"Cersi may be vicious, but she's not stupid." That last part is the only wrong thing to come out of Lady Olenna's mouth. Cersi is the utter opposite of her father, not by gender but by temperament and cunning. She may be insightful when it comes to the game of thrones and its players but acts irrationally.

    • @xaviergarcia8342

Acting irrational doesn’t mean you’re stupid. Cersei knew about Tyrells all the time, that’s why she meaned she isn’t stupid. Cersei was right all the time about being agaisnt Margaery and Olenna, she never bought their “we’re so sweet and unharmed and don’t worry about us, we just want to feed the people and give roses to everyone”. I love Olenna and Margaery, they’re my favorite characters in the entire show, but let’s admit that the two of them were bitch*s towards Cersei since day 1.

See, THIS is why Game of Thrones was so good. The political maneuvering, the insidious manipulation of even the most stout of hearts, the betrayal, the long cons... the battles and spectacle were always fantastic, but the intrigue sections explained WHY those were happening and gave them weight. Some of the greatest battles in that story were waged in the shadows and in the King's court before they ever touched a battlefield.

Olenna did what should be done a long time ago 😂 If only Robert hasn't been a drunken fool and sent Joffrey away as a ward like Eddard and himself were. Even to Tywin who would not have let him tarnish the Lannister's name with his unuseful cruelty and his foolish actions. Cersei spoils anything she touches. Tommen and Myrcella were protected because they were not as precious as Joffrey to Cersei. Tyrion did well by sending Myrcella to Dorne (she ended up dead, but he could not have predicted Oberyn's death and Ellaria's wrath), away from her mother. He should have taken Tommen as well.
