I wish white didn't blunder the queen. White was playing very well, and I would have enjoyed seeing Daniel convert his position.
Yeah that was anticlimactic
yeah what a god damn shame..
@@Hamppzah Not a shame. It was stockfish. Then he confused his calculating, probably neglected to put in the latest move, or skipped to the next move, got the order confused, which is what led to the queen sack. He probably thought there was compensation for doing so, as the computer was instructing him to make the knight move, and he would've been right had he gotten the order right, but that's where human error comes in.
@@RagingBlast2Fan Yeah way more possible than that 1500 elo can put together some solid midgame moves on his own. Maybe you should switch to 3D chess since in your head you are already playing it.
@@SoundAndFuryy Yeah, he just blundered the queen for no reason. He didn't mix up the move order on his computer.
You should learn not to speak on matters on which you know very little. I have some qualifications and my intuition told me he was cheating, and Daniel's did, too. But because you're snarky and stupid, I then looked at the game and this player's profile. I concluded that the deviation between his other games and this one most likely points to having received help. There are many other reasons why this player was clearly cheating in this instance, but he doesn't strike me as a habitual cheater, either, otherwise he wouldn't have made such an obvious mistake. He most likely started cheating on the spot, because he thought, seeing Daniel take unusually long on obvious moves, that he was cheating himself. He had no way of knowing Daniel was explaining his moves without watching the stream, or looking at his profile.
You don't deserve this explanation or my time.
Daniel is a tactician, a technician, a clinician of the highest order. Love it. Such clear and concise reasoning behind all his choices and moves

After ...Rd8, it seems the rook is not actually preventing Bd6 because 1.Bd6, ...Rxd6 2. Nxd6, ...Qxd6 - white now has 3. c4, with the knight pinned to the queen.
Of course, Danya does not have to take in the first place but the idea of getting two pieces for the Rook doesn’t seem to work
Edit: Danya mentions this directly after maybe I should just shut up and watch
So cozy watching this late at night right before bed... thx danya and gang
@Oyss Amethyst :)
30:59 I'm sharing Daniel's advice... it's perfect for my solo-entrepreneur peers!
I love the cheating accusations when the guy is taking upwards of 20 seconds on a move rather than the usual 3.
Especially since based on Danya's commentary, the accusations came approximately 2 seconds before white blundered his queen lol chat is nuts
just curious, has there ever been a case where the opponent wasn't cheating, BUT had Danya's stream on(streamsniping), and thus played all the best moves?
@@catgenocide6940 that would be cheating though.
@@johnrusty2298 you know what I mean
@@catgenocide6940 I think that has happened but it didn’t last very long because he stopped saying what would be the move for his opponent.
The way you explain lines (as you play people my level), and then show proper play in the game recap REALLY helps my mind connect the strategic dots. Out of all the chess streamers, I feel like I practically learn the most from you 👍👍👍
These videos are honestly such a stepping ladder to improving your chess
This is amazing content. Thank you Daniel.
oh my lards seeing a new videos in this series always makes me happy, please never end it danya
Everything with ,,accelerated dragon" just gets me fully on board
Even down to the name
Pun intended
This is the only thing I ever look forward to anymore

Thank you danya. I am watching this video at almost 2 am. Your videos have helped me immensely
I just found this channel, and I am so glad I did listening to him. Explain everything has helped me develop. Went from 900 to 1100 now it’s time for me to start studying some openings to get to the next level
I miss when he pronounced it "sitzilian"
This was a factual comment very comedically humorous
That's how the word "Sicilia" is pronounced in Sicilia (Sicilia is an island in Italy).
@@smrtfasizmu6161 Dude I live in Sicily and that's not how we pronounce Sicilia
@@Azarashi. well maybe you guys were wrong all along :D
@@TheVegoran ahah yeah you're probably right! :P
Great concept Mr Daniel. Keep up the good work from ur No 1 Supporter.
I can’t remember the game I played 5 minutes ago and this guy just references 2005 like it was yesterday.
Daniel's ability to remember a game from 2005 is impressive!.
you make chess more entertaining ! thx
Love these Speedrun instructional videos!
lol probably watching the stream and got confused with the knight move Danya suggested.
