The details are amazing. Whoever buys this boat is lucky. IMO even though 7 years old it's better than a factory-new craft. Owner is clearly beyond knowledgeable and has made so many high-quality, custom improvements. This is a real sailors cat. What a beautiful boat!

Because he wants an offer, I’ve seen this before. If it’s not big enough, he’s perfectly happy to charter the boat, but yet wants a bigger one. He’s done an amazing job designing and the layout. First opinion,,,,beautiful Catamaran, young man needs a haircut, he’s not 10 anymore.

Only two problems, it's a Lagoon and it's a 450. Watch Parlay Revival and David Shie Sails for the design flaws
And Sailing Nahoa. I would stay far away from any Lagoon.

@@jolyonferron4858 there is no proof the reinforcements will last, any new owner takes the risk and will know in 5 or 10 years time if it worked. The original bulkheads did not hold, what guarantee is there that the plaster will work? Brave man spending half a mill on something that has a know defect with a plaster over and the sell's assurance that it will hold. Other boats in the same price range

Why not give a price? It's not on the website either. It's not a sellers market anymore and it would be great to see asking price to know if it's in someone's range. Why the secret? Great boat, for sure. Dont be shy about posting the price. Jeez.

A regular 2015 goes for around $500k. This one has $300k of upgrades. Do the math.

It is a Lagoon though... 😱 I don't know if he did the re-enforcements that Lagoon sent out, but even so... The entire bulkheads would have to be rebuilt before I could touch one of those. I would be afraid to go out on a lagoon for a day sail even! UGH!!!! Sorry, but no thanks. You couldn't give me Lagoon 450!
He clearly stated that they had been reinforced and over done.
How would anyone know if these proposed "reinforcements" will hold up 10 years from now? Would you buy a car known for the axels to break even if there is a "patch" for this? Why bother, there are plenty other boats. Unless you just buy it to charter out. Crossing oceans however?
Totally agree. The Lagoon designed “fix” is very second rate. To do it properly you would have to totally deconstruct the boat like Parlay Revival did and fully glass in the bulkheads to the hulls. I very much doubt this was done to this boat.

At 1:00 they have the bulkhead issue addressed. It has been reinforced. He says a video of the repair is on his web site.
No doubt a fantastic boat... yet a downside for some sailors I know is that there's nothing to improve.

I mean yeah, a really nice boat. What is the asking price around? Yeah I know it is a seller market now, but I think can be around 800 k. Just thinking if it would be not a Lagoon... Sure it is definitely very spacious. But why would you upgrade like hell in 2022 and then sell it. Basically I can imagine you would loose money from the upgrades. And still it is a production boat and made for charter with 4 cabins.
Exactly what I think - why would you invest so much in upgrading and in the same year sell it? Is the going price really so much higher that you don't loose on the costs of all the upgrades?

I feel sorry for the Lagoon owners. These boats will always be tainted due to the bulkheads.

Tainted is being polite. I would say they should not be sailed offshore and are already effectively unsaleable because of the design flaw in the bulkheads.
@@kurtsmith2699 A bulkhead is a wall that subdivides the boat across the width of the boat They also provide structural rigidity and strength to prevent too much flexing when underway. This Lagoon 450 model was found to be having it's bulkheads splitting apart after a few years which could lead to the boat breaking apart in rough seas if not detected in time. The repairs are super expensive if they have to be done. Check out the Parlay Revival channel to get the complete details of the problem and repair.

He didn't say what type of lithium batteries they were. If they're lithium iron phosphate, they're much safer than lithium ion.

Why do you think? 450's are almost unsaleable due to the bulkhead design flaw, so he's trying to get out of this thing while he still can.

No interest, the design is undoubtedly flawed, a little bit of reinforcement is nowhere near enough for me to have any confidence in a 450.
@@davesober2093 Do you realize what he is referring to? If not, go educate yourself on Lagoons. The bulkheads are failing on their boats due to a design flaw.
