    Thank you UPS for having the "balls" to go for this beautiful machine and order more of them to enter your fleet in the coming years.

    That is one sexy aircraft. The clean lines, that glistening fuselage...and I love the UPS livery. Elegance with power. No better combination.

    The UPS livery on the clean lines of that cArgo variant make that the most beautiful plane in the sky.

    the GOOD news is that UPS just ordered an additional 14 of these beauties. By the end of 2021, they should have all 28 of the -8s in service.

      Yes, that´s true.
      But I think, that then this is the end of production of our beloved jumbo.

    • @1Ocqueoc
      @1Ocqueoc 6 лет назад

      I would not doubt it - especially since that just prior to UPS ordering the initial 14 planes, Boeing had already notified the SEC that production would be ending.

      2021? that's great! should mean we should still have jumbos of some form in the air for years to come if looked after properly, I hope they preserve some in flying condition when retirement does come, such an iconic aircraft

    La empresa UPS es sin dudas la primera en su tipo.cuenta con una red de distribuicion mundial,debidamente adecuada a los tiempos.la eleccion sobre la compra de 14 Boeing 747 8 F.pone de manifiesto la capasidad de este servicio mundial de carga aerea.Boeing pensaba discontinuar el desarrollo y fabricacion de este modelos pero creo que esto es bien llegado.las ventas de este modelo bien podrian reactivarse en cuanto se tenga una politica de ventas mas agresiva.

    It lands empty of cargo, but leaves Osaka full.

    • @jimhal5553
      @jimhal5553 5 лет назад

      Alan Fox: That statement is not true. UPS, FedEx, DHL and others don't just move freight to and around the U.S. They move freight from all over the world to all over the world. just the expense of flying one of those empty to Japan would be insanely expensive and make the return trip a losing proposition.
