I was deep into a story I've been writing when suddenly I got inspired by the song "set fire to the rain" and now I am writing a story i called The arsonist that fell for the flames Name still in progress And all the other abandoned wips that I get so excited to write the endings to then shove away it's so painful
12:09 what i actually sometimes do is name characters after people in my life so that i write them more fairly. if i love the villain too much, i may not be able to write them fairly from the protagonist's pov, so i use a person that matches what the protagonist would think of the villain until i can change it to something else
I'm not naming my villains after people I don't like, in my novel, I gave three nice/interesting/important characters the first names of my three closest friends as middle names.
Orrr something that happened to me recently- I accidentally updated the chapters on my story out of order and had to re-edit like five chapters and go back and forth with the font bc it wouldn’t copy and paste directly onto the app! I wanted to scream man 🤧 especially when you’re a junior who has no time to write and has to spend their time doing extra curricular for future colleges 😭😭
