These figures are actually premium figures for their range. I got both Joel and Ellie today and they nailed them for this price point. Compare it to Hasbro's Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Ghostbusters-line, if you have some of those figures. The only thing what hinders the Spin Masters figures are the glossy effect - but for this we have matte sprays.

that joint on Ellie's belly looks especially bad on her. other than that, they look pretty awesome. I picked up the Horizon Aloy and it's so good. gonna get every one
Joel looks a bit like he’s pregnant but if the lower shirt is a kind of skirt piece that fits over the actually body then I think it should be an easy fix
Why they gave Joel that Upper Chest Cut there is so weird looking why not just do it under the shirt at the waist. And then I see Ellies Ab Crunch, why oh why, they look so ugly how they did this.
The face sculpt is better than the Neca ones. They have more detail I think in comparison with a Mcfarlane or Marvel Legends (and if we count the number of accesories in this release with these two 😂)
And the last thing is these ones cost the half of the two pack from Neca, so we can't ask too much for this two. They aren't perfect but they gave us much more than any other standard company today
these would definitely look better with a matte spray but I think for the price they’re pretty great.
I did add matte spray yesterday, turned out great.

I'm with you there. While Neca produced the better quality figures, these Part I designs are more iconic IMO.
