LIke your art very much. The way you handle the colors are lovely to look at. I've been wanting to get back to making art and after seeing your video and hearing your clear easy to understand instructions I know I will be back in action again very soon. Can't wait to order the larger gelli plate looks like it will be more versatile. Happy Spring!
Thanks for sharing this Roben-Marie! I love mono printing and now want to try it with a gelli Arts Plate! I, too, love mail art, journalling, personalizing cards, etc. I'll have to source one out for Christmas! Thanks, again!
Because you make such wonderful things - I now want a Gelli plate! I thought I could survive without one, but not now. Thanks as always for sharing with us!
Love your video. I have been playing with my Gelli plate and have gotten some really nice effects. Some I hate and will redo them. You have given me some fresh ideas . I have no place to buy stencils so I have been making my own on transparency film and they work great. Thanks for sharing. Darlene
I am fairly new to journaling. I am always looking for new elements to add because I don't draw. This looks like a new favourite. I can not wait to start! Thank you for a great tutorial!!
Hi Roben-Marie ~ This video is absolutely fantastic!! I've learned so much more from your one video than I did on the many videos I watched previously. Thanks so much for sharing & inspiring!! #sharehandmadekindness
Roben, thank you for doing this demo. It was great to watch and learn. I have yet to get a gelli plate, but it's on the top of my list. I actually loved the 2nd lifts more than the firsts. The backgrounds you can create are amazing.
I loved your tutorial and demonstration. :) You've inspired me to do more with printing on cardstock to get the layering! I mostly use deli paper when I use my plate, but I'm kinda loving the durability that the cardstock would provide. Nice!
Wonderful tutorial. I just purchased the small one to create backgrounds for my cards. I get so tired of making do with patterned papers that do not inspire me. This will give me so much more control over my work. Thank you!
Great tutorial! I've just got a Gelli plate after seeing the article in the current issue of Quilting Arts - I want to use it for printing fabric - and your tutorial's a great intro. Many thanks for putting it together for us!
Great tutorial! Just got my Gelli Plate. My main question is more specific to the use of the prints. I want to use them as art journal backgrounds. But, my art journals are all bound. How do you use a print for an art journal background in a bound journal?
i just stumbled on this technique on Pinterest and wondered if you have only used the prints for journaling? i make greeting cards and thought this technique would work well for face cards for the greeting cards. I ordered the 8x10 and a 6 inch round one.
Just wondering if you can tell me where you get your stencils? I have quite a few from crafters workshop...but I see some interesting ones in this video.
Thanks for the tips...I'm really interested in the leafy vine one you used with the purple paint. Very delicate laser cut roundish one. I have looked everywhere...just love that particular stencil. Thanks so much for all your videos...they really inspire me! Not only the art, but the app instructional ones too, since I'm a bit techy challenged! Ha
Great tutorial! I just got a square and a round gelli plate and I love them!!! Can you tell me why they need to be on a nonporous surface? I've been setting mine on my craft mat.
Hi Roben, Thanks for the great tutorial! I just bought a plate and am ready to roll. One question- where did you get those fabulous stencils? Love the cut out dot one...
I thought I recognized your voice! I'm a Lifebooker and this video is so well done. I'm just about to order my first gelli plate, the big one of course. Do you clean your brayer?
Thanks for all the great information. I have been trying to decide if I would really use this before I spent money on the plate and better quality paints, Your video helped me decide. Thanks for sharing. I plan to get into this soon. :)
I wonder what the stencils you used would have looked like if you pressed them on another background or a blank piece of paper - then you have three prints!
Thank you so much for this great video! It's the best I've found yet! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I look forward to trying out my new gelli plate :)
I love all your prints! Great work! And thank you for sharing. ☺️💖🌸
Thanks so much! 😊
There is a learning curve to Gelli plate art. I really love your color choices. Great tutorial, tyfs bravo and encore.

So glad you enjoyed it! Gelli Arts recommends that a nonporous surface is used because of the natural oils in the plate. Your craft mat is perfect!

Great video! thank you!
Glad you liked it!
love this
very cool!
great video but i think you added a bit too much paint at times
Love!
Ink or paint? You keep saying ink.
This was ages ago, but I am thinking paint since I was using stencils.
Why not just frame some of them? Some of them are too good to be covered up by something else.