This is what I was thinking, lol. Danya said "I'm worried if he exchanges everything, then plays Ne5 at the end of it".
The guy must have heard it, and exchanged on g6, thinking that was "the end of it", completely hanging his Qeen 😂😂😂
Holy shit i think you're right
hi, Danya! i hope it`s ok to make a suggestion)) as a total newbie in chess lurking through the content on youtube i find that one topic is missed by creator. what do you think about a series about getting out of bad positions? like review of your own competitive games where you made a mistake, got yourself in bad position and gor out of it (or may be even not or just got a draw)?
Hey Daniel can you consider doing a video on the accelerated dragon please. But instead go in depth on possible moves? For example at 1:01 my opponent would most likely take the knight. Thank you for the videos!
2:43 "Nd2, vaht else!" "Two beeshops, vaht else!"
@8:00, Rd8 does prevent Bd6 due to Rxd6 Nxd6; c4 and e4 removes the pin.
With a name like accelerated dragon, how can I not play this opening?
I recommend hyper accelerated dragon Sicilian
Really educational video as always Daniel. Would you go over that curious picture in the banner of you and Kasparov?
If it's the same picture that was in the background of a different speedrun video, it's a picture of him resigning to Spassky. By the sound of it, Danya was really humbled and honored that he even got to play Spassky.
Spoiler warning because someone complained
This guy playing super solid untill he just hands danya a free queen
Thank you for spoiling this
@@Foto_gui Bruce Willis was dead at the end of the Sixth sense and Kevin spacey is kayser sose
He blundered a pawn and played c3? How is that playing solid Lmaoo
@@mikecantreed how dare you!
Opening was pretty bad, though
Yes! I've been waiting for this one
Awesome videos. The tricks are awesome.
wow that Nf5 line at the end was powerful. good to know even danya sometimes plays "hope chess" :D
I wonder how many people report “OhMyLands” for fair play violations?
Lol
Farming on a throwaway account is against fair play, so they should report.
@@tamasvarga5905he’s a content creator so he probably he has express permission, and it’s educational content so it’s not against fair play
He isn’t violating anything. His opponents anyway get their rating points back later :)
@@tamasvarga5905 you don't have a clue what you're on about
This guy deserves a million subs.
I think he thought about what to do after the queentrade for so long, that he forgot it hadn't happened jet. Happens to me every once in a while😅
13:28 actually I wouldn’t have thought I‘m a GM with less than 1400 but that were exactly my thoughts and the reason why I didn’t like the whole idea of Kh8
The still smiling danya pic when he showed his 2005 game caught me off guard 😂😂😂
Thank you for these videos, Daniel
Ty very much for these lessons Daniel! I play these opening often and have gotten better and better at it in both bullet and blitz. I do have a question about 4. … g6 5. Nxc6… should I take the knight with the b pawn or d pawn. I usually take with the b pawn but have gotten into the immediate 6. Qd4 not allowing my bishop to fianchetto. What to do in this situation as I usually stall and tend to move the f pawn to block the diagonal ruining my king side. Thanks again!
Brilliant, once again!
Accelerated speedruns
At 23:01 there's Knight takes c3 to take the pawn back, then he probably checks, rook f7 etc. It looks like you retain the extra pawn, and his c3 pawn becomes weak if he captures the knight. Or maybe i miss something.
Your content is so frigging good
Our knight is very jumpy. I love it.
once again it's the man with the master plan, they call him dan and, i think you better recognize
At 8:10 if Bd6 Rxd6 Nxd6 Qxd6 then C4 wins the knight right? Am I missing something?
Oki he explained it later
At what rating do you become able to memorize all your games?
500
9000+
27000
I think OTB in classical time control you have to write down all your moves, so I'm guessing that helps
@@douwehuysmans5959 Still, remembering a game from 2005 where you had specific tactic is kind of incredible.
9:44 what would you do against g4?
when do you push the e and f pawns in the acclerated dragon
Staying up just to watch
That was a good complication because this is the sort of situation I as a low level intermediate player often find myself in
how come during chess analysis it says "centipawn this" and "accuracy that" but never "# of tempo won"
LOVE YOU DANYA
I'm worried about trying the accelerated dragon because after g6, it gives white +0.8?
