is one of the greatest harpsichord makers in the world. And Don is absolutely the master of that kind of music in the world. I was fortunate enough to hear several of his concerts in the Von Nagel workshop in Paris : unforgettable ! And he is so funny when he plays, his face expressions are incredible, he always seems to be astonished and surprised by what comes out from his hands (he never has a partition so it seems real magic when he plays). What a talent, though I love very much 18th century harpsichord music, I think this instrument did wait for Don Angle !

Very nice indeed to keep the harpsichord oeuvre alive this way. Arpeggios are very suitable for the instrument as is clearly demonstrated. It is well appreciated

You'll never hear a harpsichord as beautifully voiced as one by Don Angle!

your House of the Rising Sun made me think of Stairway to Heaven, and resulted in both of them appearing on a playlist of mine back to back. Beautiful work, and the harpsichord is rapidly becoming one of my favourite instruments.

I love the tone of this harpsichord...Any info on the maker? It doesn't sound familiar to me! Such a throaty tone!
