You guys hit the big ones. I had a name for each guy. Even my own. I'm new to your podcast so I'm just getting to watch them. Definitely recommend you to others.
We just had our primary tools mounted right next to the door outside the engine. A set of irons and a couple hooks. Open the door, grab the tool off the mount in the deck and roll.
Great podcast; so funny how all of this is true in the fire service. From Florida C Shifter, (1 Station 5 Guys Per Shift) Can’t forget about the AC Temp in the station 1 Guy; 67 Me; 70 Other guy; 74 It’s a constant battle through out the shift what the temp is set at. 🤣 Just Subscribed
Curious. I've recently found you guys and think you're hilarious. You guys clearly cover the career firefighter perspectives. Some people love to hate on volunteers.... But have you thought about like having someone that volunteers out in the rural part of whatever area you're at. Or someone call in. And give the volunteers perspective. Areas where they don't receive daily calls but that's the only fire protection. Volunteer departments still make up a good portion of US fire protection. People still go to the station and hang out and goof off and train etc. It's just instead of being paid to sit at the station and wait for a call their likely with their family or doing their 9-5 or whatever they have to do to make $ for their family. They just have a desire to serve beyond that and drop what they're doing and respond when the tones drop.

Thank you so much brother! We really appreciate the feedback, and spreading the word! Cheers 🍻
The Picky eater… No matter what you make they throw a little fit and so you have to cook around that person every shift as if they are a 5 year old.
We just don’t let that guy eat with us 😂 eat your hot pockets buddy and 😂
A little late to the party, but the one upper.
Now those guys are the worst 😂 thanks for the comment!
Hey! That wasn't me who asked about your mom! I made the comment about guys watching videos on their phone at full volume. 🤣
I corrected him today at the station 😂 I saw him writing your name on the dry erase board in red marker over and over so I stepped in 😂😂😂
Tools in the cab mounted. Officer has halligan inside the door. Sledge or flat head in the rear.
I’m all for mounted tools ready to roll on the cab! Thanks for the comment man!
A lightning storm to set off all the fire alarms in the response district 😂
Gotta love it ⛈️ 😂
This show is awesome, so glad I came across you guys, hilarious, keep it up!
Thank you so much for the support, and for the kind words!!!!!❤️🔥
when i was a first in backseat guy, tnt was my tool. now as a driver thats only going interior outside the still, going ny hook all day
Love a good New York hook. Our captain always snags that and I go with the halligan or the pig!
We had an old driver that always had a cigarette in his mouth. We called him” smokin Dave”.
He sounds awesome 😂

Efficiency matters man
I would love for y’all to cover more fire fighter stuff like how to become a fireman and the academy
That’s on the list man! We appreciate the support! 🔥

Thanks brother! We appreciate it 🔥 74 degrees at the station is wild!!!
Murph is an artist! How long did you stare at that before you drew it? 😂
Right!?! A long time for sure 😂😂😂
How about the rookie that thinks they know everything. May not be a huge issue in the FD, but definitely a commonality in EMS!
They are also a huge issue for us, but I can only imagine some wild ems rookie 😂 don’t worry boys I got the ketamine! 😂

The one who always is asking people to stay late or come in early for them!
Man that guy is the worst…. 😒
In Detroit we actually do keep Axes in the Engine
Shout out to the mf Detroit boys🫡
There’s definitely companies that are mostly smells and bells companies.
For sure
Being in the fire service for just over a year now I still can’t figure out who I am
It takes time man! Just keep on keepin on and it’ll come!
Why is the title different types of firefighters, but I’m the first one?
Bro how could you guys forget about the fire departments guy 😂🙄
We missed quite a few 😂 we’ll have to do a part two for sure!
I wonder which firefighter I am as I pour my 3rd cup of coffee at 9am...
As your hands are shaking and teeth are chattering 😂😂😂☕️
Keto with a bucket of bacon😂
Classic keto diet 😂
The one who forgets parts of his gear
That guy 😂😂😂 “I lost my gloves!”
Hard charger
2/20 rookie

All solid suggestions! We’ll have to do a part 2 for sure! Thanks boss! 🔥
