Umpire sucks, as usual. Why don’t the best plate callers just stay as home umpires, instead of having to rotate every four games. If three of the four are bad callers, then doesn’t it sense to keep the best to call balls and strikes? The leagues changes rules like no shifts but lives bad umpires to affect games! That’s why people don’t watch cause it’s a diluted, inconsistent, boring sport! All you see are strike outs, walks and home runs. No nuances, no special plays, video game like sport now.
6:11 Why is there a NY cop in the stadium? Taxpayers are not paying their taxes to have these cops monitor the fans. Yankees are a private organization. They should hire their own private security and not use cops. New York taxpayers don't know this?
Can't speak on NYC and NYPD but upstate if a company wants police presence they have to pay them from the company finances not via taxpayer money so its possible the yankees are paying to have them there not the taxpayers.
EVERY sporting event that I have attended with professional athletes have had BOTH police officers & EMT members at the games! How have you not noticed this beforehand is beyond me! The police officer is NOT there for "safety" reasons. He is there in case of an emergency if a player is injured. For goodness sake, at least 1 police officer is required to attend HIGH SCHOOL sporting events in ALL 50 STATES!
