I believe that by watching the video we are somehow accomplice of the situation we trying to criticise; we should not forget that even in the case that India is considered a risen developed country, most of it population live in extreme poverty, and the video is nothing more a tool to confirm how these needy people work and live. Cipi construction is some one that made good use of the needs of the indigent; if any one that live in countries where there are laws that protect the workers at their work, should be ashamed watching this sort of videos were peoples work not only without the minimum safety gear but (I’m sure) without any protection in case of an accident. The only thing I have learned from the video is that we should not consume any item manufactured in that country unless they stop the use of slave workers. It is bloody revolting.
This is not how good welders work, I have a very big problem with the safety no gloves, mask and other ppe. I don't care how good you are as a welder if you are not practicing safety you are not a good trades man. As a welder I hate to see stuff like this.
Why those people, are not, able to organize a, workshop, working on the soil, barefoots whithout protection . Since my point of view it is not poverty, is careless, nobody teach them how do work.
