We have been recieving more and more packs that sould have been updates for the packs that we have already bought. This makes me super angry. This should be in City Living.
This of course would be nice but doesn't make any sense from a business perspective, why would they do that if they would operate at a loss? the amount of resources put into it would be a waste of their time to update a pack that most players already own. They tested the waters with a Spa Day pack refresh but they probably didn't get the numbers they were looking for so I don't think we'll be seeing any updates any time soon. Which is a shame because packs like Dine Out and Wedding Stories need refreshes/updates the most. I do think For Rent does look more like a game pack's worth of content with an expansion pack price tag slapped onto it though.
Something you have to understand is that there has to be loading screens between units, the game would absolutely break if it didnt, imagine if you had just 3 apartments, each with 7-8 sims, and the limit on screen is either 20 or 25, and as someone who has extended the limit myself with MCC, its not a pretty result, the game gets choppy and actions take minutes to load. Loading screens between units would be of only a benefit for game stability and the pack being less buggy.