I dont even play chess anymore, i peaked at 1700 and got bored, but the game is still good to learn while we,re still young!!
16:14 what about c5 to go b6 and fianchetto the white bishop
What rating range would you recommend The Sicilian be used for?
I heard Levy Rozman say at least 2000, but if I see Daniel play, it's alright to play it when your around 1400 I think. The accelerated dragon at least.
You can play the Sicilian at 800 if you want to. I gained 200 elo very fast after playing the Sicilian instead of just e5 playing into my opponent's game.
If you can learn it at 400, play it. Why wouldn’t you
The perfect rating to start playing for Sicilian is 1100 imo
Like any opening, it‘s fine to learn even if you‘re beginning. But don‘t expect instant results if you‘re not aware of the plans in the different Sicilians or only have very limited theory knowledge. The Sicilian is very heavy on theory, move orders matter a lot, and the ideas aren‘t always very clear cut like in the Najdorf for example. The dragon is much more straightforward.
day 13 of saying you're the best danya! thank you for the informative and quality content.
Thanks Danya
i had a feeling
of pain
Wait. What happened to Mark Smiley?
Why people don't play c4 against accelerated? One move and you have almost +1 according to computer
Its pretty good. I play it, but its not +1 already.
It's good but not that good. At depth 47, Stockfish 13+NNUE gives it +0.4. And when I limit the depth search on chess.com to 16 plies, it only gives a +0.16 advantage. I think that means it's good but also fairly difficult to play well. Since d4 and c3 are also good alternatives, c4 ends up being played less often than you might expect for such a good opening. I think it's similar to why the Caro-Kann isn't played all the time. It's a great opening, but it's competing with e5 and the Sicilian, which are also fantastic choices.
Now tell them how to deal with the Maroczy Bind .
Accelerated Dragon: 0:03
let's fuckin goooo
This guy is very good! Does he threaten anything? No
accelerated dragon naroditsky variation
I think this "Taking a piece that moved once with a piece that moved twice" is a little bit misleading. You will recapture with a pawn, so you've developed equally pretty much. It's different however when your piece recaptures because you're doing two things at once - developing and recapturing.
Well that pawn recapture allowed him to open up the bishop so he did gain a tempo. Otherwise he would have had to play d6 or d5 to open the bishop. By recapturing he played two tempos with one move.
@@patrickmoloney672true, true.
But in that case he could have developed the bishop to a6, where it would have been very nicely placed, harrasing the rook on f1.
@@spartanthe300ththermopylae4 I think you're talking about some other moment in the game
@@Kokurorokuko I was talking about Danya's decision to go with the capture dxc6 (2:22). Had he captured with bxc6, that would have cleared the path for the bishop to deploy to a6.
What moment were you talking about?

accelarated defeat opening
I've been studying up and stringing wins together, but I'm massively under rated right now and I'm still playing at least one blunder per game, usually in the end game and still plagued by missed wins and mistakes I wonder how I would fair in one of these games
What time format?
@@geckogeico2212 Rapid 10 minutes
Are you really underrated if you're making blunders and missing wins 🤔
@@ubchnfhnbh2278 Well I'm 1300 on one site and 1700 on another, I get games where I'm under rated, I win in 12 moves but the analysis still says 1 mistake or 1 blunder, missed mate in 4 stuff like that
I mean winning in 12 moves isn't really impressive if you're playing some cheap gambit every game
Up a whole 800 rating points in 17 years....I did it in the last 7 (at twice his age), and Hans Moke Niemann did it even faster.
I hate how in 900 elo, people just capture everything. There is no dmz, it's just full-on carnage.

When you flip the board right in the middle of an explanation, it kind of makes it impossible to follow!!
“Let’s play….hmmmm”
rip 'sitzilian'
Did he realize it was wrong, or what?
@@brucewayne2184 I got no idea xd
@@brucewayne2184 It's only wrong if you consider the English pronounciation right. That's perfectly valid of course, but English and French are so mangled that their pronounciations of foreign words should never be trusted. Except Japanese for some reason, Japanese words are pronounced pretty accurately by English speakers
@@lred1383 yeah but sicilian is an english word, in Italian it would be "difesa siciliana", so you have to consider the English pronunciation
