    Thank you for sharing the clip. Having owned a number of R107 and R129 Mercs, I can say with much certainty that they are much fun. I noticed that you used a 380SL R107, and while this is a fine car, the model would have been better served by a 560SL, with more power and more cosmetic bits. As for the R129, the SL500 has ample power, though SL600 is the model to have, (especially with very deep pockets!) The version you have has a fourspeed transmission. The latter third generation R129s have fivespeed transmissions with a switch to toggle between sport and normal modes, (though the third generation Mercs have less power than the earlier 129s).       Thank you, I apreciate your comment. I hope you had time also to see part 2. Indeet for r107, 5,6L engine is the best. When I was buying my 380 I was not so much in details about the engines, but what I can tell after already 14 years of ownership... I never had any issues with the engine, even after the winter season, I just switch on the battery, start the engine and drive :).
